And one more thing. I decided not to cut the screen around the strips and was able to remove it fairly easily.

Removing the reflector sheet is supper easy . Its so much better to remove it than to cut through it . Cutting corners isn’t good my friend but what do i know 🤷‍♂️

Is it possible to remove the TV panel without suction cups? That's not really an average household tool...

Just FYI to whoever is fixing their tv themselves. Make sure you put the reflector sheets back in the right order. I had them taped so they were in order but I put them back reversed and afterwords I was seeing every single LED on the light blue screen (background). So again, make sure that thick matt finished 'glastic' screen go first (closest to the LEDs). Everything is good now. Thank you Shop Jimmy for the video.!

I replaced my backlight and backlights all work! Great video. BUT when I reassembled, i now have a blank vertical area on the far left side about 3". I lost that part of the picture. any idea why? I reseated the 2 scan ribbon cables that were removed but to no luck. (I know it's not backlight related)

Not quite as easy as this pro makes it look. When I got to the part where you use a thin piece of plastic to separate the TV panel (screen) from the chassis, I split the screen. Game over.

This did not help me at all, with my 50-inch Vizio MQX. Ended up breaking the bevel, because it's doesn't come apart like that. So, I wasted money on parts, and then ended up breaking the damn screen trying to get the stupid bevel off. This was of absolutely no help. That bevel is one piece. Except for the bottom section. And it is freaking glued on there!! I'm just pissed off that I wasted any money at all on it, now. 🙄

Im a TV Repair Tech That is the dumest thing I ever saw cutting the Paper like that will give you light circles in the picture sorry The customer will not like it unless you like shadows and circles LMAO

Whats the voltage supposed to be at each strip... or how much voltage should I put on the individual strips to test?

I have Philips tv 60PFL6008H/12, standby light blink twice, no display. I check the standby voltage healthy 3.3v , Once I connect the MB cable and check the 12vsend it was intermittent from 12 to 0 vlot and viseversa, please do advice what is the issue

I have a vizio e55-e1 that turns on and the logo is displayed for a short time, then goes away. The backlight works and the audio also works, but there is no picture after the initial logo dissappears. I somehow enabled an audio readback of the screen and can navigate the menus. I'm not sure if this is a tcon board problem or a main board problem. Does anyone have ideas of what to check?

I had an lg that wouldn’t display pictures audio only sometimes after awhile it would show picture but 95 percent of the time it would turn on with no picture turned out to be bad capacitors looked up the model number found it cheap on Amazon soldered in the new capacitors and tv works like new instantly could look at that route for your self and determine if they are bad but not same model I had so not sure if that helps something to look into
