*I had one of these before and it lasted many years and I used it a lot. It blends **MyBest.Kitchen** chops ,grates. Does most anything you would want to use it for. A lot of bang for your buck. A litlle loud however it so fast it is not bothersome.*

The self cleaning doesn't work with everything you blend, I blended Mac and Cheese for my special needs son and I have to wash it by hand because the self cleaning doesn't do a good job, for smoothies yes.

I like how many tasks this top of the smart Vitamix blenders can do for you. Also there will be more food processor attachments for the 3500 in the future. I want the 3500 for my kitchen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year forever.

Re cleaning setting, I’ve always put some water and a little detergent after using my blender. You don’t need a cleaning setting. That’s just silly. Any blender will do that. Thank you 😊

On this blender, it will automatically turn off when the cleaning cycle is complete. But you are correct, you can use this method to clean any blender! 😁

I have the Vitamix Perfect Smart Scale and associated iPad app and Vitamix 5200. I get reproducible and perfect green smoothies every time using the scale and app. My smoothies were horrible before that. I could never get the right proportion of ingredients and my smoothies tasted bad. I have joined your seven day program. Can you provide grams for each ingredient so I can use the scale to get this right? I fear I will mess this up and get bad tasting smoothies as I did before the smart scale made me the perfect smoothie maker.

How awesome ! I had no idea at you could press a button setting and walk away and the blender knows when to stop ! Or that it has a dishwasher setting ?! Haha I love it ! Thank you for the video! I have a ninja now but my friend said there’s issues with the ninja leaking toxic fumes into the blender food! I’m so upset 😭 to hear about that and don’t want to get sick if that’s a faultiness happening with Ninjas. Kinda scary!

Hi Lara! We haven't heard anything about toxic fumes with Ninja blenders but that does seem scary! It may be because that person burnt out their blender motor, and you would def know it if you were doing that! We do love this Vitamix blender, not least of all because of the self-cleaning setting. If you are looking to upgrade your blender, you can't go wrong with a Vitamix. :)

The demo was good. But just can't understand why is this so expensive. Plus it doesn't come with other jars, like the 8oz one. With that amount of money shouldn't the customers get all the accessories.

You said "pretty sharp blade" but the blade is blunt. It pulverises rather than cut - that's why quality doesn't decrease over time and also why it leaves no seeds, no matter how small they are.

May I suggest instead of washing away all of the wonderful ingredients, why not add a couple of cups of cold filtered water ,blend , drink the flavoured water and you will use every last drop of goodness lol .

Hey Mama, Vitamix blenders can come with a steep price tag, and they're well worth it, but I totally understand if you can't or just don't want to put out that kind of money on a blender. One of my favorite, more affordable, blenders is a Ninja or a Nutribullet (for a single serving blender). Both of those are amazing blenders and have more of a reasonable price. I really liked your presentation. I wonder why the cap of the blender didn't coincide with the "lip" of the blender but I guess it would pour out if it had that feature. Can I put this in the dishwasher?

The reason it doesn't firmly fit is to allow air to escape especially while doing hot soups ect I have been doing research for about 3 months on many blenders and in opinion vitamix's blenders hit the top of my list I look at specs what they do the quality and all the good stuff and I am happy to say this is the blender imma get

I love that you don’t have to guess how long to blend the ingredients to make the perfect consistency. The dishwasher setting is amazing!!!! No need to risk cutting a finger washing it by hand.

There are so many things to love about this blender. This is the platform that Vitamix will continue to build on in the future so it's pretty much future-proof.this machine has everything you need and want in a blender. Programmable timer, preset settings, 10-year warranty, beautiful metal finishes, and the list goes on and on. I used to have a Vitamix 6300 and now I am trying to decide between the 750 and the a3500. Lenny from life is noyoke said to do the regret test. If someone sent you one in the mail, before you open it, which one are you going to regret not being in the box. I guess I'm getting the ascent a 3500. Thank you for your videos and I will be getting your smoothie book.

Yes i watched lenny on tht video. I have a 5200 tht i think is defective n it doesn't mice the food as shown on utube. It also get hot in 30 second of blending. It only keep cool wen i blend with frozen fruits. I really dnt know which one to choose. Lol. I need help

I'm in the market for a blender, and in particular I have been studying which Vitamix to purchase. This video was not only sincere and well done, it was also very informative. After watching this video, I now know exactly which blender to purchase, and I have decided on the brand. It will be a Vitamix. They are pricey but well worth it I think. I am disabled now, and I need all the help I can get!!!! I looks like it can get the job done, as I no longer have any strength in my hands, so just pushing a button sounds great to me!! The self detect actually sets the time based on the size of the container just so you know for future reference look it up it's pretty amazing still that technology has been incorporated into kitchen appliances the world has come very far in terms of it products for the kitchen and as a whole love it

Basically stay away from vitamix My A3500i was dead on arrival. Unfortunately I only open the box 1.5 mths later and is unable to return. Contacted customer service and was told to go back to distributer for repair with me covering shipping. Shouldn't it be a replacement?

