Watch Part 17: • Mob James on How Suge ...
Part 15: goo.gl/oXQb1f
Part 1: goo.gl/KFFeMD
--------
In this clip, Mob James speaks on watching the latest Suge Knight documentary on Showtime, saying that he hardly recognized the man that he once worked for on Death Row. He also explains why Suge Knight took his plea deal, keeping in mind that he was up against multiple life sentences. From there, he reveals why Suge's incarceration hasn't brought him any closure, with respect to the loss of his brother, Bountry, which has left Mob James without any reason to sympathize with Suge's current circumstances.

This is the destiny of an intelligent man, who joins the street life as a boy. To look up, and realize you’re surrounded by homies who just can’t see the vision. If you’re lucky, they’ll support. But if you’re the majority, they will hate you for “switching.” When in reality it’s just called Maturity.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't guys like Bountry gang-banging on the streets before affiliating with Suge and DR? The point being that MOB James seems to blame Suge for his brother's death but the way I see it, Bountry probably would have been dead or in prison anyways had he continued gang-banging on the streets and not with Suge on DR. So is the life of many gang-bangers. My understanding was that Suge was trying to get these guys off the streets (for the most part) while benefiting him and DR. They would provide the muscle that would allow Suge to more or less do whatever he wanted and terrorize the industry. In exchange, they would be on payroll and get the perks of hanging/partying with artists like Pac, etc.

"To all you artists out there, who don't wanna be on a record label where the executive producer's...all up in the videos, all on the records, dancin'...then come to Death Row!" I wish Suge should have taken his own advice because he became the face of "Tha Row" like no one he criticized.

Suge controlled gangsters/killers with his mind by out thinking them not by force. Also all men should take accountability for their own actions and not just blame Suge Knight.
