Geocaching is still a thing and it’s an app!! Super fun to do with kids. My 8 year old has love to do it for a couple years now! Whenever we travel somewhere even if it’s close we look to see if there’s caches and it’s like a big scavenger hunt. You guys would LOVE it.

Mississippi Sirens are tested at noon on the first Monday of the month. Geocaching is very much still a thing! You should do it with your girls! I only do historic and interesting caches and it’s really nice to have a family friendly hobby that brings you to interesting/historic places and teaches you something new. Uggs-yes! Outfit-adorable ! Adult coloring books-always a good idea. Thanks for the vlog!

Designate a shelf in the family area that is "the library shelf". Library books are not allowed to go out of sight from there. Make a list each time you check some out (if they don't print a receipt) and keep it there too. (In one of those clothespin animal note holder things?) Write BOOKS DUE on the family calendar on the right date. My 2 cents. :D

Yes to the library!!! I didn’t have the idea of taking my little one until maybe about 2 years ago and now we go twice a week. I just cleaned under her bed today and found the first book we ever checked out that we keep “renewing” whoops. 😅 I guess she liked it so much she slept with it and it fell through the crack of the bed and the wall. Melts my heart to think about. ❤

West TN here, our sirens go off on Wednesdays at 12 and Saturdays at 12. Laughing Cow- I make wraps and spread the spicy laughing cow on a tortilla and add lunch meat and bell peppers. It’s so good!

So I think I’m realizing that it’s maybe only those states that are likely to get tornados that have area sirens they test weekly? If there is ever an actual tornado, the sirens sound. They test them weekly at the same time so we would all know it’s just a test and not the real deal.

The slider recipe is one of my favs! A great option for Easter ham leftovers. I never cut the Hawaiian rolls before I make them. I just cut the sheet of rolls in half, make the sandwiches, and cut them after they are baked. Saves so much time!

In MN, the siren testing is 1pm on Wednesdays. In the areas of PA I've lived in, there wasn't any siren testing. I just moved to TX a few months ago...and now I'm thinking, there isn't any here either🤔🤔🤔

Jess if you love going to fall fairs/pumpkin patches and you've never heard of or been to Lark Ranch in greenfield, IN I highly recommend. They have all the fair food stands, train ride, lots of kid friendly activities, animals and a mini carnival for kids. And all you pay is admission to get in. One of our favorite fall things to do.

We have the basic red wagon but that blue wagon is so nice! The top cover folds up like a circle 8 kind of like the car windshield shades if that makes sense? We went to a pumpkin patch last week and it was hard for the kids to sit and also have water bottles, snacks, and the diaper bag trying to fit too. The extra storage on your is really going to come in handy!

Heh Jessica.....we were just there 2 nights ago for the Headless Horseman fest at Conner Prairie....love it there so much! We have went several years now! My daughter and family....(two little girls too, 4 yrs old and 2 yrs old).....they loved it, even though unfortunately the weather wasn't that great! We have a (very loud) siren test every day at noon. We live in a very small town with a volunteer fire and emergency service, so the siren test is to make sure that the siren is working, should they need to suddenly summon our volunteer emergency workers. I’m not sure why they have to do it every single day, though 😀

Parent hack from a friend with a little girl- go into spirit halloween or halloween city after halloween and buy the princess dresses/other costumes and accessories. Everything is marked down a lot and what she did was buy the costumes to put in her daughter’s dress up chest. So now she can use the costumes over and over throughout the year playing dress up and it’s way less expensive than buying a pre-made dress up chest on like amazon that is already stocked with costumes. I think she even bought dresses one size up to get more use out of them. Then you can always pick from the collection something for next halloween when it rolls around. I thought that was pretty clever and you feel less wasteful that they only wear it like once or twice for that year

I always looked for a wagon with actual seats, where their legs are down, fitting 2 kids in a wagon having their legs straight is frustrating! That wagon has all the bells and whistles, when my kids were little we always had a good wagon, we still have it cause we use it for the beach now, lugs the cooler, floats, chairs etc! So don’t get rid of it, my kids are older like pre-teens and we still use it!

Our sirens are tested at noon on Wednesdays in Central Arkansas. We have a Larktale one. I needed one for my son who has special needs and can’t walk a lot as well as the baby. It holds up to 100 lbs on each side of the wagon. It wasn’t cheap, but it was super worth it for us. This one you guys have looks really neat, too!
