I waited to order LEDs until I made it through the disassemble process, to make sure I did not break anything and that I was confident I could put it back together. My version of the E60-E3 had some different nuances here and there as far as assembly but overall I was successful in tearing down. Just ordered the LEDs from ShopJimmy and will update when I finish the replacement. Wish me luck!!

​@@GodzilladadI just did this repair on the e60-e3. There is a lot of tape covering clips and screws and cables in this model that are not in the video. Other than the tape being a pain in the ass to get off I was able to fully repair the TV pretty easily. Looks good as new honestly.

Great video very easy to follow and I was able to get my screen looking like new. That's until I saw there was dirt left on the back of my display and hand prints. I took apart my TV again cleaned it off really good and put it back together. Sadly I chipped the top right of my display and now there is a blue line going all the way down the screen. Very saddened by this but besides that my display still looks sharp besides the blue line. Just try to say invest in some Nitrate gloves and you should be good to go.

Can anyone tell me if the plastic from the bezel (where the screws go) goes outside or inside the address board protector. I seem to have forgotten.

Thermal tape (mesh) adhesive tape, can be glued along the backlight? TV Samsung "40". When I replaced the backlight, I removed the mesh thermal tape, can I re-stick?

The thermal tape we sell is double sided so there is no need to glue anything. If you remove the thermal tape, we recommend replacing it for optimal thermal conductance. Thanks for watching!

You really ought to go into more detail on these videos. It’s obvious you’ve got a clunker tv there that you’ve already had apart. I’ve got all these black pieces of plastic falling out after I take the bezel off and then the address board protector comes off no where near as easy as yours
