Your messages on deliverance and Christ living in us are one point. The SDA institution has many problems you really need to mention. It says something when you recommend people don't look into it themselves. Kind of makes people want to search it out. Right? What are your honest thoughts after contemplating comments or corrections from above and below? Are you going to make a second video? 😊

@@seetsamolapo5600 The key identifier of a cult is where the leader/s are controlling & can't be challenged when their theology/doctrine isn't Biblical. Stuff to watch out for is those that continually say "Do not touch the Lord's anointed" & also "the Lord says". The leader/s has an exclusive relationship with God where God only speaks through them. The leader/s are given way too much honour, almost "worshipped". Emphasis on the supernatural is also high on the leader/s agenda. The leader/s live in luxury compared to their adherents. Many cults seem Christian, but are not. If a person is followed & elevated as "untouchable" the chances are high that you are dealing with a cult. Jesus isn't given His rightful place and the Holy Spirit is elevated above Jesus the Christ. You will be surprised how many cults there are. They can be multi-national or local in nature.

Revelation 14:12 'Here is the endurance of the saints/sanctified/saved, those who *keep The Commandments of GOD* and faith in Jesus Christ.' (The moral law, 10 commandments, which were written in stone by the finger of God. Written in stone means permanent, immutable, unchangeable.) Paul doesn't have the authority to change the 10 commandments, nor did he. Only God can give such a command, which he never did. Pauls writings has been misunderstood, twisted, and taken out of context as Apostle Peter said in the New Testament.

Hi Vlad, thank you for the video, it really is eye opening to see the outside perspective of our church. I am an SDA, and I'd like to explain some of the points that you've made against our doctrine. I also struggled in my faith, in the strictness of EGW and the seemingly legalistic way that we have structured our church. I did consider leaving the church/exploring other non-Christian religions. Having explored outside doctrine, contemplated in prayer for God to show me His way and not my own, I have come to the conclusion that the SDA church holds the most truth in current times, although some corruption does seep in, but God has a people. As I read EGW's writings in earnest, not to justify my own feelings but to search His words, I found that her writings are truly complementary to the Bible, and thus we do follow the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. You mentioned that we added some texts, but you never mentioned what, so please don't throw misinformation around. Also, I'd like to say that I believe in the investigative judgment because I believe that while our God is true love, He is also just and He is our avenger. (Psalm 94) Without the investigative judgment, people wouldn't take His law seriously. Jesus said plainly in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Why do people say that we are not under the law anymore? I consider this to be Satan's greatest deception. Of course, we are justified by His blood and stand faultless before God when we accept Him. But obedience is the work of sanctification. Our flesh struggles when we seek to obey Him, and only by His grace and strength can we actually have a new created heart. In 13:38, you say that its an outrageous thing to deny someone's claim to being saved. If EGW's words stop there, then you're completely right. But she's pointing towards the deeper implications of those words. Please read the paragraph right after. "Those who accept Christ, and in their first confidence say, I am saved, are in danger of trusting to themselves. They lose sight of their own weakness and their constant need of divine strength. They are unprepared for Satan's devices, and under temptation many, like Peter, fall into the very depths of sin. We are admonished, “Let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall.” 1 Corinthians 10:12. Our only safety is in constant distrust of self, and dependence on Christ." We will DEFINITELY fall into the trap of self reliance, and we are lured into a false sense of security. So please, anybody who reads this, at least attempt to obey Christ, know how inadequate we are, and let Him take our lives in full surrender. We are not a cult, but there are some people who fall into legalism, thus painting the church that way. I believe that in every denomination and even among those who know not Christ, there are His people, seeking for Him, waiting for His deliverance. In Colossians 2, Paul is saying that to avoid the act of legalism which is human, and to submit all things to Christ according to His will and commandments, which is divine. (v18, 19) Every man is convinced of something, and while on this earth, we may be misguided, so our convictions be of God, and not of man. That is Paul's warning here. I am still learning to cling onto God, and to surrender my life to Him. And I believe a close and personal study of the scriptures is warranted by every child of Christ. We are called to have a personal relationship with Him. How can we love Him if we do not know Him? Seek Him, and ye shall find Him. May all who read this be blessed.

I agree with everything you said. I like Pastor Vlad but i felt this one was a very misinformed video that has a negative impact on people and the church. I am adventist, born and raised. I also took a similar journey in my faith. I tried many churches but after all of it, I discovered that Adventists are the only church that has deeper bible teachings. Firstly I disagree with him saying the Adventists believe in the writings of Ellen G white being the same level as the bible. We as Adventists believe that the bible is true Word of God and nothing can be added or subtracted to it. Ellen G White has not only written books on Prophecy but also health, church leadership, christian living and lifestyle and relationships and marriage among many other writings. Her writings shed more light on what God through his scripture has said. Her writings like The Great Controversy have been instrumental in understanding the deeper prophesies Daniel and Revelations to mention a few. Secondly, Ellen G White’s emphasis on a vegetarian diet is inspired by the idea of going back to the original diet God intended for humans. She says in her writings that she never felt that its her duty to say people shouldn’t taste meat under any circumstances but her principle was based on 2 things. 1) Preserve the best health 2.) eating food that is most nourishing. In the church veganism or vegetarianism is a choice thats encouraged and supported if you wish to become one. Many people in the church eat meat and dairy products. It’s nothing thats condemned. Thirdly, the part on the investigative judgement is very misinformed. Without even going into the bible on this one, who goes to jail in this world without going through the courts, isn’t everyone innocent until being proven guilty? Through what process? Adventists DO NOT BELIEVE that you are judged by how well you followed the commandments of God especially observing the Sabbath. That is false information. I believe that we believe that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. And because of this we were made righteous through the son Jesus who died for our sins to give us unwarranted mercy & grace. The law is the same, whether you break the sabbath or kill someone, in the eyes of God you all have equally sinned for there is no better sin. I am unable to explain the investigative judgement part as its something i actively need to learn myself to speak on it and not mislead people. But i felt that what Pastor Vlad said was far from the truth and as a man of God he should have gone deeper into it researching. Lastly, i don’t believe telling people who is right and wrong is the right approach to follow especially coming from a man of God. Churches are established based on their understanding of the bible. This is why there are so many church doctrines and groups because none of us truly know how to interpret everything that God said perfectly. I agree when you say that the church has so many people who have become legalists. But we need to be discerning and learn to separate the things that are of God and the things that are inspired by men. Some people will stand strong on the Sabbath based on their own personal convictions and unwavering faith & understanding. But at the back of it all, ask yourself if it’s what Jesus said? God uses people to spread his word but at the same time we as people are vessels with shortcomings. Elijah was a prophet called by God, but in character they called him an angry man because of how he approached issues. So lets be aware that we are all actively trying to find Jesus and doing the best we can. To some people the end time message is their call to salvation, to others prosperity gospel is their own call, some people will sing praises into heaven. For people that love deeper study the SDA approach works for them. I think this conversation would have been better understood if you had approached it from experience through going through the actually teachings or having a conversation with church leadership. Drawing conclusions from short quotes found on the internet was a bit careless sorry to say. So having this large platform of followers from different sects, and telling them not to follow the church is being a bit controversial. I don’t remember God telling us to judge others especially touching his anointed? It deviates from God’s plan of Salvation.

I am not SDA, but of those I know they the most conservative genuine people who I CAN CALL CHRISTIAN...the many are walking in delusion. They twist scripture to suite their mouth and bad lifestyle. I wish I could join your Cult, becasue Jesus was the biggest CULT LEADER of his time. His doctrine was unherad, yet written. SAME THING today, nothing new. I am a bible reader for.many years, and SDA belief is the closest to the BOOK. NON OTHER.

