The main board typically manages your accesory inputs and outputs and houses the TV tuner. There are 3 part number patterns for Vizio Main Boards, all of which can be found printed on labels:
- 36##-####-#### or 38##-####-#### : Part number on barcode label
- Part number ends in 0150 or 0395
- The 12 digit number starting with 017 (e.g 0170-####-####) that is printed on the board is NOT your part number. Searching by this generic board number will NOT guarantee compatibility.
- CBPF###### : Part number will be printed on a barcode label.
- Take a close look at the characters on your label, as the letter I (i) and the number 1 can look very similar.
- TQ############ : Printed on label.
- TQ part numbers are actually partial part numbers and have a CBPF prefix that is not printed anywhere on the board or label. This prefix is used to identify parts within TV service manuals, and can also be used as ShopJimmy item numbers on our website.

i have a Vizio model #SV472XVT. bought from a friend said HDMI were fried. ( never worked) Tv has worked fine till about 2 weeks ago it shut off will not complete cycle to turn on. Orange Vizio logo comes on Flashes ( Orange & White ) for about a minute. ( Normal always done this) When you turn the tv on from Power button or remote The logo turns white and V logo on screen for about a minute then shuts down and starts all over again.

Of all TV brands the most trouble is Vizio, the government should make a review for selling fraudulent devices, and exensive prices.

I have a question my Vizio E70-C3 tv go hit by lightning through the cable box I replaced all 3 board I only get Audio and Video it the component mode none of the HDMI inputs work is it possible I got a bad board or it there something else I need to or fix?

I have a Vizio L32 HDTV 10A. After a storm, the HDMI port would not accept data but the analog port was fine so we watched Direct TV on those ports. Recently I tried to tune the local off-air channels using the DTV input from an antenna. When I access the menu and move right to the TV set-up, the screen goes blue and there are no options to scan the local channels for signal. I've look on your site for solutions but I'm not sure if the problem is the main board (3632-0012-0150) or the DTV input board (3320-0012-0187). Can you advise?? Thanks

I have a Vizio VX37lHDTV10A turned off at night tried to turn on next day nothing. no pic or sound orange light but does not turn white and have to unplug to turn off. Fuse on p/s board OK passing voltage and outputs of 3.3 and 5 volts but no 12 or 24 volts. replaced p/s board with the same results.No back light or any other light visible.

My VIZIO is a VP322 HDTV10A, Part Number 10123020022. The tv has worked fine since I had a power supply board replaced about three years ago. Now the issue is that when turned on, the tv will work for about 5 - 10 minutes and then the sound starts to fade to nothing. I have picture but no sound at this point. I have narrowed it down to the tv by various methods; the most prevalent being that when the tv is turned off for 2 - 3 minutes the sound comes back when the tv is turned back on AND since it is already somewhat warmed up almost immediately within 1 minute the sound fades again to nothing. Can you please tell me what part I would need to replace to fix this tv? It appears that there is only a mainboard and a power supply board. I have not yet cracked open the tv to look at it. I read somewhere that this might be a bad capacitor problem. Is it worthwhile checking that and replacing the cap? Please advise best method please.

I have a Vizio LCD tv model SV370xvvt that I bought in Dec 2009. I has been working flawless until this week. It turns on and starts up but the picture is not there until it starts to warm up. Horizontal lines are across the screen with no picture. As time goes by and it warms up the picture begins to show from the top down. sometime 1/2 a screen at the top and a freeze frame at the bottom. After a 1/2 hour or so there are horizontal lines that will move all over the screen, disappear move around and finally after about a hour go away but no completely. Help!! I did take apart seeing no capacitors blown or anything like that. Thanks

These people don't give any good in depth advice about repairs, they just say REPLACE THE MAIN BOARD TO EVERYONE. Just want you to buy from them and spend a quick 100 bucks for some board. When instead, they could identify which capacitors, resistors, and so forth go to which component so you could isolate the problem and switch one capacitor or something... instead of simply saying switch the whole board... 100 dollars please!

If I were these guys, Mario, I would want everyone to send me their tvs and charge you more than 100 dollars please. they are nice enough to isolate the problem to one of 3 or 4 possibilities. 100 bucks here or 30 on ebay. I would choose a screwdrive over a soldering iron any day. Besides, everyone says the same thing, replace the board, most likely because it is garbage.
