George's nonbiological father. He adored Carl Perkin's. So neat he got to perform more than once with his guitar 🎸 idol. You can see the pure bliss.

George and Carl made quite a team. If you haven't heard George and Carl with Ringo, Rosanne Cash and Eric Clapton and other greats you gotta dig it cuz it's the best!

I love my sweet George. He was a true lover of the old rockabilly. He was great at all he did. He was so happy playing music with his hero Carl Perkins. He was also extremely handsome. Mmmmmm. ❤️🌹❤️

george was a modest guy not trying to be the focus of attention. he loved life itself and but in a great run for the money to be one of the best of musicians that lived in our era. cant take nothing away from his friend john lennon. both are missed, rip guys youall were great. rod aspen

George was really at home with the rockabilly guitar technique, and deeply influenced by Carl's style. Carl's influences showed up time and time again throughout the Beatle years and in Georges solo work later on. I miss you George and your wry sense of humor. People labeled George as the "Quiet Beatle" but I saw him more as the "Grounded One." He didn't let the "fame" aspect of show business get to him the way the other 3 did.

George grounded……😂 George was a great guy, but grounded wasn’t one of his qualities for a very long time. Now if you said he liked chasing p##sy you would be 100% correct. Great song with Carl Perkins.

Tony Littman Apparently, George and Joe were close neighbours. They became friends after Joe moved to Surrey, and George 'phoned him and said, "I don't know if you remember me, but we toured together in 1962. Do you fancy coming over and playing a few tunes?". They both loved ukuleles as well.

Just saw the play "Million Dollar Quartet" and was blown away. Knew of Carl Perkins but the play made me hungry as hell to find out more about him. I feel so blessed to see videos like this. Rock ' Roll is almost my life's blood. Thank you so much for this video. Just learning how much the Beatles were influenced by this humble but ohhhh so talented man, Carl Perkins.......
