12:49 Hi!! Fellow art student here. I can comfirm that the background color (mostly the sky) was too bright and therefore draws far too much attention in an almost forceful way to that particular part. The trees almost got lost with the sky since the colors were too close in the color wheel. However, the barn saved most of the painting since red is a stronger color than blue and green when done right. Since the barn has more details, it naturally draws the attention. Overall, beautiful painting. Good grasp on perspective and lighting/shading but color dynamics could use a little more work. That's my little review/opinion :D

with watercolor, if you dont want the color to bleed everywhere don't wet ur paper, tape the paper down, it wont crinkle. spray the water on the paint don't pour it on (trust me, I find it helps with controlling how mutch water goes on the paint). there is special paper you can use but I just use normal printer paper, it works but you do really have to tape it down, using not a lot of water and you get a strong color, use a lot of water and you get a light color. i find normal paint brushes work, id make sure your brush is always wet while painting, it helps a lot for me. idk this is just what works for me. (I would LOVE to see you try and master watercolor in 24 hours tho)

Tbh I have done water colouring from when I was 10 and I'm 15 rn and I love it. Yes it's a pain in the ass when the colour bleeds into an unwanted area but nothing a dab or touch of tissue can't fix👍🏼. My speciality is sketching and tbh I recently started painting and it scares me. A little bit of perfectionist here and I can't handle that if I make a mistake and someone notices it, it stands out more in a painting and absolutely hate that😭. Props to professionals bro

9:59 hello 11 year old artist here and I've been doing water color ever since I tried it for the 1st time in 4th grade at my schools art club when I was about 9 and water color is hard but it gets easy when you get used to it like I remember my first time trying it I was scared like terrified cuzz as an over thinker I was like "what if it bleeds, what if I add to much water and it ruins the paper, what if I add to little water and it comes out too dark" and that just made me nervous as hell but when I actually started I realized i was worried because of nothing it was actually so fun and calming we keep our painting's to dry in the art room when we were done and the next day we got to take it home and I was so exited to show it to my dad and he loved it and I even asked him to buy me a water color set for Christmas which he did and i still do it now (little less that b4 tho cuzz I'm trying to try new art forms).
