I remember when my family first got internet, dial up internet. The first thing I asked to look up was Aaron Carter in concert. I had every album, I had every poster. Dude was my idol growing up. That’s someone I wanted to be when I was a young kid. But nobody knows what really goes on, what it takes, the sacrifices made to “be somebody”. RIP Aaron❤

Let's remember Aaron for the last good deed he did instead of his mistakes.....his housekeeper!!! The housekeeper was homeless..lived on the street he brought her home and gave her a job gave her a chance!!! What celebrity past or present would do that and it's not the first one. He definitely thought of others!!

He was always so defensive. Constantly. This comes from being traumatized and abused as a kid. I feel like Nick was the golden child and respected in the family and Aaron being so empathetic was used and abused. Parents shouldn’t be able to touch one cent of their kids earnings, my god, how dare they. Now the family wonders why he’s so hurt and open about everything???? You people created it. RIP Aaron, no one can hurt you now.

And maybe Nick saw how toxic family was that is why he cut them off. But Aaron was to sensitive and he felt that Above how shady they was he stay by them no matter what. And probably that it was destroyed him. How can you even talk with people who steal from you and didnt care the fact to pay this taxes. Where are all this money? i cant deal they are all just money machines for them parents :(

@@moccacina8728 yes you nailed it! Nick knew he had to get away from them. It may have been the age difference. Nick was ready to get out, Aaron was still a little boy who needed a mom and dad. He deserved a loving family who had the best intentions for him, so sad.

I don’t see it that way. Aaron didn’t wanna admit he was addicted and continued doing drugs and refusing help. With these interviews and lives on social media - even though nobody took them seriously and many people just laughed at him, even hated on him and podcasters knew that he was a trainwreck- at least he had something to do, otherwise he would have ended up a homeless junkie in a ditch, and died even sooner with absolutely no purpose.

I don't think a person ever wakes up and says "I want to be a drug addict with mental health issues". I'm pretty sure he was already dealing with a lot and wasn't getting the love and support he felt he needed before he started doing drugs. Most people abuse drugs and alcohol to numb the feelings they don't want to feel anymore. If I didn't have kids who deserve me at my best, I would've gave in a long time ago. Rip Aaron Carter. 🕊️ ❤️

Aaron didn't even love himself. He lost his son because he was deemed unfit. He abused his dogs, himself and anyone in his wake. It's too bad he couldn't turn it around and be sober and get mental health help. 😢 But let's not sugarcoat Aaron Carter just because he died. It's best to acknowledge everything leading up to his demise; including his 💩 childhood and how his parents abused him and stole his money and LEFT him over a million dollars in debt. That doesn't excuse what he did after that though. Aaron was so hurt. HURT PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE.

If you listen to this interview then you’d hear one MAIN factor….stop just hearing his addiction problems. His whole family has a problem with addiction. His sister (who died from it) his father, and his mother. He already had a predisposition for an illness (substance abuse/addiction) and then to go through what he did and his parents emptying out his bank accounts….that’s a lot of shit to deal with and to come to the realization that holy shit, I was just a cash cow and wasn’t even treated like your child. It’s beyond fucked up! I’m not excusing his addictions and substance abuse, but he had and has a lot of trauma that steamed very early in his life.

I'm thinking so too. His brother said Aaron was the heart of the family, which just so happens to usually, also be the scapegoat. I've seen so many people be so cruel to this man the last few years of his life and thought for sure I'd see it too if I looked at what they were saying. Haven't seen it yet. He certainly had his faults and wasn't perfect. But I also don't see a good reason for all that cruelty he received and it DID effect him a whole lot more then he says here. Which is understandable. We can pretend sticks n stones n all. But it DOES still effect you, ESPECIALLY, if you "have a heart." Extremely sad to say the least..

