Everyone has an issue with number 2 lol obviously anyone who is preaching that Jesus is not the only way to heaven is a false prophet and should be called out. But listen to what I am saying I was calling people false prophets because I didn’t like them … as a new believer that didn’t even know the word yet. “False prophet” is thrown around loosely in the Christian community from people who don’t even know what they are talking about!

Leaders in the church are capable of playing the victim when they wrong you...when they should repent. So they say that they have been slandered as a way to not own up to their faults. James 5:16 says to "confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another." We should honor each other through communication. God bless sister 🙏🏽

I have a Christian tik tok account, when i started to care about the numbers i immediately left beacuse my intention changed and i felt like i was living a lie because i was reading the bible but i wasnt REALLY reading the bible. Also i found myself idolizing social media and im still struggling with that still. When i went on Christian tiktok, i felt so behind in my faith and i started to doubt my salvation because so many of these tik tokers seemed so advanced in their walk. But also Christian tik tok also convicted me in alot of ways and pushed me to pursue my relationship with God more. So its a double edged sword.

It’s really about what you know you can handle. God can deliver those same messages through other ways if it’s causing you to stumble in your walk. Just pray about it :)

@@Theoryxxx Christian tiktok should be used as a tool to reach the unsaved in my personal opinion....just like any other form of social media. Tiktok has such a young demographic and they should definitely be reached. But as a Christian creative, it's the intentions of your heart that matters 💯

Wow..Thanks for this ❤️. That’s why we need to be walk by the Spirit of God and not by Flesh. God might want Mr A to be in Tiktok maybe cause he’s Mature or Fit for the job. But doesn’t want Mr B to be in Tiktok Cause it might cause him to Fall. As Christians we Need to be Very Sensitive to Every walk. Watch and Pray. God Bless Us.

I meet my husband and he lead me to Christ. I never saw him as anything more than a friend because he was 18 years old and I was 23 years old. We were friends for a whole year we did not have feelings for each other at all and I got saved eventually. Months later we realized that we were for each other, God placed love in us for each other at the right time. We prayed and asked God for his guidance to move forward in “dating”. We knew we would get married to each other because God revealed it to us individually. so I do believe it can happen but for sure always have God guide you. I honestly never imagined I’d end up marrying my best friend, my husband. This is my story but always ask seek for guidance from God and he will show you.

@@wachiraofficial7619 oh yeah… I kinda went through that. For a long time i did not want to initiate anything because I did not want to be more than a friends with him. I though he was too young and he was definitely not “my type”(or so I thought… me in my old ways). Once I got saved and became closer to God I realize we were going to be husband and wife one day. I choose to be obedient and married my best friend and I’m thankful I did, it definitely has not been easy but I know I’m in God’s will.

@@rainbowkitsch6855 I never seen my best friend (now husband) as nothing more than a best friend at first. God placed a special kind of love for my husband when it was the right time to move forward as a couple. We were friends for a year, I wasn’t saved but once I was God was putting everything in order for us to be together. We prayed before we went forward with our decision, God revealed to us individually what was to come. I remember everyone and I mean everyone everywhere we went together thought we were a couple (when we were literally just friends) they would say things like “is he your husband?”, “Is he your boyfriend?” and vice versa with him too. It use to bother me because I never felt that way towards him until God placed a love for my best friend, my husband. In a way people were already prophesying over us. We had so much peace about being“boyfriend and girlfriend”, it felt right. With everything we have gone through now as a married couple I know we were meant for each other because God reveals it time and time again.

About the pastors part, you said that you don’t like that other people talk about false prophets but I think it’s really necessary as lots of people fall for the wrong doctrine. I think they shouldn’t badmouth the pastors but instead explain providing evidence and points fro the bible disproving the false doctrine. Usually I haven’t seen people hate these pastors but rather show that they are deceptive or fake and are showing the wrong path to people which can cause them to be in sin.

Gossip is a huge problem in the church...double standards are to. You have leaders who expect you to do things that they themselves don't do. So do we just turn a blind eye to this and act like it doesn't happen? Or should we all hold each other accountable?

