The reason that the TVA took Sylvie as a child... remember in Thor: Ragnarok when Thor told Valkyrie that he used to play with his Valkyrie toys and dream of being a Valkyrie. The same thing was happening here with Sylvie. At that moment, Sylvie decided that she was going to be a hero rather than a villain. Without Loki/Sylvie as a villain in that timeline, the Avengers would never form and the Sacred Timeline would not happen there. The TVA couldn't allow Sylvie to change her mind even as a child.

Is interesting to me how Silvie's nexus event was to just for a second wish to become an valkyrie instead of a mischief goddess. And the nexus in lamentis was Loki finding someone who understands him and falling in love for the fist time,only because he was meant to be alone forever.

Loki and Sylvie bonding shouldn't have triggered the alarms because of the apocalypse, that was the whole plot point in the previous episode about how she hides from the TVA. I'm willing to overlook it though, just because I liked the show so much.

Thor survived the power stone on his head,the same stone destroying his ship,the empty space and the radiation of a star (without using any power) Also the ironman suit tolerated the impact of a moon. Loki has been smashed by hulk and walked completely fine while being arrested minutes later. Also in this series he has surpassed his own power each episode showing abilities he never used before, pushing back up a entire building. And he also explained he can cast exact copies of himself. So nothing assure they both together wouldn't be able to survive by protecting each other. Or maybe even Loki would've sacrifice himself to save Sylvie... However the TVA doesn't control every timeline but only one in particular which they prevent from branching. And as Sif said,he was supposed to fell alone forever. This bonding was before of he supposedly dying. And I said supposedly because even when I mentioned he could survive that in many ways, Loki is a character who CANNOT die. Even if his body does,his conscience can come back in different bodies (Lady Sif is one of them)

You missed the end credit scene. Marvel rule number 1: Always fast forward and look for end credits scene. Again the TVA doesn't affect the timeline. On the contrary they watch over the timeline. Whatever they do at the TVA with themselves or whatever they do there doesn't affect any timeline. Unless of course they go to a timeline and do or change stuff there.

I always let the credits play out, regardless of what I'm watching, even when I'm in the theater. Not so much for post-credit scenes, although I never miss them this way, but just to chill, listen to the music, and contemplate what I just saw for a moment, maybe talk about it if I have company. Highly recommend doing this, just be sure you have an empty bladder before the movie.

So the plot does indeed thicken, Sylvie is quite a good foil for Loki too, not too much certain over the romance element I must admit though but Loki would be a 'I'd date me' kinda person Still, first time we see Sif again in a long time, not since Agents of Shield in fact. Plus the reason she's mad is taken from Norse myth, though at a greater scale: Loki actually shaves Sif bald in the myth, and to stop Thor from murdering him he charges the Sons of Ivaldi to make a wig as a replacement, as well as two other gifts (Skidbladnir - Freyr's flying boat - and Gungnir - Odin's spear). Incidentally that also led to a bargain between Loki and the dwarves Brokkr and Sindri/Eitri (in MCU likely Eitri) which led to the creation of Mjolnir. The pruning was clever though, really got us moreso than the 'Timekeepers are robots' thing

A big problem for Loki has always been his self perception. No matter what he says or what act he puts on he doesn't love or believe in himself. I have the tendency to interpret his relationship with Sylvie as one representing self love and acceptance, something he has always lacked. It is also a big step in his breaking away and being more than what the tva has dictated for him, which created the nexus event in that moment. The complexity of Tom Hiddleston's version of Loki being this complex mix of charming, intelligent narcissist and broken individual who has shown the capacity for heroic capability is most interesting part of the character.

Yeah I don't know what was going on with Episode 3. They don't even mention the bombing of this sacred timeline. And Loki's power level changes from scene to scene. And then they completely break their own rules by saying that love creates a branch in the timeline, even though they would get killed a few seconds later. It's like they switched to a secondary team of writers who didn't know what they were doing.
