the clip of frothing the milk is insane 😂 you don't want to move the pitcher around--instead, submerge the wand like 2/3 into the pitcher and hold it slight at an angle, so the milk starts to form a little whirlpool. and i'd recommend getting a mini thermometer so you know when the milk is done

As a previous barista, you don’t need to move the cup around while you’re frothing. Just keep the wand steady and towards the top of the milk until you hear the milk making kinda like a steaming/frothing sound

For the steam, don’t start it until it’s in the cup of milk hahahah. To create more foam, you can pull the cup down a couple times so the end of the frother is about a half inch in the milk. Keep it towards the bottom of the milk for most of the time. Also, I used to work at Starbucks and we would always clear the steamer, by turning it on for a second after it’s out of the cup of milk like in open air. I think it just helped with build up. Just a tip!! :))

Gretchen: I’ve recently started doing this tumeric drink to substitute for coffee some days because I have chronic inflammation: 1 glass and have 1 smaller sifter on top. Squeeze 1 whole orange 🍊 1/4 or 1/2 a lemon 1/4tsp of tumeric powder Dash of black pepper (activates tumeric) Dash of no added sugar pineapple juice 1 tsp of honey I add 1/2 scoop of creatine I combine the honey and creatine in separate glass with warm water to dissolve then poor it into main glass. fill rest with water and ice! I think it’s delicious and makes me feel so good!

Super hard to describe how to froth milk through typing, but… what I was always taught at my job was picture a tic tac toe board inside the metal frothing pitcher, and aim the wand about 1/4-1/2 into the milk aiming it toward the bottom left corner of the “tic tac toe” board, then turn the steam wand on and let it chirp a little with air in the milk and slowing lower the wand into the milk a little more! And with your other free hand feel the temperature on the outside of the metal pitcher, that way you know what it’s hot/warm enough for you!! Hope this helps💓