I started injecting heroin when I was 15. I was addicted to fentanyl, meth, alcohol, steroids, porn, sex, etc. I went to 10 jails and 5 prisons. When I got out, I was baptized at an SDA church and I never went back to drugs, alcohol, porn or fornication, all glory to God! God changed the desires of my heart and now I want to live by every word (Matt. 4:4). I like that the SDA teach the 10 commandments as written in the Holy Scriptures and also their children are really well behaved. Revelation 14:12 says "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." The Sabbath being on the seventh day (Fri sundown to Sat sundown) was actually a commandment of God that points back to the one who made heaven and earth (Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 20:11). Revelation 14:7 calls us to worship the one who made heaven and earth. I still love you though Vlad and have been blessed by your videos 🤗❤. I'm just an unworthy servant who was once totally lost and out of his mind but I've been set free from addiction and fear of death hallelujah. I'm ready to die for the name of Lord Jesus (Rev. 14:13). Interestingly to note as well is that Pharisees were not rebuked for keeping the law. The Pharisees taught strict observance of the law but didn't actually keep it and added man-made traditions which they commanded for doctrine and rejected the commandments in order to keep their traditions (Matt. 23:2-3; Mark 7:5-13; John 7:19). They also trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others (Luke 18:9). Nevertheless, Jesus taught that the commandments were good to keep and teach others (Matt. 5:17-19). Love you all. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen 🙏

Also, my SDA Pastor insists that we who believe in the name of the Son of God may know we have eternal life (1 John 5:13). Furthermore, in Galatians when Paul is talking about the law and circumcision, my understanding is he's not talking about the moral law, the 10 commandments, which were written in stone by the finger of God (Deuteronomy 4:13; 9:10). Written in stone means permanent, immutable, unchangeable. But I'm just an ex-junkie, ex-tweaker, ex-porn addict that by the grace of God is not dead. Worship God who created heaven and earth. Worthy is the Lamb 🙏. Love you guys.

@@UnworthyServant777 you are absolutely right. Paul was not talking about the moral law in that passage in Galatians. He was talking about the division inside the church because of the differences in the jewish and gentile beliefs. gentiles were not allowed by jewish leaders to be seated together with the jews because they are not circumcised. and based on their beliefs, uncircumcision is unclean. This is the law that paul meant, the law of circumcision from the abrahamic law, that they might not return to it, else they are fallen from grace, because Christ already died and keeping that law is abandoning Christ sacrifice on the cross.

I came to know Jesus Christ through a teacher who was a Seventh Day Adventist. He showed exceptional kindness and love to me. I think through him I felt the love of Jesus. He said often he can't wait till he die and see Jesus in heaven. So this make me hungry to know who Jesus is as a teen. I am a street evangelist now and I also have a healing ministry. I always thank him for igniting a God consciousness in me. I am not a SDA but a lover of Jesus Christ now.

I was never a SDA. I just went to a private middle school ran by SDA. My sister who went to same school said she came to know Christ through SDA school. I never heard in detail her testimony though. I think the SDA doctrine didn't affect me other than my teacher's special kind attention to me that affected me and created hunger in me to know Christ.

My family converted to Seventh-day Adventism after I grew up in a Catholic household, where I had little knowledge of Jesus. One day, a Seventh-day Adventist missionary visited our village and began holding Bible studies with my parents each weekend. They were eager for truth and explored various denominations to see which aligned with Scripture. Ultimately, God led them to the SDA church. Although some relatives disapproved of our faith, God never forsook us. My father, who was once an alcoholic and drug addict, is now a transformed man walking in the light. He became an elder in our small local church, and my parents continue to find joy in serving God.

When the Adventists and Armstrogites and the JW's go to a funeral, they only see a dead body and they say, that is all there was. Like rich man's brothers (Luke 16:19-31) , they only saw their brother's dead body and knew not that he was judged immediately after his death, and his soul went to Hades and was tormented "in this flame" . The Adventist's deny Christ very words and teach the exact opposite of Christ. Moreover, they have made it their mission to tell the whole world they won't be judged immediately after death and the wicked have nothing to fear nor the righteous to have no reward. . The Adventists and Armstrogites and the cults seize upon every place in the Old Testament where the destruction of the wicked is promised on a physical level and then say it mean annihilation, just as the rich man's brothers did not know of the torment of the wicked themselves. While every reader of the Old Testament scripture and prophet who wrote them were NOT annihilationist at all. Just as the author did not believe in annihilation of the wicked so the reader did not as well. They knew that when God had destroyed the wicked in the flood or Sodom and Gomorrah, God had intervened in human affairs to send those wicked directly to hades to be tormented because there was not so much as to be an allotted time to repent. This is thoroughly and explicitly shown in the teaching of Christ that "Moses and the Prophets" (that includes every verse of the entire Old Testament) had taught the torment of the wicked immediately after the death of body. And this is not concealed at all in the Old Testament. *Therefore, all those who use the Old Testament scriptures to support conditional immortality are condemned by Christ.* Because Christ taught the Old Testament taught the exact opposite of conditional immortality. Isaiah 34:9-11 is no different which parallel to Rev.14:9-11. In both cases the scripture proclaims the torment of the wicked, and picture which is painted is that of unending torment. And, like the carnal flesh which only sees with is fleshly eyes, it does not have the mind of God to see with HIS eyes, even though he is told. And, therefore, he cannot see nor understand the scripture. So, it was with the story of the rich man and his brothers, who knew not that his brother was being "tormented in this flame" . So, the rich man wanted to send someone back to his brothers to warn them. But what says the scripture, "THEY HAVE MOSES AND THE PROPHETS TO WARN THEM, LET THEM HEAR THEM" but, like the Adventists and Armstrogites, they don't not believe either! So then, the scripture says as if speaking of the Adventist, "NEITHER WOULD THEY BELIEVE THAT IF ONE CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD TO WARN THEM" . And so it is with the carnal and stubborn foolhardy Adventists and Armstrogites under their false prophet. Nonetheless, in Luke 16:16-31 Christ makes it very plain that NOT ONE SCRIPTURE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT REMOTELY TEACHES THE NON-EXISTENCE OF THE SOUL OR SOUL SLEEP FOR THE WICKED BUT TORMENT DAY AND NIGHT. Likewise, the carnal minded Adventist seize upon every place where the destruction of the wicked off the earth is spoken of when it speaks of the person's body and not their soul. Yet every reader of the Old Testament truly understood that that was not the end of the punishment for the wicked and that their soul continued to be punished. But, the fleshly minded Adventists and Armstrogites only see what is visible to them and not believing God or Christ about the torment of the soul of the wicked immediately after death as Christ and the Apostles taught. The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's are just like the rich man's 5 brothers! They ONLY saw that he was physically dead and knew NOTHING of his UNSEEN TORMENT IN THE FLAME. Therefore, like the carnal minded The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's refuse to hear Christ's words about the unseen torment of the rich man in Hades. Because they can only see with the flesh even when Christ warns them of what will happen to them also after death. The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's refuse to believe. Thus, Christ answer them, "Neither would they believe even if someone came from the dead to warn them. And so it is with these fools. In Revelation 14:9-11, we are told that anyone who worships the beast and receives his mark “will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. "The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's and all the wicked preach that no one will suffer* *torment forever and ever* A complete denial of the teachings of Christ and the Apostles. And they do so because they have been taught that the true Christ is "Satan" , while it is Satan himself, that leads them to deny the explicit words of scripture. And, because they disbelieve the scripture, they FIGHT against Christ and his Church, as an agent of the Wicked One. And what do you suppose the beast is telling the wicked who worships them? That if they do, they will be tormented forever and ever? Who would then follow them? The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's will believe the beast when He tells them there is no HELL AND NO TORMENT, THEY ALREADY HAVE BELIEVED AND FOLLOWED THAT GREAT FALSE TEACHING. Then what do The Adventists and Armstrogites, the Atheists and the JW's and the wicked do? They call Christ "Satan, a Monster, a Tyrant" because they have been taught by a false prophet to hate the just and righteous punishments of Christ upon the wicked. The carnal mind only see what is fleshly and not as Christ and the Church taught. Adventism is fully carnal. When they see the wicked die, they only see the death of the body and not the torment of the soul. This is exactly what happened to the rich man in Luke 16:19-31. Any 3rd grader can read the story and see the end of the matter, but not an Adventists and Armstrogites, because they have been WILFULLY blinded by their carnal mind and Ellen G. White. Like Sodom and Gomorrah, the people in Edom are still burning and in torment. That is what Christ, and the Apostles taught. The Adventists and Armstrogites are so carnal you can only see what is earthly. You are fully prepared to go to hell yourselves for corrupting the gospel of Christ and the Apostles and charming the wicked. You all have sent all your followers to hell and many more millions who did not repent with your Atheistic gospel of soul sleep and annihilationism. Get ready, because except you repent, you will find yourself there shortly. Why do the Adventists and Armstrogites and their like, so despise the eternal punishment? Because they know they are evil and rather than repent of their evil, they find it much easier to deny the explicit teachings of Christ and Christ Himself, than to repent. A righteous man does not fear the just punishments of God. One day, the Adventist will be like the rich man in Luke 16 wishing you could send someone back from the dead to warn your brothers “Lest they come to this place of torment” where they are!! It’s happened MILLIONS of times already to Adventists and Armstrogites!

