He had way too much ego to allow himself to be opened up to different roles. That would have been his downfall.

Since you brought up skinny jeans that got me to think about 2Pac and Gianni Versace's relationship. People don't know Versace use to give Pac free clothes and 2Pac also did a couple of Versace fashion shows in Milan, Italy in 1996. I could see 2Pac being ahead of the fashion curve if he was still alive today. You never know, but 2Pac could've been wearing skinny jeans himself if he was to make it this far. 2Pac would've probably did Kanye before Kanye, and what i mean by that is setting a new fashion standard for hip-hop, making his own clothes and marrying some famous actress.

@@tleace2736 Shyne was never a gangster, Shyne was a street kid at max that was interning and being a messenger begging for a rap deal. Shyne was discarded by his father who was a well connected politician in Belize 🇧🇿. Shynes first album as grimy as it was, was actually intellectually sound in his description of street life, in fact its one of the most gangster rap albums made in history. After Shyne did his 10 year bid he was immediately deported back to his country of birth. After a few years of releasing some awfully disappointing music he had to make a decision in his life and political aspirations seemed like the natural thing to do considering his connections and reconciliation with his father. 2pac never had any political affiliations other than regenerated divisions of the black panther party. A party so feared that the fbi put out all resources to destroy them. When people talk about 2pac being American 🇺🇸 president they are completely deluded. I could see Biggie leaving Puff on bad terms and doing his own shit or quitting rap altogether. Then I could see him producing and putting out his own artists, like he did with Junior Mafia. I could see Pac focusing more on movies and then switching focus to rap every now and then, as he continued to ascend in cinema. The argument is not if they would be hot in their 40s. The argument is the game would not be the same if they were around. Meaning if they were alive longer they may have continued to gain more influence on the culture.

Droopy eyed Mofo 2pac wasn't that business minded everyone that know he even said it. Think about it he was in movies and had dropped 4 albums but still needed Knight to bail him out.
@twocents69516 жыл бұрын
Droopy eyed Mofo People take for granted how savvy Big was. Signed Kim made her a star, blew up Junior Mafia, was about to sign Cam’ron who went on to make classics and was about to pop off with the Commission. I also think if Big lived Cease album would of blew up as well.
@madisonmilan13676 жыл бұрын
Droopy eyed Mofo Big was far from dumb. At the time of his death he had Brooklyn Mint bubbling, was working on a restaurant, and planned on opening a strip club. He also planned on signing Camron and Fabolous, and was managing Diddy. He would've been so bossed up. Based off his rhymes and being a storyteller he probably would've written screenplays. His career would've been Cube and Jay combined. Pac as well

peace; Well Pac was an actor before he was a famous rapper. I remember seeing Pac back in 1989 with Digital Underground and during the concert there was this skinny kid on stage humping a mannequin doll rocking the Bobby Brown gumby haircut. Yo the thing is he was acting wild as hell on stage with the doll, lol..We were like yo he wild as hell. Couple of years later dude in this movie called "Juice" we were in the movies like yo that's dude from the group Digital Underground and the world met Bishop and he stayed Bishop until he died...Salute to Pac and Big

I agree with russ, EVERYONE fall off at some point, that’s the nature of life, even Michael Jackson had fallen off, snoop had one point was biggest star in music period and people don’t even know he put out an album last year. They probably would have branched off onto something else, but musically they both would have fallen off by 2005 the latest.
@BrandMath-ns5yc6 жыл бұрын
kenny lafortune Michael was still hot even tho the industry shifted his albums were still able to be #1/relevant.. Snoop Dogg never made a better album than his first, he fell off on his own

the difference between DMX, Wayne, Pac, and Big was that Pac and Big grew with their music. Their albums didn't all sound the same. And their subject matter grew. DMX and Wayne never grew. It's all the same. Pac and Big would have catalogs similar to Nas and Jay imo

Andray Anderson i hear what you're saying, love both of them and play their music all the time. Problem is, I'm guessing you're old like me, and grew up with it. Look at what these kids are listening to today - don't think that they'd be as hot as they were in the 90s, because the "popular" shit today isn't real hip hop . They'd probably be relevant, but not hot
