Thank you for uploading this! The harmony is amazing, and I love the counterpoint. It really shows another side to Vivaldi’s music.

Thank you very much for uploading. If possibe, please upload La stravaganza concerti in the future, especially RV 279, 357 and 316! And also some Dresden Concerti such as 241, 323, 329 etc. These are among the best!

Alas! I don't have a manuscript to work on for any of these. Prior to Opus VIII no autograph manuscript of the published concertos survives, with the exception of RV 208/208a ('Grosso Mogul'). There was a copy of RV 316 in Dresden, an earlier version of the published RV 316a, transcribed by JS Bach for keyboard; but it was destroyed in the bombing of Dresden in WWII, I do believe.

@@DelVivaldi Thanks for this information. If opus IX is available, it would be great to have La Cetra here. Please consider RV 238, 358 and 198a. Thank you for this great channel!

@@DelVivaldi RV 316a is indeed a beautiful concerto. Rachel Podger and Arte dei Suonatori did a marvelous job of their rendition of Vivaldi's Opus 4.

@@DelVivaldi It’s a shame the manuscripts were divided by Durazzo if not recompiled but also some were destroyed through that senseless war

Vivaldi certainly liked the initial sequence, also used in his Magnificat! It's not a surprise really, it is a gorgeous sequence.
