I appreciate your comment. Many civil rights movements were made stronger because of White people who weren't afraid to stand for the same cause as Black people. Just because he is part Black and White, and raised by White people doesn't mean he's never seen the oppression that had stemmed from the Atlantic slave trade. History is relevant and people should read more about it.

@@NikeErThang 1. It shows other celebrities they can stand up for their people, and not be financially ruined in the proccess. 2. Kap never took money from our people, he only gave money to our people. He stood on his principles, risked it all, and still came out on top. It is an inspiration for all activist, and future activist. You do not have to bleed your community of its resources in order to be a successful activist. 3. What message does it send to the world if we turn our backs on Kap now? "He risked it all for his people, and now his people are turning on him? Those blacks are so divided, they will never unite." Thst's not the kind of image we should be portraying to the world. No one I know of thought taking a knee would solve anything completely. We were overjoyed that he shined a light on our plight as it increased exposure to the terrorisim we face. But we were never disillusioned into thinking taking a knee would solve anything. Just as we are not disillusioned into thinking a partnership with Jay Z and the NFL will solve police brutality / police murder. Although, I can say Kap brought something positive to the struggle we are fighting. So far, Jay Z has only brought negativity. He has blacks arguing with blacks "Team Jay Z" VS. "Team Kaepernick" and not "Us VS the Oppressor". Also, his first 2 donations to Chicago were disasterous. Out of all of the positive black organizations in Chicago fighting on the front lines for social justice, he donates to one owned by a Trump supporting white person who thinks cutting a black mans locks will solve their problems. He is unaware that we cannot have social justice, without financial justice. Jay is starting to prove he should have never made this move without Kap on board.

Your whole point is to idolize one guy and if he doesn’t get what he wants then the point is mute. How has Jay Z hurt black people? Everybody loves kap for what he did but we can’t move forward unless he has a job.... yea I was taught to keep it pushing. I knew he was black when I watched them play as a freshman at Nevada on that Thursday night shootout game where he was a freakin stand out. I thought maybe he was biracial but I knew he was a black man when he took off his helmet. That was in 2008 and I believe it was against Boise and the analysts were comparing him to Vince Young. I've been a fan of his since he was a freshman at Nevada so that doesn't apply to me being college football fan

@House of Savoy facts. Blacks sat on all types of valuable minerals and didnt even know their worth until the white man taught them. Walking through oil, gold, and diamonds for eons and were just totally oblivious. In fact african tribes who have little contact with the west are still living in mud huts and that's on a good day. For the most part they live underneath a tree and hunt bush meat. Rodents and bugs.