Thank you for your balanced opinion of Seventh Day Adventist. I am a Seventh Day Adventist. I just wanted to post a few thoughts on things that you mentioned are different. 1) We do not put Ellen White on par with the Bible. She herself said, “But I do not ask you to take my words. Lay Sister White to one side. Do not quote my words again as long as you live until you can obey the Bible. When you make the Bible your food, your meat and your drink, when you make its principles the elements of your character, you will know better how to receive counsel from God. I exalt the precious Word before you today. Do not repeat what I have said, saying, ‘Sister White said this,’ and ‘Sister White said that. Find out what the Lord God of Israel says, and then do what He commands.” “The more we look at the promises of the Word of God, the brighter they grow. The more we practice them, the deeper will be our understanding of them. Our position and faith is in the Bible. And never do we want any soul to bring in the Testimonies ahead of the Bible.” “In regard to infallibility, I never claimed it; God alone is infallible. His word is true, and in Him is no variableness, or shadow of turning.” “When God's word is studied, comprehended, and obeyed, a bright light will be reflected to the world; new truths, received and acted upon, will bind us in strong bonds to Jesus. The Bible, and the Bible alone, is to be our creed, the sole bond of union; all who bow to this holy word will be in harmony. Our own views and ideas must not control our efforts. Man is fallible, but God's word is infallible. Instead of wrangling with one another, let men exalt the Lord. Let us meet all opposition as did our Master, saying, ‘It is written.’ Let us lift up the banner on which is inscribed, The Bible our rule of faith and discipline.” There is more that I could share but I think the point is pretty clear. 2) God’s moral law is not the law of Moses. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty”? (James 2:10-12) Why would Christ come and die and pay the penalty of transgression if He would just abolish His law? A rejection of Gods moral law is a rejection of the perfect sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Jesus says, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21) Jesus tells them “I never knew you”. “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” (Read Matthew 15:3-9) “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty”? (James 2:10-12) For further study READ: Matthew 5:17-19; Matthew 15:3-6; Mark 7:6-9; Mark 2:27,28; Matthew 19:17-22; Luke 16:7; Mark 10:19-21; John 14:15; Romans 3:31; Romans 7:12; 1 Corinthians 7:19; Romans 7:22-25; Romans 8:1-4; Revelation14:12: Revelation 22:14; James 2:11,12; 1 John 3:4; Roman 7:7; Roman 13:9,10; Genesis 2:1-3; Luke 23:54,56. 3) We teach that death is an unconscious state. The Bible calls death a sleep. The living soul cease to exist in the since that it is no longer a living soul but a sleeping soul. The breath of life creates a living soul. I would like to add in regard to our belief about salvation. I believe there’s a misunderstanding with what Ellen White was trying to say regarding salvation. Yes we have salvation now because of Christ but we need to keep Christ living in us. When we turn and go our own way we loose that salvation. But God is patient and merciful and the moment we repent and turn to Christ He is there with His salvation. Salvation is never apart from Christ. We must maintain Christ in us, and this is not a works experience, it’s a love relationship experience. When we love someone supremely we want to obey, we want to do what pleases them, we trust them. When we trust Christ we are saying, Your way and not my way, your thoughts not my thoughts. It is dying to self daily and having Christ live in us, the hope of glory. Salvation is not a one time deal, once saved always saved. It is there for us all the time through the death of Christ but, each moment we have the freedom of choice to say I want my own way not yours Lord. Then Christ through His spirit pleads with us and woos us back to Him. If we respond He is there with forgiveness and His salvation.

I have been in a Pentecostal movement almost my whole life. Used to be a huge critic of SDA church based on tell tales on KZbin. But the day I started to prayerfully read the word of God. I started to understand scriptures very well. Then I come to realise that God hallowed the seventh day and blessed it. I repent and started to attend the SDA church. Paul was talking about the ceremonial Sabbath and other ceremonies, the movement of apostles didn't abolish Saturday keeping but they started to meet daily not on a Sunday only.

No amount of keeping the commandments, tithing, joining a church, doing good works, getting baptized, etc., could ever make someone perfect. The good news, the gospel (I Cor. 15), is that Jesus has already done the one work that was necessary to reconcile us to God when he shed his blood on the cross, died, and rose again. Like the thief on the cross, all anyone needs to do is repent of their sins and put their faith in what Jesus has already done for them. Ask yourself why there are thousands of churches today. While we all use the same Bible we believe differently. Man has incorporated into the church believes and traditions that are not founded in Scripture thereby the church lost its power to preach the Gospel effectively. Millions overcome by sin and guilt ask which of the thousands of churches on earth teach the unadulterated Gospel. The Book of Revelation comes from God Himself and so are the Three Angels to reach the whole world and those lost and searching souls before the end comes. In Revelation 14 : 6 to 12 the Gospel is seen here being preached by angels. But not literal angels for these are but symbols, angels mean human messengers, a people, a movement, a church in the end time. Please read and pray and may God bless your searching.

When I was a teenager, I had become a 7th day Adventist. I refused to acknowledge Ellen Whites message or her role in the Adventist faith. I said Bible, no Ellen White. As I struggled as a teenager, a lady gave me a book called Messages to young people. It helped change my like. It gave me guidance. I noticed how every page directed me to Scripture text, back to the Bible. It expanded my understand of a text I overlooked. After finally reading the book, The Lord brought a question in my mind. Who wrote the book? I was shocked to my core to discover, that I was reading a book written by the simple messenger of God, Ellen White. It was funny, and telling. Her message from God was a very little light to leading to Greater light {Bible}

When I came of age, I started soul searching and Messages to Young People was the one that transformed my life. I got saved at a 7th-day Adventist summer camp in my youth. When I came home, I decided to read Ellen White's _Messages to Young People_ . Within short order the joy and assurance I had in accepting Christ at my summer camp born again experience was quickly replaced with guilt and shame. After all, it doesn't take much to blow it again in our walk with the Lord, and EGW was quick to point out "young people's" various short comings and rebellion. I began to question if I was really saved at all and struggled with doubt from that time forward in the Seventh-day Adventist church *UNTIL* I finally left the denomination at the age of 19. Don't kid yourself about Ellen White and her supposed status as a prophet of God and great spiritual writer. Her writings have left generations of people and entire denomination to question their status with Christ.

Agreed. I’m an SDA and I love pastor Vlad. However, he needed to stick with the actual principle of the church and not what some people in the church believe. That’s like me judging the church based on the actions of others and that’s not right. There is a set standard for the SDA Church. Her writings are the lesser light pointing to the greater light. That’s like me reading pastor Vlad’s books. It points me to truth found in God’s word. It’s not equal to, but should I say no I don’t believe his writings? Because it’s not Hod’s word? No because it lines up with scripture.

Sola scriptura means that the scriptures are the only infallible rule of faith and practice for the Church, keyword here is infallible. The SDA church has two sources of infallible authority, her writings are one of them. "I have always been as a broken vessel; and yet in my old age the Lord continues to move upon me by His Holy Spirit to write the most important books that have ever come before the churches and the world." EGW SELECTED MESSAGES, BOOK 3 PG 76 (3SM 76.4) It seems like the Bible didn't make the list of the most important books that have ever been written but her writings did. Those who resist the messages of God through his humble servant, think they are at variance with sister White, because her ideas are not in harmony with theirs; but this variance is not with sister White, but with the Lord, who has given her work to do." Fundamental beliefs number 18 which states her writings speak with "prophetic authority." Do you know what else speaks with prophetic authority? The Bible does.

