Today is 75th anniversary of V-J Day. 15th August 2020. It's good to see Prince Charles attended a event with old veterans along a piece of a rail line from the River Kiwi in Thailand despite the coronavirus. Lots of celebrations in this movie but today little happening cos of the virus.

Even though for America the war against Japan was the really big one there's been hardly any commemoration of the 75th anniversary of VJ Day. I think I have an idea, but does anyone have a notion as to why not?

India, Burma, Colonial Territories, where, the brunt of the Japanese attack fell? Lol, according to this paternalistic grandfather, the Pacific War was just some gradation of an organized mop up operation.

I've not seen any heroes and victory... In those wars i just seen, fools, and losts...

Why call people who served fools and losts? Yes some wars were not needed but ones in ww2 definitely should be respected and thanked
