Lenox Lewis took this fight with two weeks notice . Even though Klitschko had some great moments , Lennox Lewis was still landing a lot of power shots and a lot of wide open uppercuts that im sure would have knocked out most and Klitschko off. Either way you people hating on Lennox Lewis because he want to fight because the doctor stopped the fight even especially when he only had two weeks to prepare for this fight. When you go into beat the champion you have to beat the champion and regardless what you haters might want to say Lennox Lewis was the champion and retired at that. 💯

Not true, Vitali Klitschko took this fight on a 2 weeks' notice as Lewis went through the full training camp. Klitschko was better and ahead on the scorecards. If Lewis was all that, why did he refuse to fight the rematch with Vitali. Lewis knew what was coming and knew that Vitali would knock him out. Usyk became undisputed at 37, and at the same age, people tried to say Lewis was too old. If we compare Lewis to Usyk, Usyk has 3 times more amateur fights under his belt than Lewis. Usyk has also mote title fights on his resume than Lewis, by only having 22 fights on his resume. Usyk is by far more burnt out than Lewis. Lastly, Lewis ran away from the rematch and had a lot to prove because Vitali won the first fight. The doctor did a poor job, and should have asked Vitali if he was okay to continue. Instead, he stopped the fight on his own. We could imagine what Vitali would do to Lewis if he went through the full training camp. He would probably dispatch him out like he did dispatch out Kirk Johnson in a quick fashion.
