Wonderful visit Giselle! Tell the women that their singing is so uplifting to me...not only the song but the loveliness of their voices. In my twenties I hit a period where I was so involved in my service to the God that I became “tired”. My Pastor told me “it is ok to get tired OF God’s work but not IN God’s work”. It has served me well over the years (I’m 72) and Scripture is our roadmap from God on how to get through this life.. thank you for your wonderfully uplifting episodes. Blessings. ❤️

I am going through that moment where I need to be alone and reflect as life has been challenging these past couple of months, and when I saw you going for a walk, I connected with you right away and I understood that I wasn't the only one. I always have Christ in my heart and that's why I never lose hope however the challenges get difficult and that is what keeps me going, just like you Giselle. Whether we live alone or in a community, God is with us so we need only to trust in His wisdom, and when the time comes He shall reward us according to our deeds and our patience. We all have a cross to carry and God gives us as much as we can handle. Your videos have been an inspiration, may God bless you, your family, and your community.🙏

What a beautiful hymn! I'd not heard that one before. We were blessed with an inch of rain yesterday. We were thankful to get it. Hubby and I canned 6 qts, 4 pts of string beans Thursday evening. We try to can 50 qts for the 2 of us. We use pressure canners. We've had cherry tomatoes to snack on, too. The misery of Wednesday's +105F heat and humidity is gone for now but we have Canadian wildfire smoke. I feel for those animals and humans that wildfires affect. Give Kona a hug. She's such a good, beautiful dog. Thanks for sharing your week with us.

What a week - I remember my Granny bottling beans - so many, but we hated them! I wondered why you needed so many dresses - you might have to show us how you manage to get them so clean. I must say I have so much respect for your community - when one understands a little of where you came from, it is quite awesome. What happens if someone slackens off - although, after 500-years of pulling together and giving it your all, perhaps that's not in your genes, although I quite understand that sometimes hard work is h-a-r-d. Glad you have a pool & Kona and the fresh air and beauty of the land. Keep safe!
