I watched your video during my spinning bike session a few hours ago, but I had to come back for writing a comment. It kinda broke my heart when you talked about your youtube career which has been almost over, because of your depression. I discovered you a few months ago and I think I wouldn't have stick to your channel if it would have been all happy and perfect. I love that you showing this aspect of your life as well, and I have a lot of respect for you to be so open about it. And it doesn't matter if you upload weekly , monthly or just twice per year. It's about you as a person and you are so authentic and that's what we all need! So thank you for all of your videos!! ❤

I agree, her sharing her experience helps someone like me who went through deep depression not feel alone. Normalizing talking about mental health is important.

Hey, you are doing a great job. I have been watching your videos since quarantine or before that. I remember your career transition, starting out as a businesswoman and your optimistic positive outlook to life during quarantine. I am 25 years old now and I feel like since my college time to grad school, I have been watching you and getting motivated by you. I kinda understand that I myself was going through anxiety, being lost and looking for the best purpose for me took me to get inspired from your vlogs. I felt like I am not alone, a lot of people are exactly on the same path as of me and we are all in this together. I have been feeling imposter syndrome and felt that I am not good enough when I entered grad school because I had post covid symptoms which was worsening day by day two years back. But your videos were the one that kept me going and made me productive, from small household chores to self care to me time, everything I did was because I was very inspired by you and it gave me motivation to do by myself even when I was sick and barely keeping up with my Research. So, thank you for everything, you have inspired a lot of people just by being your real self.

I hope everything is OK with your heart. I think you made a good choice by not over pushing yourself with the workout and watching your symptoms. Wow... that poem. I can see that my sister going through the exact same thing as an influencer. She has had her ups and downs over the past 10 years with the constant criticism and feeling of self worth based on other people's opinion.

I also went through this!!! I love the rosemary oil for me hair! My doctor said that hair growth goes through cycles, after 3 months it really slows down as your body has adjusted to the withdrawal from birth control!

your poem really spoke to my heart, because I have been there. social media is so prevalent in our culture and your words made me so sad. God wants to be the reason you are loved, valued, and cared for. He wants to carry those burdens for you. He loves you without the permission of others, He does not want you to be controlled by people who do not know your heart. He wants to be your happiness, sadness, value, and worth. The world has stolen happiness, but He is asking you to follow Him. Because without Him, you are dead. He wants to give you new life and profound joy and support. We all love you so deeply and your light will shine again. 💕 stay strong girl. you are in my prayers

I had an issue with hair loss, and one of the nurses at my doctors office recommended “onion shampoo” that she’d been using for years. She was almost bald (shared pictures), and when she told me about it, she had a thick, full head of hair. Just blend a small onion with 1 cup of water and two table spoons of olive oil. Strain the juice into half a bottle of shampoo (your choice), shake, and use it twice a week. Let it sit when you wash your hair, rinse at the end. Don’t use any products for 24 hours after use. Outside of smelling a slight odor of onion when you first get out of the shower, you cannot smell it after that. It’s economical and works. I’ve recommended it to several people over the last few years, who have had positive results as well. Just thought I’d share. ☺️

I use the Divi brand of serum, it does not make my hair greasy at all. It has done wonders for me with both coming off birth control and postpartum hair loss. I pair the serum with the shampoo and conditioner from their brand as well.

I love the productivity! Please keep us updated about the hair loss product you ordered from Amazon. I experience a lot of hair loss due to stress and am wanting to try it. You haven’t changed your shampoo and conditioner by any chance? I know there is an ingredient that can cause hair loss in a-lot of products. Ps, your closet before the game setup was honestly not bad at all!

Hi Melissa - I watched your videos since the beginning and I am a bit late to the game. I remember you were working as an ER tech and aiming to get into PA school. I apologize if you do not like to speak on the matter, and in no way is it my business, but I wanted to ask if you were still pursuing this route? I only ask this because I have been pre-med since I started watching your videos and I (like many others currently) am debating on even pursuing medical school when there are so many alternative paths in our current era. What do you do now for work? And do you have any tips on switching? Thank you!

I think your hair loss is just temporary and once your hormones get closer to normal you won’t experience hair loss like that. Keep up the great work! 🤍

I had to come off birth control because my mental health medicine and birth control is making me gain weight, every time I go to weigh myself I have gained a couple of pounds. I need to be on meds for my mental health, so I am trying to see if I loose any weight by coming off birth control. I also have been experiencing hair loss. My hair used to be voluminous and curly, now it get stringy and frizzy, just wanted to put it out there that you are not alone.

I quit birth control last September and my mental health has changed so much more for the better. By November, I noticed a lot of hair loss and by December, could start seeing my scalp. It’s the worst feeling but I have been using rosemary oil and spray and taking iron supplements and probiotics. I’m seeing very slight signs of regrowth but your hair won’t grow much if you’re deficient in certain things (like iron as a main issue). Try and get your vitamin D, iron and B12 levels checked! I have very heavy periods after birth control (which is why I started taking it) and I’m losing a lot of blood/iron. If you’re in the same boat, definitely look into your iron level and a supplement. Check your ferritin level since that’s the most accurate way of telling your iron level. Good luck!