@@xulyns.4572 a lot of times some people are babies in the faith and do not know better, so they go along to get along. If someone does know better and tries to challenge leaders, then the challenger becomes a heretic and they kick you out of their church. These are two examples of how accountability is lost in the church which I have witnessed. But I agree with you that we should pray for our brothers and sisters as well as correct them in love.

@@godsbeloved9256 I am so sorry for what happened to you. Some people are just not representing God right.The devil uses anyone to go against you. I had bad experiences in the church also many times. The first bad experience was being called a whore by my leader. Because I told her I kissed a youth pastor. He was texting me that he liked me I thought it was from God. Since I thought he was cute I believe him. He asked me to meet him that he was going to read the Bible with him at Denny’s. The moment he came he was to pick me up in his car he was without a Bible.. He was kissing me and wanted to take me to his house. I thank God he didn’t he was afraid he felt someone was watching us. He kept looking everywhere. The moment he told me he like me but just didn’t want anyone to know. I was hurt because I had an ex that did that when he just wanted to go out with other girls behind my back. So I did not believe he wanted something serious with me. I just told my leader the truth that he was weird and that I kissed him in his car no we didn’t sleep together. I was hurt and disappointed. Leaders didn’t believe me because he was serving there for years so they believed him instead so my leader called me whore. I was crying and said sorry. I even told them he told me he was seeing another girl from the church. After he answered my question if he knew the girl because some girl told me that she was seeing a youth minister and she was excited about the relationship she had I didn’t know who it was yet until he told me he knew the girl. So then since no one believed me I kept going to church. Months later his biological brother says he cannot find him and is very concerned. Later we hear he pregnant the girl he was seeing then he gets kicked out of the church. Then he comes back with the girl and his baby. I don’t know some people said it wasn’t right to kick anyone out of the church that it wasn’t godly. But I only stayed in the church for 3 in half years I liked going to learn about Jesus. Though yeah crazy things do happen.I did pray a lot for my leaders. Later they said sorry were like family that was years ago though I moved out the area. But there’s nothing bad about correcting a brother. Bible says a lot about it. You should just preach back to them with the verses of the Bible it is the word of God. They are either with God or not.

Great point on isolation. You’re absolutely right. I prayed so much for God to give me a group of God driven people and shortly after I joined a group at church with women who are all Godly and are so supportive. This pandemic has really put me in a dark place. My church group has brought me out of my dark place and also with the help of God as well. It’s been great growing in Christ with these girls. ❤️🙏🏻

Sentence case sis when it comes to God, as the bible refers to "god" to other unclean spirits of lower rank in the spiritual realm that other people worship instead of God. Refer to Judges 6 When Gideon had to save the israelites from Idol (god) worship. NLT or AMP bible versions.

I really love your comment, may the peace of God surround you and your church group. Unfortunately, I've been isolating myself after being hurt by fellow sisters in Christ. I want true fellowship and I've forgiven them but growing in Christ with friends brings deep intimacy and I do not wish to reconcile a trust bond with them as I am being cautious... I do not wish to be hurt again. They were my first true friends when I had prayed for fellowship after I got saved... now, I'm not so sure.

P.S. “touch not my anointed ones” refers to doing physical harm, not calling out a false teacher...there are many scriptures that show we are in fact to call out those preaching a false doctrine.

@Liz Petruzzi I agree with you one hundred percent...a lot of times preachers are under a spirit of control and manipulation (witchcraft) and not the Holy Spirit. Just because someone is given a position in the church doesn't mean that they are operating under the anointing.

Trust me I have been unfortunately under false teaching, it was very disheartening when they ought know better..they twist the word of truth to accommodate their personal agenda. We are people of kingdom heirs to call out against false teaching. That what Paul spoke to Corinthians. She needs to look into scripture. God speaks harshly against false prophets, occult practices, and other means of sorcery. God describes a false prophet as one who “presumes to speak in My name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods”Deuteronomy 18:20. In Jeremiah 14:14, God says these evildoers prophesy lies, offering “false visions, divinations, idolatries, and the delusions of their own minds.”

