I agree with you about Chanel , it used to be such a big score to get a Chanel classic but now type lost their allure.Theure are so many dupes that you almost feel silly wearing the brand. I honestly prefer unusual jewelry like from the Middle East or India or Greece . I think luxury has honestly become fast fashion apart from Hermes but even those can be bought as good copies.Bu t a great informative video Viv and im glad your hands are feeling better. I was almost sucked down the SLG rabbit hole, but thankfully I held myself back (for the most part lol). I got a purple lambskin jumbo instead of a medium and I’m soooo glad I did. And preloved for half the price! I’m 5’7” so a jumbo works for me better as well. No costume jewelry for me, either. And I have bought too much RTW, but I wear all of my pieces! Great video ❤

Great points here and I agree with all of them. I've been a huge Ferragamo fan for 25 years and have MANY bags and shoes - quality, understated, timeless. I find that I'm not even using my Chanels - too flashy even in my very affluent area and just not feeling good about them. My personal list, is suede bags as they get filthy, white bags as there is no happy ending for white leather, stupid high heels cos I am 54 and been there done that. Tiny bags as they make me look fat and I have 'stuff'. White silk clothing as I am too messy. Great subject. X

Hi Vivienne, dont we all learn as years go by, i am ok with my style, since i love various styles. They all me, what can i say😳😜, but it comes to costume jewelry, i sold my most, went back, to real gold and just got Mikimoto motion pearls diamond necklace. Its classic its not over the top, but nice elegant touch, but i just got sucked in by Chanel button choker, its kind of vintage looking , and i fall for it😂 i know i am going regret😳🤪. But no more earrings, brooches, i am not paying these type of money for just a name… Now belts, i have a few, but my fairly new Chanel black stretch one, with simple gold cc buckle, i love love. Its such a great concept. So easy to wear. I would get and probably will in other colors. Now what i am not buying is Chanel jackets, suits, i live in SF, and those you can barely wear. I sold most, and until my life changes , more travelling, or living in cooler places, i am not investing …. And yes no high heels, nor pointed heels. I am not about wear something just what looks good, and feet are crying. Nope no need for that 🤪. I need to buy less makeup. I kind of did good till the fall, this year, but when holiday collections came out, i need all😂 well i still did better than last year, but still need improve😳. Have a blessed day🙏❤️

The camera focuses on your eyes Viv, we can never see the products clearly when you do that...! Younger people will tolerate uncomfortable shoes...because they still can! I've got one Bally black quilted long zip around purse and it's so solid. No other. well...someone gave me a crocodile skin round coin purse and I can never seem to keep track of it. It's pointless especially because you cannot attach it to anything.... Wondered about getting a Balmain jacket, they are selling preloved on eBay but do I need it? NO! You need the occasion to wear it and you don't want to go into a situation looking snooty. I have a Bally black adjustable belt it's fantastic you can wear it on the waist or the hip. But I don't wear it a lot mainly because it's platinum not gold, and I'm wearing brown shoes a lot. So a non branded brown belt gets worn over and over with jeans and pants. Suggested theme for a vlog: which item do you have that you wear over and over and were a bit iffy about buying it at the time?