I never read the Bible up until six years ago, I eventually came to the conclusion after much study & prayer that the SDA church is a movement for these last days to bring people back into bible based truth. With that being said there are many wonderful Christians in different denominations. The Lord has His people working in many different places in these last days. I would highly recommend and encourage people to watch a series that's truly eye opening, it's called "Total Onslaught" it's by Walter Veith, definitely a game changer. God bless

I have read the entire Bible 41 times and never found the teachings of the SDA church. Where does the Bible say that Jesus Christ started the Investigative Judgment on October 22, 1844? Where does the Bible say that Jesus Christ entered the Most Holy Place on October 22, 1844? Where does the Bible say that the door to heaven was shut on October 22, 1844? Where does the Bible say that those who keep the Sabbath will be killed once the National Sunday Law goes into effect? Where does the Bible say those who worship God on Sunday will take the mark of the beast? Where does the Bible say that the seal of God is keeping the Sabbath? Where does the Bible say that God will destroy with fire those who worship him on Sunday? How did the first angel preach the everlasting gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people back in 1837-1844 before the telephone and the internet came about?

Try reading Revelation 14 & you will find the 3 angels' message, if you are too stubborn to understand them that is not the SDA's fault. Galatians was all about false teachers trying to tell the new converts to Christianity that they had to keep the Jewish ceremonial laws. There is no official SDA belief that says any of our works can save us although obviously, we teach that believing in Jesus's power to save will change how we live. "Christ in you" is an expression that the Apostle Paul used & it would defy comprehension if you think that people could have "Christ in them" & not notice a difference in their lives. I know that Christians live the Romans 7:15-20 experience but that is mostly due to them not allowing Jesus full control (1 Cor 10:31) in their life, this happens because people like you present a false gospel of salvation without responsibility because it suits your carnal heart & is a reliable income stream.

Thank you for your views.I am SDA and I like that we're encouraged to debate and question things ,but I can say without doubt that the SDA church is not a cult.I became SDA at age 40 after listening to a lot of Christian denomination teachings and came to the conclusion that the SDA has sound doctrine.

I can say after examining the SDA doctrines the SDA are not Christian. Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community. Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. That’s what I wrote too and the commandments is what Jesus said love GOd above all and love each other as self, written with the finger of GOD (Exodus 31:18) 7th day to keep it holy is NOT Jewish and Isaiah 66 shows in the new world we WILL whoever makes it come before GOD to worship. My freedom is in that my freedom is not that I can work and serve god money or god materialism ?? It’s I am free to come before my creator and spend a day in union to worship him. I totally agree and I pray those who want to know the true will see and try the sabbath 7th holy day and see if they feel more at union with his spirit.

We are to rest on the sabbath and keep it holy. That Bible verse that you’re speaking of doesn’t say what day of the week to attend holy convocation however, there are scriptures on which days to gather one of those days of command gathering is Pentecost, the Jews to stay gather, but they just have cheesecake and typically debate politics rather than the call to holy convocation.

If we are to work from Sunday to Friday, then go to church on Saturday, the sabbath.

When I was SDA, I was never free. I always had fear in my heart and I knew it that I was going to hell if I died or when Christ showed up because I fell short of the standards of the law taught by the SDAs. But the moment I met Christ, everything changed and I knew it with whole of my heart that I was Christ's, I now have the assurance in this present life and the life to come because of what Christ has already done for me. It's all about Christ and not the standards of the law that we must meet.

Its a struggle for you to understand God, requires lots of time, energy and research. Thats the fight of faith. the devil's tried stopping you loving Jesus more. Once I found out how to surrender all to Jesus, reading the Desire of Ages, by Ellen White all about Jesus. When, I got to the bit on everyone who sins is controlled by Satan, cruel Slavedriver. I nearly got a heart palpitations. That frightened me more than anything I've ever seen in the Bible. It says unless you Surrender all to Jesus daily, you're still a slave. Giving your will over to aJesus its like renewing your marriage vows to live together forever. Then I gave up trying to be perfect (making fruits only the Holy Spirit has) amazing blessings started everyday

SDA don't teach that you go to hell when you die & they teach that only the imputed righteousness of Jesus can save us. You could describe your comment as "contentions" as used in the works of the flesh in Galatians 5 so I suspect that you have bigger problems to worry about than thinking that we don't feel free.

I said, the things they teach like keeping the Sabbath and law made me fall short of the Salvation of Christ because I couldn't keep them. I was found wanting for not fulfilling them. But when I met Christ, He told me that, I wasn't saved by the observation of the law or Sabbath but by His faith and Righteous which was imputed on me

I attend SDA in Louisiana US and Ellen White is rarely cited and has certainly never been pushed onto me and barely even been recommended to me to read or follow. In fact I would say close to half of the words spoken during every sermon are scriptures read straight out of the Bible! Compare that to all the other Christian churches! It drives me nuts sometimes because I don't know well enough where each book in the Bible is so I'm not able to keep up with the pastors to follow with them in my Bible. I've been to SDA churches in Cherry Hill New Jersey, Montreal Canada, Panama City Panama and Windsor Colorado and they have all been pretty much the same. The people at every of these churches have been the most kind and accommodating folks you'll ever meet.

Brother Vlad, as a Seventh-day Adventist, I appreciate your humble assessment of the church and pray you may continue to consider the matters that you have discussed. I agree that there are disagreements between the evangelicals and SDAs, though they are not without foundation. From Genesis to Revelation, the Lord has always included investigation with judgment and mercy. Also, it is not for His own knowledge (seeing that the Lord knows all things), but for the knowledge of His creation that He holds an investigation. Our Father in heaven does not desire a forced confession of His justice, but a sincere one. This is the very purpose of "the books" being open before His throne (Daniel 7 and Revelation 20) and how "every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." Amén! I hope this helps clarify some misconceptions about what we believe. May the Lord bless and keep you!

Eph. 1:4 God never needs to investigate anything ever. To say otherwise is blasphemy, breaking the third commandment. From reading the Bible we know that Enoch, Elijah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David, Stephen, Moses, Lazarus, Daniel, the thief on the cross, etc., were already in heaven long before October 22, 1844. Jesus Christ never started the Investigative Judgment on October 22, 1844. When I die, I will immediately be with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 💕 2 Cor. 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I don't know why you felt it necessary to create this video, but listening to you, you did represent them well in other areas, BUT you also included cardinal and fundamental errors in the characterisation of SDAs. Adventists have created videos about themselves and I would encourage you to hear them explain themselves. The mere comparison of a global and fastest-growing denomination as a cult, is purely mischievous and belittling. I am glad I am not the only one who sees it.

God the creator of heaven and earth and waters is the same God we worship as the Jews and Adam and Eve who were not Jewish in the creation of the world who made holy the seventh day on the seventh day of creation. Hey Vlad, I'm an SDA and I love watching your sermons. You are truly a man of God. I can't entirely agree with your statements about SDA's but I respect them. one of the things that you may be confused about is towards the end of the video, you said SDA's keep the law of Moses. We keep the law of God, Moses didn't write the 10 commandments God did. First God spoke the 10 commandments (starting in Exodus 19:19), then God provided the tablets and He wrote the 10 commandments (Exodus 31:18). Last, when Moses broke the tablets, Moses provided the tablets and God wrote the 10 commandments again (Exodus 34:1).

I am an SDA and I do believe that we are saved by grace through faith alone and not works. Keeping Sabbath is done from a heart of gratitude and taken as a gift from God, but it doesn't save an individual. Every church and denomination has things that they misunderstood God on, and yours too, Vlad.

I'm looking forward to being a Seventh Day Adventist. I've been searching for help i didn't know i needed since 2019. My preacher helped me on the road to spiritual healing, whereas none of the other churches I've attended these last 5 years were unable to help. He spoke God's Truth into my heart. He preaches what he believes, which is the Word, it doesn't Come back void, whereas, I'm sorry to say, it did in other churches. I am so blessed and grateful for the love & healing God has bestowed upon me. The Truth has & is still setting me free. John 14:15 KJV [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. His Word is in my heart. Thank you, Holy Spirit We need discernment to separate the false teachings from the Truth. Thank you Jesus!!

Yes, this is also somewhat my testimony. I’m so glad I was introduced to the SDA faith. They literally preach straight from the Bible, but everyone on the outside and some in, always wants to bring up Ellen White because they don’t like her.