Yeah it’s not even much about them. It’s about what they’re saying. If they’re misquoting the Bible, you should not ignore them but instead correct them and you don’t have to speak badly about anyone to do that.

@@uruppy1406 actually they can be but may have not received the revelation of a message , this happened to the disciples of Jesus after the crucifixion. Peter and others did not believe that the message of Jesus should be preached to the gentiles meaning anyone outside God's chosen people ( Israel) , though he had a night vision , he still did not understand what it's was about. It took Paul to introduce the message of Grace and with time they understood that this came from God. If they had used the old testament to say things such as where is it written in books of the prophets ? Me and you wouldn't have know about Jesus. So it's important to know that we grow in knowledge and they are levels in understanding the word of God. The algebra we learn at 12 years is different from algebra at the age of 20 in university. This is how I decided I usually deal with things if they believe in something different I understand and respect that we may not be on the same level therefore focus on your walk and pray that the Lord guide him or her to the truth. Come back to them in few years and if they really love God you will see their knowledge would have increased. Christian are really divided not which is sad , let's learn the good from other religion ( though we know Christ is the way) , many people think they are Muslims but don't realise they are at least 20 different types of Muslims followers because they don't disagree about their teachings in front of people the way Christians do. At least not in Public but in this thing of social media , many Christians have shown so much judgement towards others . This isn't about you but it's important to see how our actions reflect on the image of Jesus to others. If anyone teaches a doctrine that you don't agree with pray for them let God change their heart because no one but God knows what he told them. He speaks to us in our own unique way to us. I personally agree with her because the so called exposing of people has made more harm that good. Will this called exposure bring hatred or love towards that person? Because anything out of Love is not God. Let God fight is battle false doctrines has been there even in the times of Jesus when he was alive it will never go rather it will be worst because Jesus said all of such must come to pass before the son of God returns. Those who are Chosen will be save you can't save someone who called as not saved.

“Ephesians 4:29 do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth but only what’s helpful in building others up according to their needs that it may benefit those who listen” I definitely agree that setting boundaries by immediately telling someone you don’t feel comfortable gossiping bc you don’t gossip is a great way to stop participating in gossip. Especially when theirs always some sort of drama at work and things go around. It’s so hard not to put own input or even ask about “what happened” because then feel like don’t fit in but have to remind myself that we’re are not part of this world but striving for Heaven. All glory to God!

I’m asking God to give me the strength to delete tik tok for good. I’ve realized for me 95% of it is rubbish and a lot of idolization of self. Also this isolation one, I literally had to plead and cry out to God to help me. Now I’m apparently a people’s person. They say “make yourself friendly” if you have no friends, be a friend to someone.

I only follow people who speak sound doctrine and truth. The only tik toks I watch are the ones I follow. Plus, God has given me a friend on TikTok after I lost all my friends when I converted. And I also spread his word on there, daily Bible verses and such.

Be careful of seeking for perfection in an imperfect world. Instead of making yourself feel bad about the mistakes you’ve made, see them as an obstacle that you also go through & seek to learn from your past mistakes

and as far as christian social media platforms (including christian youtube ;) it’s important to develop your discernment not completely avoid everything. God called me to use my instagram and tiktok to shine the light on Jesus. and yes, there are rogue christians using social media for clout but that’s every platform. Discernment will be the best in that situation.

