how far away from the camera can you be and still get function of the camera? I'm in one corner of the house and 50 feet away on the other corner , can the signal make it through walls well?

On a neighbor's recommendation, I purchased one of these. The set up instructions are horrible. The individuals who designed it presupposed, it seems, that all those using it are savvy tech geeks and not luddites, like me. I had to rewind the video numerous times to try to see what was being shown, even then, sometimes I had trouble figuring it out. In sum, good product but installation instructions are extremely sub-par.

does anyone know how to turn off the lights? i tried all settings and when it dectetes movement if turn on the lights ....???? if i cant turn off the lights i have to send it back. were is the option in the menus?
