My boyfriend and I decided to get Lasik surgery on the SAME DAY so it was literally the blind leading the blind. During recovery, we cried together holding hands in bed and eating Popeyes chicken hahaha maybe it was a dumb decision to get it on the same day but we still think it was the best decision ever!!! We still celebrate our Lasik anniversary by eating Popeyes lol

I got LASIK 2 years ago and it was the best decision ever. After having glasses since I was 9, it was so needed. Life changing! Only regret is not getting it done sooner.

My daughter had LASIK a few years ago and the morning after, she literally cried tears of joy because it was the first time she could see the moment she opened her eyes. She is so happy she did it!

This!! It was so amazing to me. And I took it for granted when my optometrist said she got lasik when she had her kids, my son didn’t really mess with my glasses so I didn’t understand…. But then I realized she meant being able to just wake up and see when your kids need you!

I saw lasik and had to come comment. I did Lasik in April. I do still have dry eyes but it's bananas that I went from having absolutely abysmal vision (like -4) to 20/20. The most uncomfortable feeling was the pressure when they make the flap in your cornea. It felt like someone was pushing on my eye. The first day was mild pain. My eyes watered a lot but the day after, I was doing fine. Seriously, I have no regrets. I needed to tell you that whatever fears you have are normal. If you chose a doctor that comes highly recommended, and has good reviews, you'll be fine.

Lasik is the best decision I ever made. There’s nothing anyone can say to calm your nerves and prepare you for the process, so know that it’s normal to be somewhat uneasy and freaking out before. But you’ll be done in less than 10 minutes, come out thinking that was so easy and painless. The recovery and eye drop schedule is more tedious and annoying than the process. Good luck. You won’t regret it!

Your description of how to use a garbage disposal is on point! I have a garbage disposal and I have a septic. So many people say that's a huge no no. Our food waste goes into the trash/compost, but when something accidentally and inevitably ends up in the drain (especially with guests) I like to be able to grind it up! The disposal isn't the way to get rid of food waste, it's the back up plan.

I had lasik over 20 years ago and I was SO happy I did it. I thought it was wearing off a couple years ago because I needed to start using readers, so I went to see about getting it again, but was told I still have 20/20 vision, it’s just my eyes are aging 😩😩

All I could think about during the disposal segment was the spoons at my grandparents’ house. My grandmother would always forget about spoons that fell into the disposal and they all ended up with jagged edges like grapefruit spoons. Used to drive my grandfather nuts 😂

LASIK is 10000% worth it! We also travel a lot and it is so nice to not have to worry about contacts or glasses. My eyes were dry for a few months after but it is totally worth it and it got better for me.

Canadian here. I had a friend 15 years ago who had a garbage disposal but that's the only one I've ever seen. Also, getting Lasik is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Tyler, you helped us out so much! My husband just replaced our garbage disposal and forgot to knock out the tab for the dishwasher. It leaked all over our kitchen... Next day I watched this vlog, told him about the tab, and voila problem fixed! Saved us a plumbing bill!!! 😊😊😊 Thank you!

We didn't have a garbage disposal growing up. We lived in the country with a septic system. I think they are common US towns and cities. I agree that they should be used minimally.

Garbage disposals are wild. In Australia we literally just have a little grated plug cover to catch the food and you just compost it or put it in the bin, a lot of sinks come with slotted plugs with it built in. I don’t get the point of a whole expensive machine to do that 😂

I had LASIK nearly 19 years ago and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself! I was also nervous but it was painless and over quickly. It may have helped that my doctor gave me a Valium before the procedure, though.

I stayed to the end. No apology needed. I enjoy everything you vlog. Our handyman said many people are having disposals removed. They're worthless because of all the foods you should NOT put in them. Rice and pasta are the worst things foods to put in a disposal. Never put meat or grease in it of course. I recently had my disposal clog up from cucumber peels! I trued the little tool. Didn't work. Handyman had to vome over. Tried a couple of things but had to take the pipes apart! Then we put Liquid Plumber in the other sink. He said to do that periodically. Freaks me out when it clogs. I once used a plunger 😂. He said "Don't do that. You might loosen the whole disposal!" Oops!!

Tyler, I got Lasik 10 years ago in Hungary and it was the best decision I ever made. Was uncomfortable for a couple of days but technology is much more advanced now. Good luck!!!

LASIK was the best money I ever spent! I had it done 6 years ago. I was really scared but it wasn’t bad at all! Absolutely worth it and I’d do it every year if that’s what it took. I had dry eye before, which prevented me from wearing contacts. I haven’t noticed more dryness since LASIK.

I had my lasik back in 2005 and did it too young, so I ended up back in glasses after 5 years. I have zero regrets though, it was great! Hubs just had his done a few months ago and is super happy.

Irish here 🙋🏽‍♀️ and was always confused as to why sinks have/need garbage disposals in America 😅 We just put any remnants in the bin and our sinks don’t ever get clogged with food. Go figure!

My husband and I both did lasik at the same time and it was the best decision ever! His prescription was much more mild than mine but I was as blind as a bat. Waking up and just being able to see is the best gift I’ve ever given myself. Also not having to pack glasses, contacts and solution and cleaning wipes…so amazing!

Did lasik only in one eye in 2007 , about 5 minutes. Best thing ever. Yes dry eye and said no fan since you seem to crack your eyes at night. I’m 66 and had a problem with seeing far away so was putting on glasses on and off and my one contact would get matter under etc. never any regrets !!!!!!!!!!