It says to stay away from them,not public call them out because the problem with doing that is when an unbeliever sees this it’s not a good look,especially as people usually go back and forth making KZbin videos about each other and it doesn’t bring glory to His name at all. Best thing to do is to avoid them & if you need to warn believers then you call call out the false doctrine without saying names. An example of how to deal with these disagreements of beliefs and doctrines is Peter and Paul, they parted ways so it wouldn’t cause tension I know ITS THE NOT SAME SCENARIO but it shows how we should deal with doctrine differences so that we don’t allow Satan to hinder the work of God and divert our attention from the lost souls who need help

Awesome that the Lord is truly dealing with you in many ways. Far as the false prophets goes the Lord with deal with them. You will know them by their fruit on who’s for God and who isn’t. Our place as believers isn’t to condemn them,but we are suppose to correct people in Love. You’re right on bashing someone is wrong,but speaking of their false teachings are 2 totally different things. Anyways ! Keep striving forward and finish this race strong! 🤝❤️

hey Vivian :) regarding point #2, i really want you to consider what scripture says about calling out false teachers. It's a biblical mandate for us to do so, but we don't call them out because we simply "don't like them," but rather we call them out in love because they teach something that is contrary to what the word of God says. It is not slandering, but rather calling out what is being openly taught that is against truth. We do it hopes that they will repent and turn to biblical truth AND we do it to warn the people of God as well. These are just some verses the Bible says about false teachers: 1. "Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh" (Phil 3:2) 2. "I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive." (Romans 16:17-18) 3. "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths." (2 Timothy 4:3-4) 4. "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction." (2 Peter 2:1) 5. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15) 6. 2 Peter 2-3 7. The whole book of Jude In order to protect the flock of God, we should expose false teachers to minimize the spread of teachings that run contrary to who Christ is. We have to snatch our brothers and sisters from the fire, and much of that is done by calling out what is false. God is a holy God, and his word should never be twisted. We as Christians must delight in truth, proclaim truth, and call out what is contrary to truth because we love God and love his people!! This is all out of love, and what a beautiful thing it is to stand up for truth. Yes, the Lord looks at the heart, this is true. But we must discern and test every spirit to see if they are truly from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1). If they are openly and continually teaching something false and parading in their falsehoods, you can be sure the Lord would want us to warn his flock about this. Biblically, we're never told that a curse will come on us if we call someone out for their teaching. Many preachers say this to propagate fear so that no one will question their teaching, but this is a dangerous thing to say. The apostle Paul, the main guy who wrote many of the letters in the New Testament, called out Peter when he was acting out of line with the gospel (Galatians 2:11-13). No curse came upon him, but rather God used him to point the people of God to truth! If Jesus himself warned against false teachers (Matthew 7:15), he wants his people to warn each other as well. The apostle Paul also called out multiple people that the churches he was writing to had to look out for because of how they abandoned truth. Here are some examples: 1. “Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me” (2 Timothy 4:10). 2. “You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes” (2 Timothy 1:15). 3. “By rejecting this [faith and a good conscience], some have made shipwreck of their faith, among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander” (1 Timothy 1:19-20). 4. “Their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus” (2 Timothy 2:17). Many people use 1 Chronicles 16:22 to justify not warning others about a specific person, but it is taken out of context, since that passage refers specifically to the patriarchs at that time. Completely agree. There is such a difference between slandering someone and calling out false teaching out of love so others don’t stumble especially newer believers. We also want the leaders who are deceived to have their hearts and minds opened to God’s truth too.

The best way to get to know God personally is to get into his word, so I would start by getting a bible and just start from the beginning. There is a bible app though that reads it out loud to you and has guided plans and is free and easy to use. I would also recommend reevaluating what is currently influencing your life and maybe removing negative influences such as who you follow on social media (Ally Yarid on Instagram is a great resource), music, and other media you consume. I would also recommend listening to some KZbin sermons, Paul Washer is pretty good. Apologia Studios on here has some really great informative videos and even discussions with atheists. At the end of the day, the number one thing any new Christian should know is the gospel, and that is that Jesus died for you and all your past and future sins. You are redeemed through Him and no sin is too much for Him to forgive, and if you let Him into your heart, and I pray you to do, He can heal you inside and out. It's a gradual process, but hopefully some of this helps and God bless you.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 Believe that you are a sinner in need of a saviour and that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day according to scripture. 1 Corinthians 15 “by this gospel you are saved” Accept what Jesus did for you on the cross for you, it is a free gift. There’s nothing we can do good enough to earn our way into heaven. Jesus did it all for us, accept him into your heart and ask him to reveal himself to you. He will fill you with his Holy Spirit who will start a good work in you and never leave you, nothing will pluck you from the Fathers hand once you accept him. You have to believe and recieve Jesus. Believe that God sent his Son down for you. That when Jesus died on the cross he took upon all your sins to him past,present,and future. That his blood has cleansed you and made you righteous when you accept his free gift of slavation. Also repent of your sins as in turn from them and ask the Holy spirit to enter you and guide you. “Cling to God resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you and then walk by the bible. Just ask him to change your heart and you will be born again. Be sincere and if you want you can get baptized. A lot of people have a problem with following the words of other people so it’s best to say your own prayer. Maybe write a list of things you want to repents from (actions, words). Remember that you should have fruits of the spirit when you are truly changed even though it’ll take a while. I hope you come to the Lord our Christ and begin a new life. A lot of preachers teach the prosperity gospel but don’t fall for that, this life isn’t easy for any of us but God will help you and guide you.💜🤍