I am an adventist. It's definitely not a cult, and there are spirit filled believers there. But I do agree with Vlad on the issues of doctrine. I have been there long enough, and I've concluded that some of the teachings and traditions are simply not in scripture, and bad doctrine might not make you a cult but it can certainly limit your potential in Christ.

Romans 6:14-15 We are no longer under the Old Testament law. We are under the law of Christ. There are 53 commands of Christ. Not one of them mentions keeping the Sabbath. Jesus Christ did command, Be ye therefore perfect. Have you kept the commandments perfectly?

But I said to the Lord, give me your peace as a confirmation so I know is true.That day I keep the true Sabbath of the Lord. I feel so humble when it comes to the Sabbath sitting at Jesus feet and being blessed as God bless the Sabbath. And I learn about the book of Revelation and Daniel is very interesting and opened eyes for me,because I don't know any church teach or study the book of Revelation and Daniel. The true Sabbath of the Lord is very important to God,that's why is in the Ten Commandments. From the beginning I thought the SDA is a cult and I didn’t want to go there until the spirit of the Lord guide me to the true Sabbath.I will never argue or judge another person of what they belief in the Bible,but I always encourage people to seek the Lord, study his words and pray. I got saved at a 7th-day Adventist summer camp in my youth. When I came home, I decided to read Ellen White's _Messages to Young People_ . Within short order the joy and assurance I had in accepting Christ at my summer camp born again experience was quickly replaced with guilt and shame. After all, it doesn't take much to blow it again in our walk with the Lord, and EGW was quick to point out "young people's" various short comings and rebellion. I began to question if I was really saved at all and struggled with doubt from that time forward in the Seventh-day Adventist church *UNTIL* I finally left the denomination at the age of 19. SDAs. Don't kid yourself about Ellen White and her supposed status as a prophet of God and great spiritual writer. Her writings have left generations of people and entire denomination to question their status with Christ.

Keeping or observing the weekly 7th day Sabbath really shouldn’t be controversial at all. Here’s why ... It is this very special day that our Creator rested on, blessed, hallowed and sanctified (Gen. 2:2,3; Exo. 20:11) at the creation of our world and asks us to keep holy and celebrate every week as a memorial of His awesome creative power. This day that God calls “My holy day” and that we His people should call a delight and honorable (Isa. 58:13) clearly means a lot to God so it should mean a lot to us. He enshrined it in the very heart of His great 10 commandment moral law which is the only part of the Bible that God directly wrote with His finger on tables of stone signifying its permanence (Exodus 31:18). The weekly 7th day Sabbath was so holy and precious to Jesus that He not only taught the people what was and wasn’t lawful to do on this day (Matt. 12:12) but He encouraged His followers to pray for decades after His death and resurrection that when they needed to flee from tribulation they wouldn’t have to do so on the holy Sabbath (Matt. 24:20). And then again Jesus' grief stricken disciples after His crucifixion knowing His sacred regard for the Sabbath which they shared postponed the embalming of His body until after the Sabbath. As Luke reports on it many years later in Luke 23:56 "Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment." This confirms that the Sabbath is indeed 1 of God's commandments in His "holy, just and good" law (Romans 7:12). This blessed day is so special to God that He promises when He recreates a spectacular brand new world for the redeemed of all nations, “all flesh” will come together every Sabbath to worship and praise Him (Isa 66:23). So let’s in loving obedience to Jesus our God and Creator enjoy and celebrate Him by receiving the special blessing He offers everyone who keeps His holy day (Isa. 58:14). The weekly 7th day Sabbath is a wonderful gift to all of us because it's special, set apart relationship time with our Creator and Redeemer which is why Jesus said "The Sabbath was made (created) for mankind" (Mark 2:27). And if you have any doubt that Jesus wants His saved by grace people to obey His commandments including the 4th commandment 7th day Sabbath out of love for Him and because they are saved you only need to read the following verses: John 14:15 - If you love Me keep My commandments. Ecclesiastes 12:13 - Fear God and keep His commandments for this is the whole duty of man. 1 Corinthians 7:19 - Keeping the commandments of God is what matters. Matthew 5:19 - Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. 1 John 5:3 - For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not burdensome. Revelation 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 12:17 - And the dragon was enraged with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her offspring who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 22:14 - Blessed are those who do His commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. Not one of them mentions keeping the Sabbath. ***** Ellen White had many false prophecies. She failed the test of a prophet. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 We are commanded not to follow false prophets. The apostle Paul preached on the Sabbath to non-Christians. Christians were not worshipping Jesus Christ in a Jewish synagogue on the Sabbath. God bless you.

I was born and brought up in evangelical church L but I always had so many questions. Now I attend the seventh Adventist church, and listening to you on this video, has raised my eyebrows. There are a few things I disagree with you. Firstly, SDAs use H. White teachings just like the evangelical can use a pastors book or prophecy. But they don’t think that her writing are superior than the Bible, NO! 2. SDA strongly use the Bible scriptures when preaching. They do not make their own bibles and they strongly recommend people to use the KJV as it’s seems to be an original version in the market. They preach repentance. have some questions to ask you? 1. Have you attended service at any SDA church more than 10 times to see for yourself? 2. Wasn’t the Ten Commandments written by God himself on the stone? Then is Paul superior than God? 2. If Paul said we are enslaved by the law as you said and am assuming the 10 commandments is included? Should we commit idolatry, blaspheme, kill, covet, lie, disobeying our parents? Etc Then if we can keep all the other commandments, why don’t we keep the sabbath commandments which is also mentioned all throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, many verses, that Says we Need to keep God’s commandments. So what you are saying is that we observe 9/10 commandments. The 4th clearly says.” REMEMBER to keep the Sabbath day Holy. And it’s the only commandment that God said remember. Should we ask ourselves why God gave this directive? If you go through the 10 commandments, the fist 4 is all about God and the last 6 is all about how we should live with our brethren’s. Also I would recommend you to read the book, The great controversy by Helen G white. It has very important insights. Just like evangelical churches, some are prophets and so do SDA believe that HG. White was a prophet. Also, I would recommend you to read the Roman Catholic news where they admit that the worship day was changed to Sunday worship, but that is discussion of another day. He needed to lay aside his own interests and pursuits for one day of the seven, that he might more fully contemplate the works of God and meditate upon His power and goodness. He needed a Sabbath to remind him more vividly of God and to awaken gratitude because all that he enjoyed and possessed came from the beneficent hand of the Creator

Today my mind was already on fire, and I actually thought about making a video as well when I saw how much incorrect information he shared about SDA beliefs. Starting with the fact that he doesn't understand the difference between the Ten Commandments and the ceremonial laws of Moses. It's sad to see pastors leading millions of people into deception by simply tweaking a few things in the Bible and not studying as they should before speaking...

Adventist here. I found Jesus in this denomination and I love my walk with Him. My church rocks. We have a number of amazing ministries including prison ministry. Our members love each other and support each other through life’s ups and downs providing courage to continue to share the gospel. Anyhow, is Adventism a cult? I have many family members in evangelical churches they have some cultic behaviors but I don’t think they are a cult. Adventism is viewed as high demand by some. Usually those are members that need to find Jesus and have the peace of salvation. My assessment is no, it’s not a cult. Of course I’m bias.

I’m not going to say I believe for certain that a Sunday law will occur or not, but I do believe that followers of Christ will show the fruits of the Spirit. I will also say that no denomination has a completely clear picture of eschatology. Just look at the Left Behind series debacle and popular theorists like David Jeremiah. These prophetic interpretations are very unbiblical and easily dismissed with appropriate hermeneutics. However, these faulty eschatological approaches don’t mean they are a cult.

@@PrairieChristianOutreach I concur that eschatology is difficult to understand, that is why I think it is wise not to land to heavily on just one interpretation of it. This is, of course, what the SDAs do. They believe that they have eschatology all figured out. This is why they have for years and years made their fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord out to be the malevolent bearers of a supposed coming Sunday law. Because of this, SDAs label other members of the Body of Christ with a variety of derogatory names such as *"the Nominal Churches", "Babylon", "the Daughters of the Whore"* , and either *"Apostate Protestantism" or "Apostate Christians"* (often both). Unfortunately Adventists throw around these terms with little or no thought as to what they are implying about other followers of Christ. Regarding the label of a cult. I ask *"Which is worse, a cult or an apostate?"* Recall that the term "apostate" means to have turned ones back on Christ and left the faith. An apostate is in a most abominable place, denying God and renouncing Him. Understand that *one can be a Christian and be in a cult, but one CANNOT be Christian and be an apostate* . Thus Adventists, whether they know it or not, are totally debasing other Christians when they refer to them as apostate. Therefore this name calling and labeling by Adventists is much worse than the label of a cult, and it deserves pushback and rebuke. As long as SDAs keep referring to other Christians in such negative terms, the label of cult will undoubtedly still be applied to the Adventists.

