Its all or nothing with barefoot shoe design. There needs to be some middle ground design with the important barefoot design features like wide toe box and zero drop. The worst is, many look like beach/swim shoes. The Tracker boots look very nice tho.

Slipons are not barefoot shoes, never will be. Part of the physics of feet requires laces to keep the heel from sliding forward in the shoe and taking away the toebox room: the whole point of why barefoot shoes are better for strong feet: protection without cramping toes or overpadding foot muscles.