There’s definitely a difference between slander and pointing out something that someone is doing wrong. If you are saying something against them because you don’t like them than it’s definitely gossip but if you simply just want to explain to someone “oh, this pastor teaches new age doctrine so don’t follow him.” You don’t have to say it in a hateful way either even Jesus called people vipers. We have to call out wrong but we can never loose our love and compassion for the lost that are following the wrong way, if that makes sense. Love the sinner not the sin because that’s exactly what God does and we don’t want others to stumble into false doctrine. It’s always about our heart condition God knows if you are gossiping because you like attention or it makes you feel good or pointing out something because you want to educate someone.

I was just trying to explain that to my sister this morning. About the music part. There’s just some music that I just don’t wanna listen to anymore, for the very reason that it brings up memories. I don’t want to go back to that.It’s like you said “dang that was me I did that” type of feeling. Sometimes the enemy tries reminding me how shameful I was. That’s when GOD word is so precious, I start speaking truth to me self. It’s very humbling.

That verse in Chronicles is taken way out of context, sis. That's like opening a novel, reading two sentences that are in the middle of the book that seems okay, and then running with it - when in fact, if you read the whole chapter collectively, it says something completely different. Proper exegesis needs to be done when it comes to the Bible and applying OT literature to our present time means that we are not doing proper biblical analysis. Most false teachers love this verse to manipulate the congregation so that they will continue preaching false doctrine. Maybe the false teachers don't do it on purpose but certainly, that verse adds an element of power for them to teach whatever they like and go uncorrected. We need to rebuke and call out each other in love 💕 the Apostle Paul is for this idea, what makes a pastor/ teacher exempt from this? God bless you, Viv. I love your content ❤️

I agree with what you’re saying that if you don’t like a pastor don’t listen but calling out a false prophet shouldn’t be a problem. There’s many false preachers who aren’t teaching the word correctly and are leading people astray. You should be able to take reproof and correction as a Christian but also have discernment. The truth should be told.

Darling, many things you said it ok, but when it comes to the not asking advise from your family and friends I do disagree a little bit. I was a very Christian like you, don't get me wrong I'm still a Christian, but not listening to or asking other people's advice because they're non believers I made so much mistakes when I use to believe that, my advice to you will be you can ask and listen, but have the wisdom from the Lord in order to take what's right, because God can use anybody especially people who have more life experience then us. Don't be quick to judge or see others not good to listen to, you will end up making a lot of mistakes and regret later.

I used to be into the rave scene too.. the Lord rescued me from all of that , and I don’t longer desire to be in that kind of environment .. however , I still listen to that kind of music from time to time. Like when I go workout , it just gets me pumped for my run and stuff. . Pray for me 💜

Ephesians 5:11 tells us to expose darkness and Paul himself names names, calls ppl out by name to warn other believers. If you know someone is a false teacher it is not sin or ungodly to expose them by name for the purposes of warning others❤️ love who you are in the Lord! Blessings sister!

