Most Important : Alcohol (wine, beer, whisky, rum) consumption depletes vitamin D . Cholecalciferol D3 is the safest form of D supplement as it does not require activation by kidney . 60K IU once a week is the most commonly prescribed dosage for adults .

Vitamin D has been found to help recovery for people who contract Covid 19. I always spend at least 20 to 30 min each day where possible. I do lots of gardening.

Hiya Ryan~ I recall D3 is fairly new on the market. (like 20ish yrs?) It was always just D. Soooo is there now just D3 and is D3 enough or do we ALSO need plain D? and if they are different, why aren't they combined when sold or are they? Sorry but that's always confused me about D & D3... Hi, a great question. You only need to take D3, as this is the best absorbed variation of Vitamin D. The numbers on these are simply different types of Vitamin D. The common pills you see that are just labelled Vitamin D (are really D2).
