@@SRH420ful 😆 thanks. I've definitely been blessed in meeting some wonderful people these last few weeks. 😁 nothing beats good company on the water.

@donmorin5611 thanks. It's definitely a different experience when on a boat. It wouldn't have been fun in a kayak with the swells this day. That's for sure

If i could get you on my in laws boat with us out of Sebastian I totally would lol. We limited on lane snapper last trip and caught some chunky boy red snapper, FIL even landed a baby cobia. Few trips ago he brought home a 9lb mangrove he pulled up running a trip for his coworker

@dgordon040894 oh wow... that sounds amazing and like lots of fun. I have always wanted to do more fishing like that..just never had the opportunity to try. This trip definitely opened my eyes. And has me wanting to explore the ocean more. It can get a little sketchy in my kayak in the ocean at times 😬 I heard lane snappers are pretty good, never tried.....I've never caught or fished for red snapper before... but I watch anglers online fish for them, and it seems super fun. Such a cool looking fish, too. A 9lb mangrove 😲 oh🤩 I bet that had some crazy teeth on it 😈

@@ThumprFishing it’s addicting how fun it is, but like you said it’s such a sketchy feeling being 20+ miles offshore even on a 22ft Center console. If you get the opportunity ever you gotta try it at least once, and if you’re out with someone that trolls the screaming drag when a fish hits gets your adrenaline through the roof. I find lane is one of the best eating fish around, scale, clean, season and fry it whole, throw some curry on top pending your preference and you won’t want anything else lol I caught your videos because of your kayaking and like you said it’s a whole other experience from a boat in the ocean, the level of difficulty is so much higher in a kayak for me Actually gonna be hitting the NMZ this weekend from Kars park to try and get on some reds and trout myself The teeth on it were nasty, thank goodness it was cut bait and not anything live, woulda felt terrible for the little guy getting shredded by them lol

@dgordon040894 Oh, I can only imagine. The only offshore type fishing I did was at night in San Diego many years ago... fishing giant Humboldt squid....now that was sketchy and an amazing experience I agree that kayak is a whole different ball game. For one. There's no leverage like you have on a boat or from shore.😬...cant do too much, or u risk flipping or getting towed around, 😆 I love switching it up sometimes and learning new things. My favorite part.....so if I ever get the opportunity, I most definitely will jump on it. I have been down this week with vechile problems and phone problems....so I hope to get back on water at the end of the week. Best of luck to you. I have been wanting to fish that area one of these days as well. We might have to link up one of these days...either way I'm sure I'll see ya on the water eventually 😁 Oh, and I definitely will have to try Lane next time I get some. 😀