To be honest I barely have Christians friends in my life and I also isolate myself. My anxiety and depression is through the roof and I’m tired of giving up and giving into my temptations. I sometimes read the word but I feel like I barely give God the focus. It makes me feel sad and even more stressed of my life. I also keep having weird, disturbing dreams. I don’t even know what to do at this point. I know I’m a young person but I’m already tired.

I’ve also struggled with that for years but something that has helped me is having a schedule or a list of things to do that day. For example I’ll wake up early, workout, shower, eat, bible study on things that m struggling with or something I’m curious on, or watch Christian podcast (recommend Prompt Us) on youtube. This has helped so much, the hardest thing really is waking up early but it’s so worth it and it helps motivate me.

I disagree with the false prophet thing. All throughout the Bible false teachers are talked about. We are taught to identify, rebuke, and avoid false teachers and teachings. We shouldn’t treat it as something casual. In 1 Timothy 5:19-20 Paul quite literally exposed and called out many false teachers/prophets by name and he said not only to identify and avoid them but also to REBUKE them. :)

Ok as long as you are going to rebuke them to their face then there is no problem. Talking about them behind their back is not productive

@@brodriguez002 it’s not “talking behind their back” it’s warning others to not follow them and what they say because it is against the truth of God. And if I had the opportunity to be face to face with them I would tell them they are in the wrong and ask them to repent and seek God truthfully. But realistically I’m not gonna be face to face with a lot of false teachers because I’m not considered important and there’s too many and a lot of them are famous and don’t meet with normal people. I had a situation in my own family. My parents are pastors. But as I grew older and began to study his word I realized they weren’t being correct in a lot of what they did and taught. And yes I love my parents. But I love God more than I love my parents. So I rebuked them in love but obviously I payed the price. I was kicked out of my home and faced alot of physical and verbal and emotional abusive moments. But if Jesus went through worse being completely without sin and being perfect and loving what makes any real follower of Christ think that they won’t also suffer the same way? If Jesus himself was called demonic and crucified by the people why do we think that we won’t suffer as well? Those who stand up for truth in love are hated by the world. So thinking we’re gonna be considered nice and loving by the world is unrealistic and not what the Bible teaches and it’s not because we’re not loving and nice in Christ guided by the Holy Spirit but because the world does not like to be told that it’s deeds are evil or to be warned of the judgement of God coming soon. And we should be angered by the word of God being twisted by people misleading many lost people who need to hear the gospel into having a completely wrong understanding of Jesus and what he did and what God says. That’s why Paul was so passionate and often “behind their backs” would tell the people listening to not follow certain people and even named them by name. You learn a lot when you dive into the Bible deeply and heavily and ask the Holy Spirit to convict you and guide you to all truth even if they go against your own feelings and understanding.

Bro just be like my bro, as soon as i start complaining about somebody to him..he just forcefully smiles and says nothing! Nobody rebukes me and exhorts me harder about being a chismosa then my bros silence. With that he tells me he is not partaking in it, he wont be a part of it and at the same times helps me back up. And after the silence he says something positive about them. I need be more like him

One thing I struggle with at the moment is finding friends. I’ve just stopped talking to everyone throughout the years after leaving college. I pray that God shows me the way. Any advice will be great :)

Excellent preaching. Talking negative about pastors to others is gossip. I realised this truth a few months ago. I was in discomfort with all the division in the church under the false teacher / prophet umbrella. It's all over KZbin and is often sarcastic self righteous and spiteful. I wrestled with God about it and I got the word gossip one day and it became so clear. This sister is speaking clearly. We need to make sure that we personally learn from the truth but this calling out on social media is crazy. If you have a problem with a teacher write or call them. If they don't want to respond have nothing to do with them. This doesn't mean they're automatically false. It's their prerogative to choose to respond. They are accountable to their leaders and to God-not every christian. But it means you've done the right thing. And definitely pray for them.

I’ve been blessed basically my whole life to have an amazing church filled with genuine christians. I’m just starting to realize that, at least since I started going back to Sunday service and youth group on Wednesday. It’s inspiring seeing how far you’ve come so far in your faith.
