“Chained Up” era was one of my first comebacks with VIXX and it was such a vibe!! Part of the choreo they grab onto their chokers so for literally every live performance they all wore chokers and they mainly work suit blazers with no shirt underneath. They literally make chokers a whole thing in Kpop for the next few years and are seen way more now because of them. And I appreciate that 😂😂

watching you slowly fall in love with Hakyeon (N) in this video is so fun. he and Taekwoon (Leo) are my biases and are just so fun to watch. my eyes always go to Hakyeon during the dance practices. he’s so powerful but also so elegant in his dancing style.

At this point after the practice and live stages it's weird to hear Shangri La without the fan noises lol. Oh man it's been a while since I've watched that christmas version, the fucking shoe ZOOMING off screen still gets me.. Also Leo's usual suffering and Ken's shenanigans.😌

Poor Leo was SO TERRIBLY hung over during that Xmas "Chained Up" practice/gift. Miserably so, bless him. Another good holiday gift they gave Starlights was their rendition of Girls Generation (SNSD) "I Got A Boy". It was during "On And On" era, so some of that choreo gets mixed in a bit, but they manage it well except that Hongbin canNOT stop laughing. Same thing with the "Error" dance practice titled "Errored" (in which there are a bunch of really goofy Easter Eggs if you're paying attention). And yeah, I saw you wipe your drool away. When "Chained Up" first dropped, I'm pretty sure that Leo got ALL the Starlights pregnant with that move.

I love Vixx's choreographies for that exact reason, the storytelling! It feels much more theatrical compared to a lot of kpop choreos that are more focused on showing dance skills and synchronicity (which is also cool).

I'm not even through the first song and I'm in tears. I just want to say THANK YOU. VIXX was my first group that I fell in love with when I first got into kpop in 2016 and I've missed them so much. their choreos ALWAYS tell a story, it is part of who they are as concept kings. Chained up... yeah, it is about the different positions to chained up a person (BDSM reference, the album is about master/slave concept). Fantasy and Shangri-La were choreographed by the same couple, Keone Madrid and lmao... Christmas version Chained up, Leo was hangover... badly so.

VIXX went trough so many trials and although I'm not a dedicated fan, I'm so sad about it.. these guys know how to dance, have amazing vocals as well. Shangri-la must be my ultimate favourite and the classic Error that I stumbled by during my journey to kpop. I remember when chained up dance practice dropped and all the starlights were saying that it seems like jelpi hasn't paid their electricity bills lol Also ironically none of my top 3 vixx choreos made it here so I am really hoping you will do a part two? 1. hyde (the whole dual personality theme was done SO well in the choreo its literally one of my fav choreos in all of kpop) 2. voodoo doll with the prop that they stabbed each other with? iconic!! 3. eternity with all the time and clock symbols SO GOOD

I wished that you did watch the special performance of shangri la in the mbc end of the year festival it was huge stage and it got viral immediately and the reactions of the other idols was amazing and don’t miss the dynamite dance practice it’s so good , I hope you also watch the other special stages like in kbs song festival “scentis” they were a “Priests” and the same song in mbc song festival they were a “vampire scentis” And also they have a special performances stages with “got7” and “BTS” and “2pm” and “BTOB” i’m sure that you will like all my suggestions , enjoy with it

Love watching VIXX choreo because their choreos are like I am watching a Musical. Also I am not going to lie, but I die at the body rolls in Chained Up. I am thankful that it is just the Dance Practice for Chained Up because if it was a Live Performance of Chained Up with VIXX wearing suits and chokers I am goner. VIXX also a Greek God Special version for Dynamite, which has always has me dying in laughter.

They performed all these songs at their recent concert and it was interesting to see how they modified the parts and choreography for just the three. They cut out a lot of Ravi's parts but Ken adorably did a few of them. And it's true about Hyuk getting really good at singing. He took over the majority of N and Hongbin's parts and owned them. Dynamite dance practice is a must-watch for the hips alone. The normal version is hot and the dress-up version has the same chaotic energy as this Christmas video. Also, if you're wondering why Leo looks dead in that video it's because he was super hungover. There was also a concert where Leo chained up so hard he completely ripped open the back of his shirt, I'm sure fancams still exist of that one.

I recommend the dance practice of ERROR, VODOO DOLL, and G.R.8.U. Especially G.R.8.U, the dance of this song was choreographed by N.