@@NoSundayLawComing Fair enough. I personally don’t use such terms nor do I feel it is appropriate to use them for fellow Christians. Not to give excuses, but much of this language was derived from 19th century restorationism and it has been retained by many in the faith. One can also blame the evangelistic methods of the church which I also don’t favor. I will say that such language and methods are less and less a part of the church. In the end, we are all walking with Christ. I do feel many theologies Adventists hold are very helpful for our walk and are worth sharing. I also believe the greater church needs to continue to seek Christ, learn more of Him, and prepare the world for His return.

The "Revelation Seminars" slowly build this wall of animosity up, week by week, lecture by lecture. I don't think that Adventism will ever have any true sense of fellowship with other Christians as along a they keep putting forth an end time scenario where other believers are the ones that bring forth the Sunday law.

SDAs are not born again Christians. They're just religious people. The word religious or religion comes from the word religio, which means, back to bondage. In order to be born again, you must do what the scripture says in Rom.10:9-10. Basically, one must accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by confessing Jesus as saviour and making Him Jesus as Lord in one's life. They believe they are saved and are christians by keeping the sabbath and observing the law. Law covenant is of a different dispensation altogether where as we are under a dispensation grace ( Eph.3:2 ). Jn.1:17 also says , for the law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. In Heb.3: 5,6, Moses was described as a servant but Jesus is mentioned as son. In John, we are told, grace came and His name is Jesus. Eph.2:8 says, for by grace are you saved through faith. You are not saved until and unless you received Jesus ( grace ) as Saviour and Lord by believing with your heart and cofessing with your mouth ( Rom.10:9-10 ). You can't keep the Sabbath and the law and still trying to receive God's grace, because Gal.5:4 says, Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by law, you are fallen from grace. That means, there is no anointing and grace available for whosoever is keeping the law.

1st Timothy 1:5-7 8-10, you can keep the law if you find yourself here. Verse 5 says, now the end or completion or fulfillment of the commandment or law is love ( agape , God kind of love ). I don't have to keep the law or the sabbath. I however identify myself with all other born again Christians in verses 11- 14.

Heb.8:6 says, but now hath he ( Jesus ) obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he ( Jesus ) is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Again remember, Jesus is called a son while Moses is referred as a servant. But then, 1s Timothy 1:7 through Paul by Holy Spirit, couldn't be more clear. That is where the followers of the SDA are.

According to my knowledge SDA Church doesn't follow the law of Moses as u say, but we believe that the law written by God is still binding to all, 1 John 3: 4. Please note the difference, the law of Moses is what Paul is talking about in Galatians, but the law of God is internal, and will be used in Judgement see James 2:8-12.

To observe on Sunday is to be under the Pope's Mark; Catholicism boldly proclaim that Sunday is the Lord's day because THEY wanted it to be (The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1957 p50) ; which is not based on Scripture and which breaks the 4th Commandment where God tells us to worship Him on His Day which is the Sabbath (Exo 20:8-11).l, Catholicism BOASTS that protestants have no good reason for worshipping on Sunday - they ought to keep Sabbath as Saturday if they follow their Bible (John Gilmary Shea, American Catholic Quarterly Review 1883). One cannot compromise, its either Sunday under Catholic law or Sabbath under God's law , even God warns us we cannot serve God and mammon (Luke 16:13)

Though the SDA church has achieved many good things (hospitals, schools etc), the underlying fact that, like the Catholic Church, SDAs accept an extra-Biblical source of authority (EGW), means they can never be truly identified as fully Christian. That EGW promoted and, in some cases, originated unbiblical doctrines, clearly shows how dangerous this stance is.

I like most of your teachings like on the rapture issue! I am not an Adventist ! But as you said I believe our salivation earned totally by Jesus but Grace given to us to keep on going our salivation in holly way ; also with adventists I agree with some of their teachings like keeping sabbath & 10 commandments I agree with them! Jesus said that he didn’t come to abolish the law but , to keep it ! I think doing videos like this takes a lot of guts and pride to think you know everything and understand everything and therefore can determine whether a group of people is a cult or not and this is for every preacher who ever thinks to make such a video. Be very careful because at the end of the day ONLY GOD knows the truth about His people and He has His children scattered all over the earth so such a video is careless lest it be that you are poking the Lord Himself sitting on the judgement seat of who is and isn't a cult. This video is a waste of time in my opinion but I believe God might use it to spark an interest or curiosity on your audience to visit the Adventist church since He can turn anything to work for good so kudos for advertising for th SDA but also Vlad, you don't know everything, making such videos is arrogance I can not even imagine. Focus on teaching the word of God people need it more than such prideful videos.

It is simple and easy to prove the Seventh-day Adventist church is a non-Christian church. Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community. Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

For example, this guy is claiming that the teaching of the first and second resurrection with a different of one thousand years is not bibilical or Christian doctrine yet Revelation 20:5-7 is indicating otherwise. It is important to read and understand to avoid being deceived. He is also claiming that individuals go directly to heaven when they die by quoting 2 Corinthians 5:8 on 10:55 , of which I'm doubting if he really understood the verse. He has to give an account of Revelation 20:5-7.. it's indicating that there will be first and second resurrection. Where the first resurrection is for the saints. And if a person goes to heaven immediately they die, what's the point of the first resurrection? There is special time set for the resurrection, first and second. Better if you partake the first. People do not go to heaven immediately after they day There are a lot of errors in his presentation if we are to use Bible as the referece Acts 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so Each and every doctrine he has put I place is backed up by the Bible

The purpose of Luke 16 parable was to meet the people on their grounds. The doctrine of conscious state of existence was held by many of those who were listening to Christ's words. Christ knew of their ideas, and he framed His parable so as to inculcate important truths through preconceived opinions. He used the prevailing opinion to convey the idea He wished to make prominent to all. The idea behind the parable is, during our time of stay here on earth, grace of God is offered to every soul. But if men waste their opportunities in self-pleasing, they cut themselves off from everlasting life. There is no any other offer of grace to be offered to them after death. By their own choice, they have fixed an impassable gulf between them and their God. Christ desires His hearers to understand that it is impossible for men to secure the salvation of the soul after death.

The Bible is written in harmony, and cannot mislead someone seeking to know the truth. Do not just clap for these presenters, check if what they are saying is in harmony with the whole Bible, not just simply basing the whole of it just on a single verse which they do not understand at all.

Thanks for the video. I was evangelized by a seventh day adventist and I am a seventh day adventist😊 My church and I don't hold Ellen G White's book on par with the bible. That would definitely be incorrect if we did. But we hold it as an extra book for christians like your build fire book, that is good to read if u want to but is definitely not as necessary as the Bible. I'm a SDA because It's my choice to keep the holy day on the same day that christ did and I dont think its a sin for anyone to keep it on sunday. We're all worshiping and following the same Dude🙌🎉.

