I love Chris. His books completely changed for the better the way I live my life. However, he says that (18:40m) when Germany invaded France, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway and so on at the beginning of WWII, all their populations were utterly 'subdued'. That is not the case. Quite the opposite. There was widespread resistance, fierce and heroic. French, Dutch, Polish, Russians, Greeks, Yugoslavians, Jews (remember the Warsaw Ghetto) and many others fought from the very beginning right down the bitter end. Check your facts, Chris - these people deserve all our respect and reverence. Heroic episodes abound - for instance, a gripping and true episode of physical endurance, psychological fortitude, altruism, grit and strategic acumen (Chris would love this potent mix) was on show at the early hours of a freezing February day in 1943, deep in a dark, imposing Norwegian fjord. Just check out the 'Norwegian Heavy Water Sabotage'. That's worthy material for a new book, Chris - and a good opportunity to pay homage to human selfless heroism: the Greek heroism, the Norwegian heroism, the French heroism, the Jewish heroism and so on and on...

Not sure how much Chris knows about IIWW but Poland kept fighting Germany for over a month and hard resistance was a total surprise for Hitler. Poland was also attacked by Russia from eastern border in the same time after Russia/Germany friendship agreement. No other country resisted Hitler that long until Russia turned on Hitler.

It is a shame that in a public speaking situation, speakers use bad and foul language. They are talking to a varied audience. Not everyone appreciates this kind of language. So, unfortunately I only listened to the first 5 minutes of the video, even though I am interested in the topic a nd in vivo shoes. I think I will stick to Xero Shoes. Such a shame.

I’m sure people who work for Xero know a few swear words. Plus, swearing is a sign of honesty in a person
