Putting a bigger piston into the cylinder without measuring it just based on the hours is absolutely unprofessional. The cylinder sizes vary by 0,01 mm between two selections. A one size bigger piston will be also bigger by 0.01 mm in diameter. The factory piston clearance is 0,05 mm, but the cylinder wears unevenly. Under the piston rings, made from chromed steel it gets a barrel shape and even elliptic, while the bottom part, that is in contact with the soft piston only will not wear at all. To put a bigger piston, the cylinder needs to be honed, to restore it's original shape and the "grooves" to hold the oil film on the cylinder wall.

It’s decompression port, which is needed for easy engine start, as far as in know. And it should be cleaned if you have opportunity for do it

all that lock tight in way to many places will cause big prolems on future simple mantance. Id say the only place you need it is on the engine frame to mounting plate the 4 tapered bolts. On my last rebuild I had to heat them with a torch to release the lock tight. I check prop bolts every 20 hours along with pull starter bolts. All other bolts about every 100 hours the ones the ones you can see. As of yet I think Ive only ever found but one pull starter bolt back out a little. I purchased a brand new electric start engine 185 what a pile of shit that was. I have worked on that thing, more that than all my used 185 engines. That must of been a friday motor. 6/24 purchased,

200 hours!!!?? What kind of crap are you selling? And it's stupid expensiv also. If it's that terrible, how about including an extra piston and maybe a muffler, since that's gonna crack. Embarrassing. You should be ashamed with that price.

It’s an aircraft so you must make sure the maintenance is done and no issues when flying. They did have exhaust issues from bad design and also accelerated by bad operator warm up proceeders but they did offer replacements and fixed in MY20. From my experience this motors build, parts acquisition, performance and reliability especially when flying makes it far better than most motors on the market. You get what you Pay for.

@@pepperjackshack2439 I have a PPL. I think I know what an aircraft is. And "you get what you pay for"... not much apparently when it comes to paramotors.

@@pepperjackshack2439 yep, he knows nothing of our sport and the different engine providers and engine reliability on these. He said he’s waiting for electric. Well he missed the bus on that one too apparently. I’m on the 3rd batch of the sp140. Will be using it mainly for aero/acro and some thermaling. Fucking ignoramus.