Really? I have many quotes where the writings of Ellen White are placed equal to the bible. Here is just one of many I have: “While Seventh-day Adventists do not consider the writings of Ellen G. White to be a modern addition to the canon of Scripture, *we do recognize in them the same quality and degree of inspiration as that of the Bible writers, and consider their teaching authority to be equal to that of the Bible-for Seventh-day Adventists.”* R. All Ten? or just 9 or less like most of the popular Christians practice today. Please verify your Bible text, Matt 22:40, "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."KJV. Including the law of Moses, "all the law"=Ten Moral Law, the Ten Commandments, the Loving character of God, His Holy Law, Everlasting, Perfect, convicting the hearts. The two greatest commandments that Jesus told were simply a the summarized version of the Ten Commandments, having the first four in relation to God, and the last six in relation to fellowmen. The keeping of the Sabbath is the fourth commandment, and keeping it is one of the proofs of our utmost love to God, Who himself who commanded it.:)

SDA here. I enjoyed this presentation. Very close, well researched. More than anything, I appreciate your willingness to engage. God bless you in your pursuit of the truth and may your congregation prosper. Hiram Edsons supposed cornfield epiphany was added 30-40years after the event. Crozier was the guy who studied scripture to understand what happened in the wake of the great disappointment. It was prophecied that the little book of Daniel (Daniel 12) would cause bitter disappointment at the time of the end (revelation 10). We made our mistakes and were humbled thinking the cleansing of the sanctuary referred to the second coming. The no one knows the date all makes sense now in hindsight. But if you can appreciate this-no other spiritual revival in modern history has been as successful in uniting Christianity that generally persists being separated by interpretation methods. We owe Miller that Interdenominational unity upon scripture is possible. The Sabbath rightly understood is a beautiful addition to the Christian experience. I highly recommend experimenting with Its observation. We say ‘Happy Sabbath’ because ‘happy salvation by grace through faith alone day’ is too much of a mouthful. 😂 In essentials: unity, in non essentials: liberty, but in all things: charity. Hello Vlad and Team. Former SDA member here. I’m not former because they are NOT a cult. Former because I believe them have some other teachings that are not Biblical. Regarding your stream I’d like to add the following ideas. Colossians 2:16-17 Paul was teaching new believes not to let those in Colasse judge THEM about keeping Sabbath. Paul kept the feast from Leviticus 23. Why would he teach not to keep them and keep them himself (Acts 20:26)? Paul circumcised Timothy in Acts 16:3. The rabbies taught to join them you had to be circumsied. Paul was teaching the Galatians they had the order wrong. Circumcision doesn't save us but Paul (A Pharisee from the tribe of Benjamin) was NOT opposed to circumcision considering he completed it himself. Paul was not teaching one thing and doing another. I think the common teaching of Galations requires a deeper look into the audience Paul was addressing and why.

I'm not sure what specifically you are trying to say about circumcision but here is where paul mentions it in his other letters. "For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation." Galatians 6:15 "So if an uncircumcised man keeps the law’s requirements, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?" Romans 2:26 "For In Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love." Galations 5:6 "For there are many rebellious people, full of empty talk and deception, especially those from the circumcision party." Titus 1:10 "Was anyone already circumcised when he was called? He should not undo his circumcision. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? He should not get circumcised." 1 Corinthians 7:18

@@wclk Hello. Galatians 6:15 - Whether circumcised or uncircumcised it doesn't mean anything unless you accept Jesus. With faith you are a new creation. The physical act of circumcision doesn't save you. Romans 2:26 - The Rabbis believed because they were God’s chosen people they were automatically saved. Being God’s chosen people counts for nothing without faith. Please first things first. James 2:18 Have faith and because we have faith we do good work which involves keeping Gods Statues. Galatians 2:6 Agree, the physical act of cutting your flesh doesn't save us. Titus 1:10 - The circumcision party was a group of rabbis that thought you had to circumcised to begin fellowshiping the the synagogues. See Acts 15:20 and 21. The council concluded with three requirements to fellowship. THEN verse 21 says go hear the teaching of Moses every Sabbath; not Sunday. 1 Corinathians 7:18 - I agree with that. That doesn't mean Paul was opposed to circumcision for ALL believers. Again, Paul personally circumcised Timothy.

Isaiah 66:23 Says: From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come to worship before Me,” says the LORD. The 10 commandments are so important that God had to come down from heaven to deliver them Himself. During the millennium reign of Jesus Christ the Sabbath will still be kept. Matthew 5:19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Be very careful of anyone who teaches you to disregard God's commandments.

I went to a 7th day christian school growing up, I also go to 7th day church very ocassionally. They are beautiful caring ppl, who just want to be obedient. While I dont care to quote or have any interest in ellen G white (im sure her writings are very edifying but so is billy graham etc etc) i do believe in keeping sabbath as it is plain as day in the bible that were supposed to keep it...blows my mind how we justify otherwise. Paul wasnt against keeping sabbath or holy days, he simply didnt want these laws to be a barrier to gentiles following Jesus. Gods laws didn't suddenly become void. He says his law is a shadow of whats to come!

EG White did indeed add to and modify biblical texts. For example, the Bible states that Eve picked the fruit from the forbidden tree, while EGW writes that the serpent picked the fruit and handed it to Eve, who then bit into it and fell into sin. Only humans were created in God's image, and only they have hands to pick something. The serpent did not have hands, so it is false to claim that it picked the fruit and even handed it to Eve. I am not an Adventist, but I have read several of EGW's books to compare them with the Bible, and in each of them, I found statements by EGW that cannot be substantiated by the Bible. This means she added things, and many Adventists reference and quote such statements, even though they are nowhere to be found in the Bible. That is why I am very cautious whenever an Adventist preacher publicly quotes EGW. Thus, it is insincere and hypocritical to appeal to the slogan sola scriptura while, on the other hand, almost no Adventist sermon exists in which her name is not mentioned or her writings are not quoted one or more times.

While the exact page number can vary between different editions, in many editions, it appears around pages 52 to 55. Here is the excerpt: "The serpent plucked the fruit of the forbidden tree and placed it in her hand. Then he reminded her of her own words, that God had forbidden them to touch it, lest they die. He told her that by eating the fruit she would attain to a more exalted sphere of existence and enter a broader field of knowledge. He himself had eaten of the forbidden fruit, and as a result had acquired the power of speech. He insinuated that the Lord jealously desired to withhold it from them, lest they should be exalted to equality with Himself. It was because of its wonderful properties, imparting wisdom and power, that He had prohibited them from tasting or even touching it. The tempter intimated that the divine warning was not to be actually fulfilled; it was designed merely to intimidate them. How could it be possible for them to die? Had they not eaten of the tree of life? God had been seeking to prevent them from reaching a nobler development and finding greater happiness." ELLEN G. WHITE WRITINGS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Genesis 3, we read how Satan speaks through the serpent as his medium, abusing it for deception to lead Eve to eat the fruit, but nowhere does it say that the serpent itself ate the fruit. EGW claim that the serpent ate the fruit and gained the ability to speak. This is also not a biblical text, but part of their personal ideas and addition. EGW, in all of her writings, adds A LOT of details that are not found in the Holy Scripture, and some of them are even clearly contradictory. For example, she writes that Noah preached for 120 years that God would send the flood, but this contradicts the Bible, because in (Genesis 5:32) it says that Noah was 500 years old when God revealed the flood to him, and when Noah was 600 years old (Genesis 7:6), God sent the flood. So, it was 100 years, not 120! How could Noah have preached for 120 years about the flood, when only 100 years passed from the day of God's revelation to the coming of the flood? And all Adventists have adopted this unbiblical claim, repeating it like parrots, even though there is no biblical basis for it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the other hand, after that, God mentions 120 years, but not in the context of the flood and Noah, but in the context of the revelation that due to mankind's immense wickedness, the human lifespan would be shortened to 120 years. Therefore, EGW pulls the 120 years out of context and attributes them to Noah, where they do not belong. The Holy Spirit would certainly not have allowed someone to write such a mistake. Just above the first quote about the serpent and Eve, EGW herself condemned any addition to the Bible or contradiction with the words: "Everything that contradicts the Word of God comes from Satan - we can be sure of that." For these reasons, I reject her as a significant prophetess. The Holy Spirit is the only inspiring authority, and since He is perfect, He has not forgotten to point anything out in the Bible and does not need any human supplements. ---- The Bible itself says: "Every word of God is pure" (Proverbs 30:5) and "If anyone adds to this, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book" (Revelation 22:18).

TY for making this!! I grew up SDA but was too young to know doctrine. In my late 30s I went back to church but evangelical. Its been hard to undo the things I was taught growing up but I'm getting there!!

Good for you so now because you are saved by grace. Does this give a licence to brake the law the ten commandments. My friend if you kill and steal and committ adultery and brake the fourth commandment by worshiping God on Sunday instead of Saturday as God commanded you will not enter God's kingdom. Listen to what Jesus Himself said. "NOT all who say unto me Lord Lord shall be saved but those that have kept my Father's will (the commandments) Also Jesus said "If you love me keep my commandments " simple as that if you think you can wilfully brake the commandments and think 🤔 you can enter heaven you are fooling yourself BIG TIME.

