I grew up in Eden Gardens... Back in the days, our Parents, Grandparents and Great Grandparents worked on the Rances in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar and Fairbanks... But the families were segregated to La Colonia Eden Gardens. Between Lomas Santa Fe and Villa De La Valle off ramps. Naturally the kids growing up would hang out and party... We were labeled gang members and constantly got harassed by the cops... During my Dads day, there was a Heroine epidemic... My Grandparents bought two acres for $6,000 back in the day... Eventually it occurred to alot of rich white people that it was valuable land... They have all but bought out the whole neighborhood now. I hardly recognize it now... When my Grandmother died my Dad and uncles sold the same land for 2.4 million
