@@CourtTV This stuff goes back at least to the 70s. A lot of corrupt judges, attorneys, mayors and law enforcement in Letcher County. Please investigate. Please investigate a lot more. The shocking part of all this is that this sort of thing happens at all levels of the local, state, and federal government. This isn't an isolated event. It happens in your hometown too.

It's actually worse than what the reporter said at the end of this news piece. This is not just simply allegations of "If you want to get out on bail you need to do this, that and the other." I've heard interviews with victims saying that they were already out on bail and being told by these disgusting folks, "If you don't do this, that and the other I'm going to revoke your bail." I realize these are simply allegations at this point. However, if true, the is absolutely disgusting and evil.

Interesting. I had a feeling that there was more to it. I find it very hanky that this Sheriff would just do that of nowhere. I'm wondering if he knew there was something else going on that he wanted kept quiet. They are ALL crooks!
@georgezee5173Ай бұрын
However, from the very beginning of this case it was said that the sheriff's wife and daughter were in contact with the judge because the wife wanted his advice for a restraining order against the sheriff. She was about to file for divorce. That'd explain why the sheriff took it so personal (it was like a betrayal for him), also why his daughter wouldn't pick up the phone when he called her using his phone but she actually answered as soon as he used the judge's phone. It was also been stated that the sheriff claimed that they wanted to kidnap his wife and daughter, which fits with the restraining order element (he would blame the justice system for it).
@edwinacaparelli9911Ай бұрын
@georgezee5173 oooh now that makes sense. She would have to sidestep the police or Sheriff's department because of her husband's position that makes sense.
