How the hell do the very rich get to pronounce living on the street, with or without a tent, a lifestyle choice? In Australia, where I live, Tony Abbott. Aka the Mad Monk, said Australia's First Nation people had made a lifestyle choice to live in poverty. Then their party funnelled misinformation thru the media to make sure a referendum to give FNP a voice in our constitution failed. It's disheartening to live amongst such narrow-minded naysayers with nothing on their minds other than lining their own pockets.

Good on the Chief of the Met Police for standing up to withering political pressure at the national level, and insisting on the people’s right to assemble. That would never happen in the States. Yeah, old habits die hard! On a programme with comedian Chris McCausland (who's blind), a woman who'd been playing a game of axe throwing for at least half an hour with McCausland attempts to high five him by holding her hand in the air in front of him... It takes her the best part of five seconds to realise a blind man ain't gonna guess she's waiting for a high five if she doesn't tell him.
@NewChannel-wi7vj Жыл бұрын
It's not as if they're viewing hundreds of photos per show, even in the extended version! Judging by HIGNFY and the programme staring Chris McCausland (Wonders of the World I Can't See), you realise most people do a very bad job at describing things. @@cuzned1375
@BetjeWolff-v2s Жыл бұрын
It would be more effective to show Ian the photos beforehand, so he can practice how describe it in afew words. He uses his hands searching for the right words to describe. I do that! Often people know what you mean by pantomiming it. When you have no blind people in your daily environment its a new challenge to transit an image in words. Just a hint for the program makers: give Ian and Paul some time beforehand to think about describing the pictures.
