Even as I drink it occasionally, I never once thought that vitamin water is healthy. People don't read the fine prints. I never literally think I'm getting a vitamins in water. That's idiotic. As if I think I'm actually getting coke in my coke.

John Saylor That is artificial sugar. Artificial sugar has no benefits and no nutritional value, as it enters the bloodstream it creates fat and blocks blood vessels causing heart attack, stroke, etc. natural sugar is better because it is actually very beneficial and doesn't make you fat.

You do not need refined sugar for anything. This type of thinking is why so many people are becoming obese. The only type of sugar your body needs is that found in veggies and fruits.

I just checked three different flavors I had; two of them had zero sugar and the third had one G. Mine says Vitamin Water Zero though so that might be why. I wonder if it's healthier.

Those are full of artificial sweetners which is linked to cancer. However you want to defend it, the company shouldn't call it vitamin water and should not promote it as a healthy drink. They can promote it as a tasty drink however.

we are all branded...well coca cola is great company, the only bad thing about vitamin water is that people who substitute water with vitamin water are more likely to get sugar by the time they're 50 atleast if they haven't got it already, everytime you drink soda or any other carbonated beverage its the same deal and ofcourse the company who produces coca cola are gonna add sugar to everything they are marketing

Yes it is bad cause of the sugar but what I do is just take sips and I drink one bottle in two days you can do the same with coke but you will lose weight slower. Plus your body NEEDS sugar just don't over do it people 😄!!

I buy coke on sale at Shoppers Drug mart. It sells for $2.50 for six 750ml bottles. I compared the cost per millimeter to that of Vitaminwater that I also purchase occasionally at $2.79 for a 591ml bottle. The VitaminWater cost 8.49 times more than the coke. Wow, that is expensive water.