Hi! Are you loving your blender so far? My family is a huge fan of Vitamix blenders. Because of the powerful motor, it will be a little on the loud side. If I want to drink my smoothie in the morning but don't want to wake up people who are still sleeping, I will blend the night before and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. That also saves time in the morning!

I've been looking for a vitmix, but with so many to chose from it can be difficult, when I seen this one I've been trying to decide and this one is it for all my meals. I got the shock of my life in 2020 and was diagnosed with CF at 51 kind of a bummer but im trying to bounce back after getting put on all kinds of meds my bills sky rocketed had to give up my job of 17yrs so its been tough to save up. I have to chose to eat better and get more exercise to my daily life. I had no idea eating like my life depended on it could be a challenge so this will make my life easier no doubt about it. For now it will take a little longer but this is what I want and will get eventually. Thanks for sharing!

Jen this demo was so helpful and I've been wanting to get a Vitamix Forever! I'm a mama of 4 and my kiddos and I love having a smoothie, especially after school :) I love that you have a smoothie button option and it blends in 45 secs, that is crazy. Also that it self cleans is pretty amazing too since the reality of life is that the sink is always full. I would love to see more green smoothie recipes and focuses on using Superfoods in them like chia seeds, seed blend mix hemp/flax/chia, maca, Matcha, and protein powders. Thank you, Christina

Wow! I am fairly new to the blender world. I have a generic type of the Ninja that honestly just doesn't cut it! I have been following the Simple Green Smoothies page on fb for a long time, and have made some of the smoothies, but I am in need of a fantastic blender! I totally want this blender, haha! The little blender we have leaves chunks and such so my children won't drink the smoothies. I have gone the straining route, but that kind of sucks! I can't hardly believe it has a dish washing cycle, and it's so powerful we can see your shirt blowing! Just wow! They say the right tools make all the difference, I see that!

Great demo. I have a couple questions; (1) why would we need a separate size blender container dedicated to "dry grind", won't the 64 oz. Blender container work just as well? (2) what does the "aer" bladed disk blender container do that standard 64 oz blender container cant do?

Thanks, Jeffrey! Vitamix makes a few sizes of their Dry Grains Container and they have specially designed blades that grind whole grains into fresh flours, mix batter, and simulate the kneading process to easily prepare dough for baking. So I think it's less about the size of the container and more about the type of blades. The Aer Disc Container allows you to whip, emulsify, muddle, and foam because the container has a special Aer disc that is much different than the blades in a standard container.

DO NOT BUY. I just got a brand new A3500 and in two days its stopped blending anything but pure liquid. As soon as I put anything in (simple stuff like some frozen strawberries and bananas) the motor runs its ass off but the blade doesn't spin at all. Its broken internally. This is a crap product marketed to healthy people but with garbage engineering and cheap plastic parts on the inside.

I often watch videos of things I want to buy to see the blender in action, and make sure I want it. I can safely say that I wanted a Vitamix badly for two years now. One thing helpful about this video, which I can't find elsewhere is it shows the level of noise and the fact that the lid clips onto the jug! This is very good feature and is helpful to know! One more feature is that it has a display for the timer which I thought was really cool as well :) Oh, and if I ever get one, one of the first things I will be doing is making nut butters! 😀

I have a lot of texture issues with food and I hate bits like berry seeds and not-quite blended bits of banana in smoothies, and I recently discovered the Vitamix brand which is said to blend and pulverise them so well that there are barely any bits left including those dang seeds! So definitely looking at investing in one!

Simple Green Smoothies🍃 oh thanks for your reply . Yes I came to know that . Unfortunately the 48 oz container is not available in France . I am about to make my order soon. This video helped me a lot . 😊 I think I’m gonna get the 20 oz container for dips and sauces . The 8 oz is too small for that , but can be also interesting for herbs, crushing garlic or onions, spices... . I ll see how it goes with the 20 oz then, if I want the smaller one I will always be able to get it . But I really felt disappointed the 48 oz is not available in my country. But when I came over this video and saw that she could do a small smoothie in this big jar with law profil I was totally convinced , everything she said why she was using this machine was totally resonating with me and my lifestyle 😊🙏💫 Best regards

OMG! I love love love this machinery lol. A self cleaning blender who knew! I always highly enjoy your recipe vids here and Fb! I recently started this journey of becoming vegan. I’ve made it from vegetarian to pescatarian. Yay! Thanks for all u do. Very inspiring and informational. I would greatly enjoy this blender for my family and I(me and parents). Obesity runs in my family line and I’m doing what I can to change that. We use an old blender my mom have so it helps. This would be even more beneficial due to fact it can breakdown much better than what we have and then some. Thanks for the opportunity. Blessings

On blending with Henry’s video he stated that if you fill the jug with 1/4 of water with your detergent this will actually get the water all the way up to the lid and clean it he says less is more in this case 😊👍🏼
