I had an intermittent sound going in and out and eventually sound (to TV or soundboard) died. I used this approach to replace my D55U-D3 main board with a like part number off ebay that was advertised for a D58U-D3. So far it has worked perfectly.

Is there anyway I can message you a picture of my tv, it’s a Vizio smart tv 60 some inch tv, and at 720, the right first quarter of the screen has red and green dots and at 1080i it does it with half of the screen.from my research I believe it would be the TCON connector. Just need a quick confirmation so I don’t waste time or money.

55 inch vizio circuit board went out,can I switch boards from my 47 inch vizio its the same exact tv! Miss my bigger tv.

After I replaced my main board my TV finally powered on but it had vertical lines from top to bottom covering the whole screen. It wasn't doing this before my TV main board died. Any ideas? I tried software update and then factory reset. It didn't help.

The best place we found a purchase boards for our TVs is eBay. Unfortunately, you'll have to do your due diligence to purchase from a seller with a good reputation. Also make sure the board can be returned if it's not able to fix the problem.