After Aaron died I felt the need to explore more about him and his life. I watched his music video's when he was just a little kid en I also watched this whole interview with him. To me he seemed to be a well spoken, intelligent and honest young man. It is really really sad that he experienced all this mental- and drugproblems. Some kid that used to look very cute and sweet in his younger video's and then ending up like a scary face tattooed person. It says all to me.. that his life was mostly very hard and he experienced some big issues in his life. But I respect him very much! And I really like listening to him telling this stories about his life in this interview. RIP Aaron.. May your soul be in heaven now. Greetings from the Netherlands.

You can really hear that Aaron is hurting here. Certain comments he makes you can hear the pain in his heart. Every word he says about his family is true. Toxic families are so horrible and so poisonous and they always smear the one, the crab who crawls out of the bucket. Bless his heart. The family just couldn’t stand it that he did well because that makes people look at them and wonder why they had no passion or work ethic. You can never outshine a family member or they will smear you and accuse you of being a drug addict or crazy or all the things they did to him. Now he’s at peace and he never has to endure that again.

My heart goes out to Melanie & his beautiful son Prince. I know the internet is a nasty cruel place that has their theories but I know that Melanie did what she could to save Aaron. Aaron ended up being the perfect example of what happens when a kid is brought to the spotlight and doesn't have a steady support system surrounding him. I bet that the reason Nick is still around is that his homies in the band have supported him, or else, chances are he would either be in a dark place or have followed the path of Aaron and Leslie a long while ago. Their parents did not care for them. Makes me think of people like Lindsay Lohan and Corey Feldman. Others were more lucky, like Emma Watson. Guy was messed up, but that's because he did not get the help he needed. RIP.

He dealt with a lot. The music business chews people up & spits them out when their done with you. Aaron had a big heart. 🙌🏾 May he rest-in-Heaven.

It is sad, how shockingly obvious his condition was. His mental health and drug struggles were so blantly obvious, and no one jumped in. Just made fun of him. Sure I think he is an impulsive liar, but that alone is an illness. He has been through a lot. He was broken and attempting to stay together. Feeling for his family and 11month old child. RIP

Truth. It's one thing if you're pretty good at trying to hide it all, but Aaron had it ALL out there and still his family avoided him. So sad.

@@LUCY-ws2dd I see this comment every time an addict passes away. No one can force someone to get help. You can beg until you lose your voice but the decision is up to the addict since they're the ones who have to do the work to get and stay clean. Same goes for mental illness. Unless they're a danger, nothing can be forced on them. And we have no idea who was trying to do what behind the scenes. All we know is what Aaron has told us and like the original comment says, he was a compulsive liar. He could've been pushing everyone away since addicts hate hearing the truth (I speak from experience). And what can you do if the person doesn't want help and won't even admit there's a problem?? You can't kidnap them and hold them in confinement to keep them from using. Addiction is a very sad and deadly disease.

I haven’t watched many interviews on this guy. So far I think he is being open and honest in this interview. What exactly has he lied about in his interviews?

"No one jumped in" --- is not true. He got all the medical care available ---- and he got help whatever available. Some mental and drug-addict patients just cannot be successfuly supported , even if lot of help is provided. Anyway some ailments cannot be managed well.

Arron deserved so much better than what he got. He was really talented, but Nick had a choice, he could have said NO, Aaron never had that choice at 7, then they told him he had to do this to feed his family because Nick turned his back on the family. His Dad always told Arron he would never be good as Nick or amount to be as good as Nick, Arron was a child at 7, not even a teen. He was an innocent. They took advantage and even his parents told him he was a cash cow, spent his money and did him so dirty. Nick just abandoned him in the situation. Arron didn't even have a chance, being so talented and so smart. Just breaks my heart for him.

It sounds like the restraining order was because he was high on something. As I listened to Aarons story, it's sad because drugs will make you do anything you don't realize. It's really sad, because I honestly don't even recognize him

"I went to jail for 2 days. Made some homies in the pen." Lol you weren't in "the pen" bro, you were in county jail, not the penitentiary. And since he's famous he would have been put in isolation. Given that he was only there for 2 days he was likely in a private holding cell.
