I saw Megadeth last night in Melbourne. I think every Megadeth guitarist is amazing, (I have been to a Marty Friedman, James Lamenzo, Steve Via, George Lynch clinics), (not saying they were not informative at all), but watching you play and the way you explain things (on Rick Beato) you have inspired to pick my axes up again. Hah! I'm going through practicing and learing this one now as well, after finally learning and being comfortable with "Dreamlike". "Vital Signs" is also going nice now, although the main riff really took a couple of days for the brain and fingers to synchronize. But what I find fascinating about learning your solo work is that, it reveals just how much you love to have fun with composing, and as an added awesome bonus, once one does learn the riffs, and especially the entire song properly, by the time I am finished practicing all the parts, and getting the dynamics, expressions, bends, everything as good as I can, I see that my overall guitar playing has advanced to another level, and understanding of the fretboard. I just want to thank you for wonderful music and uncomparable inspiration through your openness, honesty, and down to earth attitude. You truly are an inspiration :)
