Part 7: • Danny Trejo on Not Bei...
Part 1: www.youtube.co....
-----
In this clip, Danny Trejo speaks on the events that led up to him landing his first movie role as a boxer in the 1985 film "Runaway Train," which spawned from training actor Eric Roberts for one of the films leading roles alongside Jon Voight, a performance that garnered Roberts a nomination that year for Best Supporting Actor. Trejo notes that he was 41-years-old at that time, as it's mentioned that his path to Hollywood was far different than your standard actor in the industry. All the same, Trejo was soon offered role after role and was featured in multiple films throughout the next decade, one of which was "Blood In Blood Out" that was partially filmed inside of San Quentin.

During the early 90s there was a flood of American Hollywood movies being shown on Kazakh television. Classics such as Universal Soldiers, Commando, Terminator 2 etc. Also it's pretty funny my first view of a Latino or a Mexican for that fact, was a character that was serial rapist lol.

That’s what I came to the comments for, I was thinking am I the only one who felt the interviewer didn’t care what the responses to his questions were? He just kept moving like a train, no follow up questions, no comments, he didn’t even laugh and Danny was funny. What a waste of an opportunity to really get some juicy details. Danny saved this interview from it’s own interviewer.

@@manueljurado7161 Thank you!!! I just thought of how important Danny's story is to so many people, how many behind the scenes story he could get, how humble he is and yes he was funny too. And homeboy didn't laugh & Danny still killed it! Love that last line of yours!
