Welcome to the second episode of my VLOG "Life of a Modern Monk". I am often asked what my life is like, what I do during the day and during my travels, and how it is to be living like a monk in this modern world. In this VLOG I give a glimpse of my life... come find out! In this episode I take you along during my one week visit to Munich. My name is Swami Purnachaitanya and I was born in the Netherlands. I am a disciple of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. For the last 15 years I have been traveling to conduct various programs, initiate and support social service initiatives, and share the knowledge of yoga, meditation, mantras and other aspects of Vedic wisdom. I have also written a book last year, titled "Looking Inward" - a practical guide to understanding how your mind works, how to get clarity, regain your inner peace and confidence, and effectively deal with anxiety, stress and other mental and emotional obstacles. It also teaches you more about meditation, how it differs from mindfulness, and includes many practical do's and don'ts, exercises and insights that are both useful for someone who is new to meditation, as well as for experienced practitioners. The book has already been translated in many languages and is available across the world.

Thank you! It was very surprising to see the Murugan Temple...it's like they brought India to Switzerland. The Ayurvedic treatment place was lovely. The Indian restaurant also very nice. Bavarian nature was nice too 😊🌞🙏

Ik vind je vlogs geweldig, en je geeft me rust, met mijn ziekte gaat het beter de kankers is in millimeters geslonken misschien door onze gebeden? Ik wist niet wat de longarts zei, wonderlijk zei die.... Ik wilde graag komen in juli in Amsterdam 1tm3 juli, maar dan ga ik naar de zee 🌊 en ook wat reizen nu ik geen medicatie meer hoef, wegwezen uit Nederland ik blijf je vlogs volgen, ik vind het geweldig wat je voor de wereld doet!!
