Yeah, you can go up … few hundred quid and you have a steel mezzanine to stack up fermenters …

Can you add more height to your tanks by welding another cylinder on top? Seems there's some height to go.

Do love the pilot kit, always tricky finding more space , loved the fan update and saving a nice amount of money can't be a bad thing.

Why not extend your existing tanks vertically? (It wasn't apparent to me if you wanted to ferment larger batches or have more variety.) Another possibility would be changing the design entirely and remake your fermenters to be horizontal and on a steel scaffold - you could go 2 or 3 high like that...the trick is being able to fab a leak free manway to clean them and inspect them. Hope you and Tom have a blast with the lovely Coconut Shy PA...but you two always have fun when you brew together. Cheers!

What you could possibly do is getting an external storage for your cold stock, not sure how doable it is for you or if you have room outside, might be too expensive in your situation. Or maybe just a shipping container for your dry stock? I'm sure you will find a way, cheers!

Can you quote the part numbers of the water meter head unit and the meter that you have installed on the pipework.

Yup pitty you couldn't put your welding skills to the test and weld one fermenter cylinder on to top of other fermenters ....

Could you store the pilot kit 'up in the air' on a hoist, the weight might be an issue but a bit like those bike hoists you can get that allow you to store them up and hoist down when needed 😁

Do you use chlorinated caustic Harry? If not do you use heated caustic for your cip?

We have a heated tank for cask wash and just use hot water with caustic for cip.
