Girl when my daughter started daycare/staying with family while I worked or did things for myself- my own mom explained it best! Your baby KNOWS that you love them and have zero doubt about that. Allow others to love him!! It’s so important! Not only do you get to make yourself better, recharge and feel better for yourself and for your baby BUT they get the chance for other people to love them!! All the love!! Remember all of your emotions are normal!! ♥️♥️♥️ The fact that you miss him and feel guilt shows you’re human and a FANTASTIC momma!! ♥️♥️

aww mama 🥹 i’m a mom too and i literally feel these emotions so hard. i feel guilty over everything and feel so sad sometimes over nothing, i can never understand what im specifically sad about . i’ve been sluggish for the past couple weeks. i wake up wanting to feel productive and motivated but i struggle to keep it consistent. we’re not alone though, and your being so vulnerable allows us to remind ourselves that it’s okay to have these days. love you Sarai!

Sarai, you literally NEVER took off work after Crew was born. It seems your work and life are so intertwined that shooting a video doesn't feel the same as going into a 9-5.. but it still is work and draining. You don't need to feel guilty or justify how blessed you are - take advantage of it. Maybe take some time away from social media - which for many is just a fun place to be and scroll, but for you it's your job. you can step away boo. you're killing it regardless..

I think your mom intuition is strong and if you miss your baby because he’s with the nanny it’s ok to let her off early and you take break from work to snuggle and play with your baby if that’s what you need. If something in you is saying you need to be with your baby in that moment , do it. As moms sometimes we need that break and other times you need your baby. Just do what makes you happy and comfortable. You’re doing amazing already!
@bc40497 ай бұрын
You do not need to apologize for how you feel… everyone feels things in different waves. You are ALLOWED to work without having to juggle everything at once & it is normal to miss your child when they’re away… please be gentle with yourself 🥺🫶🏽

My son is only a couple months older than yours, and I absolutely understand the travel anxiety!! However, don’t let the flight prevent y’all from having the trip you want. Worst case, he doesn’t do well on the flight, you get through it, and then you enjoy Hawaii!! Also, practically, try some naps on the go before y’all go to train him to sleep elsewhere. Go to the lake, on a hike, out anywhere around nap time and just try to get him to sleep! We have done that with my son, and he’s learned to sleep anywhere I give him a bottle haha. Hope this helps! I feel you!

As someone who frequently flies coast to coast (5-6hrs) with a toddler, don’t let your fears stop you! Make sure he is awakeeeee before the flight, let him run, feed him a big meal before you board, bring snacks, and let him napppp. My toddler naps through entire flights, the white noise is amazing. Snacks will help with their ears popping, bring a new toy or activity to keep them entertained, download some shows and movies, keep them in comfy clothes, I find morning and night flights the easiest. Also make sure his car seat is flight approved! (Learned that the hard way). If you have the budget, get them their own seat and have him sit and nap in his car seat so the airline doesn’t wreck the seat lol. Also it is OKAY to not be okay. I have a busteddd village and often find myself feeling like I have no motivation. Nothing is perfect and that is okay! You can’t pour from an empty cup, take care of yourself. Being a mom (I’m about to have my second) we often feel like we have to be on it and happy 24/7, but it is normal and healthy to have days where we feel just bleh. Showing your kids how to deal with low days in a healthy way, will help them in the future ❤️

Girl we're a military family who just moved from Hawaii to NC with a 1.5 year old. We did the red eye and bought a toddler bed for the plane and so many people said they wish they had that when their kids were younger. She also got fussy and cried for like 30 minutes but most people were so understanding about it. You guys should definitely head to Hawaii 🫶🏼

Love id say to take the trip to Hawaii, it is a longer flight but I think even if crew is more active the trip will be worth it. Maybe bring a tablet and have crew watch a movie during the trip and have some snackies. I totally feel the burnout as well. I’m not a mom but, with my own personal things going on it’s been a lot. There’s a quote I saw that says “self care isn’t selfish” which is completely true. Do what you need for your mental health, maybe one day as you’re getting your nails done and if you go with a friend or go with Jalen on a day off, have crew help pick out the color and design you want to do 😊

Sarai, this video hit me hard! I am a mom to 3 beautiful kids David-14, Sophia-12 and my sweet autistic 5 year old Caroline. I have a boyfriend but he is handicapped so I am a stay at home mom/nurse without the degree. My kids father completely blows them off every single week! He is a Disneyland dad(buys them whatever they want without seeing them ever) So I am dealing with all the mom stuff, appointments, chores, behaviors, happy moments, sad moments, attitudes, sickness, school, all of my daughters autism appointments etc. all of this on top of having severe anxiety and depression, plus learning how to care for my boyfriend who is newly handicapped! 😢😢 plus we are financially struggling horribly right now!!! It’s a lot to be a mom, I never take time for myself and need to learn to do so but I completely understand what you mean when you say Mom guilt is real!!!!! 😢I don’t even have a skin care routine! I love you and watching your videos! I literally get so happy when I see one of your videos pop up!!! Stay strong momma and I’ll try to do the same!

I traveled to and from Hawaii with a baby multiple times. I recommend a "baby lounger" (bought from Amazon) I layed baby on the floor so I didn't have to hold her and I think that helped her sleep the whole way too. The airplane has that "hum" so it's a natural white noise. And remember, most people will understand a crying baby if that happens. Be kind to yourself❤

My son is also high energy all over the place lol. We did a 5hr flight recently & made sure we booked a flight during nap time. We made sure he got all his energy out before our flight. Then took a 3 hr nap. So we only entertained him for 2hrs, which went by so fast! Oh we’ve done this 3 times.
