Mostly every company would have the criteria of 60% and above only. I haven't seen even one company also without this criteria over here, and both for internships and placements so far. And even if the companies don't have that criteria, the college placement cell puts that criteria. Same criteria issue for me as well, I could not apply for any of the companies. And if 20 comapanies visit then rarely 1or 2 for MCA, mostly all others for BE BTECH MTECH only. And even that companies select BTECH MTECH students only, very rarely selected MCA students even if they are very capable enough. So joining here without meeting the percentage criteria is waste only. And studies also not at good, if we study here we would just get brand value only, no knowledge, skills at all. Better you look out for persuaing from some other college I would suggest and highly recommend.

​@@AryanKumar-td9pj For MCA you would have to take VITMEE entrance exam and for joining BCA there is no entrance exam, it's based on 12th std marks. If the VITMEE entrance exam is cancelled as it was done last year, Yes you would get preference if you do BCA from VIT and apply for MCA. Even if the entrance exam is conducted, still you would get some preference but the preference factor would be less and rank factor would be taken into consideration more if exam is conducted. Better you look out for persuaing from some other college I would suggest and highly recommend. Any of the alumni or student with good intention would never recommend VIT to anyone and see them wasting their career and life as they did.