When the Adventist is presented with Biblical evidence that the New Testament Christian is not under the Law, the Adventist responds: " Well, I guess we can kill, rob, steal, rape, etc." This line of "Adventist Reasoning" is insightful to the true Christian because it shows the lack of Biblical knowledge by the Adventists and further shows the un-biblical indoctrination of Adventism which has teachings which contradict the Bible. Does the Bible teach that in the absence of a written law from God, man can and will live in unrestrained passionate sin? Anyone reasoning as such has an astounding lack of Biblical knowledge. The Apostle Paul deals directly with this appalling ignorant Adventist teaching in Romans 6:1-2: _“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? (2) By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?”_ The Author of Hebrews likewise addresses this issue in Hebrews 10:26: _”For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins”_ Lastly, the Apostle John also addresses the issue in 1 John 3:6: _”No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.”_ Adventists often say they believe the Bible and Bible alone. If that were true, they would no advance such an un-biblical deficient line of reasoning, but then again Adventists are not Christian and as such: I Corinthians 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

You contradicted yourself at the end, you said we are not saved by keeping the law of moses, but we are saved so we can keep the commandments of God and the words of Jesus Christ. The 10 commandments were written on stone and put inside the ark, the law of moses was written in a book and stored in a pocket on the side of the ark, on the outside. You dont seem to know the difference between the two. The sabbath commandment was inside the ark on the tablets of stone, number 4. Remember you said we are saved so we can keep the commandments of God, obviously this is a commandment of God, that mankind needs to keep and observe. There were other sabbaths that did fall under the law of moses, which were the high sabbaths, feast of weeks, feast of tabernacles, day of atonement, etc, kinda like how catholics have holy days of obligation which a catholic must attend to as well as their sunday sabbath, these were the shadow sabbaths that were done away with under the law of moses, not the 4th commandment weekly sabbath written by God by his own finger on stone and kept inside the ark. Stop with the word salad of the scriptures. Another thing just because you believe in Jesus doesnt make you always saved. In the story of the woman that was caught in adultery, Jesus told her to go and sin no more, under your version she could go back to adultery and keep her sinful life and not have to worry about hell, she would be going to heaven with Jesus, cuz once saved, always saved. Jesus came to save us from our sins, not to stay in them. Hey im adolf hitler i believe in Jesus now in 1943, im saved, but i will keep on murdering millions of people. People forget, Jesus is also judge, there has to be some standard to judge someone against and thats His 10 commandments, doesnt paul call that the law of liberty. There is probably many lgbtq plus people claiming to be christians, but God calls that lifestyle an abomination and he destroyed sodom and gomorrah for it. Part of being a christian is acknowledging your a sinner, and turning away, doing a 180, from that, that you once did, not staying in it. That would make God wishy washy if he didnt have a standard to judge by

Thank you so much for your sentiments. I have always believed that SDA is a cult. My main argument with their keeping of the Sabbath is not documented in the holy scriptures but needs human thinking. When Moses broke the two stone tablets, everything was lost and none of the campers knew what was written except Moses and Joshua. Now, when God wrote the law on the new stone tablets, (Deuteronomy 5), He amended commandment number four. This time, He made them rest because of their Egyptian bondage. Yeshua said, Sabbath was made for men. Unfortunately, SDA bought the super glue and repaired the first stones so that they observe the Sabbath based on the repaired tablets not the amended which only requires the Israelis to rest from Egyptian slavery.

Your comment is spot on and the different reason given to the Nation of Israel to observe the sabbath is worthy of mention. By the Way, no one ever observed a Sabbath as a memorial to creation. The Exodus 20 tablets did not exist but a very short time and never even made it to the camp. There were destroyed 9Ex. 32:19), then Moses entered a 40 day period of supplication (Deut. 9:18; 25), then at the end of the 40 day period, God tells Moses to come back up to the mountain to receive the written tablets again (Deut. 10:1). The exodus 20 tablets were broken and are today on the desert floor. No one followed the directions of the Ex. 20 tablets, the did follow the direction of the Deut. 5 tablets and those Deut. 5 tablets were the only set to make it into the Ark.

I attend a seventh day Adventist church currently. I don’t agree with most of their exclusive views, I differ from most Christian’s since I believe the sabbath isn’t useless. However I continue to attend because this church has a fire for Jesus I can’t find in any other church near me

The end times message or everlasting gospel (3 Angels Messages) of Adventism is a fake and false gospel and because it is not biblical, it is twice cursed. No one who proclaims a twice cursed gospel is Christian: Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, *let him be accursed.* As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, *let him be accursed.* The specific individual gospel messages of these three angels are not in Revelation 14. Mr Vlad, I honor you as a man of God, I trust that you are led by the Spirit of God, just as he led the Millerites were led to the great disappointment (1844) in order to reveal the beginning of the investigative judgement. Firstly I need to sharpen your view on the point of legalism and the Sabbath. We do not believe that we are saved by keeping the law but we are saved by grace and grace alone, the grace of God teaches us to live godly lives (Titus 2:12) and the 10 commandments when perfectly obeyed through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit they illustrate a godly life. So God leads us to obedience and removing the 10 commandments will lead us to undefined obedience because for obedience to be called obedience there has to be a law to be obeyed or disobeyed, the law of GOD is the 10 commandments. The only defiition of sin in the bible is; it is the transgression of the law (1John 3:4) if the law is no more then there is no sin, unless one can invent his own definition of sin and somehow hopes that it's what every Christian thinks to be sin by the indwelling Spirit of God which does not point back to the bible so that all Christians can easily agree on what sin it since we are Sola scriptura. Secondly I know that you do not have a problem with the 10 commandments because you know they are good, you agree we shouldn't have other gods, nor take the name of God in vain, honor your father and mother, do not kill, don't steal, don't covet. I think the only commandment which non Adventists have a problem with is the fourth commandment; which is the Sabbath commandment which points to God as the creator of the heaven and earth (Exo 20:11), this commandment was first alluded to in Genesis 2:1-3 when God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it and hallowed it and rested in it, it was given before there was Judaism therefore it was to be kept by our sinless parents in paradise. God also brought back the Sabbath to the Jews ( Exoduses 16) before he instituted the 10 commandments in Exodus 20 commandments. The Sabbath commandment is as old as the earth itself, it is the only commandment that points to God as the Creator no wonder why Satan fights against it so badly. Lastly I need you to read verse 17 of Colossians chapter2 it says let no judge you of things which are a shadow of things to come. The seventh day Sabbath is not a shadow of things to come, however there are other Sabbaths which are a shadow of things to come like the one Recorded in Leviticus 23, which is the day of atonement which began in 1844 when Jesus entered the most holy place. Mr Vlad I love that you actually took time to read about seventh Adventist literature, I commend you for your interest although you are better than me, I am in no position of commending you, I have a lot to learn from you, I adore your spirituality. May God unite us in faith as He said when He left us here to continue His work ( John 17:21) because there is One God and One faith( Eph 4:5).

Jesus is a Jews, but He says "The Sabbath was made for man(not Jews), and He is Lord of the Sabbath - Mark 2:27-28. The reason is because it was instituted from the BEGINNING Genesis 2:1-3. "Jesus Christ the SAME YESTERDAY and TODAY and FOREVER" Hebrews 13:8. When Jesus said, "If ye love keep my commandments" John 14:15, what does He mean?? They were indeed written by God and not Moses. In fact, Exo. 20 starts by revealing the fact that God Himself spoke these commands from Mt. Sinai. Lawless "Christians" simply love to argue that they're "Mosaic" in an attempt to prove that Christ came to replace them with the temple rituals. However, it is still baseless because Christ repeatedly tells us in the Gospel accounts that He didn't come to diminish Moses' authority.

There’s no doubt that we are saved by Grace and not works, and that’s the standard of the church. But There’s a standard God wants for all his people.

And that standard is those who obey and those who disobey. I almost finished the entire video... Eloquent and impressively put argument. But the truth is SDA church has the whole truth about the great controversy between good and evil... I've been to almost all the churches until God landed me in SDA church and I stayed there ever since cos I found complete truth there.
