I've got a 03 CR125 brilliant bike to ride. very usable power, plenty of top end, suspension is pretty good, brakes are pretty good too. just an all round great bike

This is such an awesome build, these older 125s are so cheap and make a perfect bike for people wanting to learn, or for someone who is looking to do a dream build type project.

I sold my 03 cr125 in 2009 and bought it back in 16’. It needed rings, so I bought a 450 and put it in my shed. Got it out last week and bought a top end kit for it. Waiting for it to be done right now. Can wait to rip it again. I love that bike.

Just recently got done doing something similar on an 03 CR 125 myself. All said and done without 'homey hook ups' was just over 3k. Original cost of the bike was $1100, so another $1900 in parts was actually what it took...

The sport is not growing wdym?
@mikearmstrongofficial17254 жыл бұрын
@@ConnerBonner1 Here in the UK we have a growing problem with the cost of the sport rising and tracks closing for various reasons. If we could show the next generation that you don't need a brand new state of the art WIFI hooked up bike(which is cool IMO but not essential) then you could get more bums on seats. More bums on seats means more publicity and more cash flow in amateur racing and clubs. More cash for winning in amateur racing means more attraction and were off! Have a look at @johnnyhopper and his channel. He highlights the sport in America (in his opinion) is slowly heading South too and I have similar opinions about it. I'd love to hear what the sport is going through in America and what other people think about it. Also if you are on the other bench like expressed then I would love to hear about your ideas and thoughts about how to grow the sport to new people who may not have 7-10k sitting to buy a new bike. Let me know what your thoughts are. Cheers.

@@mikearmstrongofficial1725 All the karens here in SoCal hate it lmao. I agree with you, the U.K is a small country and theres a lot of moto fans no doubt about that. The U.S is more open with more tracks and more spread out across the country. idk, different environments, different opinions...

I dont have much in my CR500. $2500 for the bike $550 on suspension revale & respring. $140 brakes upgrade. So just a bit over $3k and race-ready.

03s usually seem to bring more than 900 around my way.So you guys have the hook up.And because there is a market they are continuing to increase in price unfortunately.People think there clapped out bikes are worth 1800 or more and would need framed and bearings and everything else.I love a blue collared garage build.Nice work.
