I have been watching you for so many years now, and having 2 kids myself I know what its like to have a c section and a vaginal birth and the recovery. It makes me so so happy to hear you be so truthful about your recovery. I think as subscribers we see the 'good' parts (mostly) of the youtubers we watch which gives us the belief that they dont struggle which can make us feel down about ourselves. I really respect you for that

I lost 60 pounds in preparation to get pregnant and to just get overall healthy. I agree that balance is key! You can't deprive yourself of foods because that leads to overindulging and that is never good. I have kept my weight off by finding my balance and still enjoying treats. Exercise, lots of water, and eating right...there are no secrets! Thank you for being honest and real because as you know there are too many people out there who push weight loss products etc. =)

Hi!!! Here is some amazing baby advice that truly saved our lives! I always used to our music on for our baby while she slept.. Medium volume.. Loud enough for her to get used to sleeping with noise. We had dogs and lots of people in the house and this really helped a lot. I put a little clock radio under her bed and put on soft rock music or any kind of music so that she had the noise! It got to the point where I could vacuum while she was asleep! Try it :) I absolutely love your videos and am such a fan!

Thanks for the motivation Tiffany! It's really easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing to lose weight and it's frustrating when you don't see those same results. It's good, general advice, it really is. It's all about a balanced, long term lifestyle consisting of being active and incorporating nutritious-rich foods and enjoying your favorite treats too. It's basic and common sense, but this is exactly the kind of thing I had to learn on my own, and WISH I had had my mother or a cousin, older sister, aunt, someone who broke it down for me and introduced me to these concepts growing up. I guarantee this is going to help people who are also in that boat.

Bellybands are not recomendable. I also had a c-section and only wore it for like 10 days just because I really needed that extra support. If you wear a band your muscles work less and they need more time to tone naturally. When I got pregnant I was a little bit overweight, just a few pounds and gained 40 pounds while pregnant. I lost them all in just 4 months after having my baby and all I did was breastfeed and eat normal. Breastfeeding can give you so much hunger but my measure was: eat the same as my husband, not more. And by eating "normal" and breastfeeding I even lost the overweight I had before getting pregnant and I lost even cellulite!!! In total I lost 52 pounds. And the only excercise I did was walk. (I breastfed for 2 years and has helped me to stay thin, not that I really care, but it just happened haha)

The reason you crave sweet stuff after drinking diet sodas (or eating food that is sweetened with any kind of sugar substitute) is that when you give your body something sweet it automatically assumes its going to get calories, which isnt the case when you are consuming sugarfree beverages, which leads it to send signal to want more!

Great video Tiffany.. my baby (youngest child) is 6 years old... but I still have weight to lose (have yoyo'ed a lot in the last few years) and your video really touched me! I never had a weight issue as a child or teenager (good metabolism/genes and fairly active), but being a binge/emotional eater and also with a LOVE for baking and cooking along with no exercise, my weight has become an issue in the last 10 yrs or so. Recently I decided it's time to do something about it. I'm 31 and realise I need to take charge of my health! I really agree with having having a balanced approach, not depriving yourself,,, but eating as much healthy food as you can! I'm vegetarian so already love vegetables, but love my starches and fried foods too. Lately I've really focused on discovering healthy and clean recipes/meals that are satisfying and I love and have actually become addicted to, rather than the crap I was eating before! Whether it's food or exercise you need to find something you enjoy and is sustainable.. I've lost a few kilograms already and feeling so happy and motivated to keep going,, it definitely makes you feel younger and better about yourself!! Thanks for the great video. Love from Australia xo

I've always viewed diets and such with an "all or nothing" aproach, and like you said it's definilely setting myself up for failiure. I can never stick with it! My weakness is sweets, and I've struggled with it because when you give in once you feel like you failed. But I think your aproach is a much more healthier way of viewing your diet, because it seems like a more obtainable lifestyle than just never letting yourself have the little things, if that makes sense. And at the end of the day you want to create a healthy lifestyle and not just a quick fix and then back to your "bad" ways. So I'm definitely going to try this out :) thanks for the great video, I really found it helpful!

Tiffany all car seats are adjustable. Look at your manual and it will tell you how to move the shoulder steps up.
@MakeupByTiffanyD9 жыл бұрын
MaryLozano yes, it's to the max! :) This one I was speaking of in the video that she has outgrown is her infant carseat. They typically go up to 20 or 30 pounds depending on the brand, (and a max height as well). For her, her shoulders are so broad that she sits sideways in the seat almost. like her shoulders are squished. We have the Maxi Cosi Mico AP and unfortunately we didn't know that it ran pretty narrow. Most bigger babies like Olivia typically outgrow their infant seats by 4-6 months while some smaller babies can stay in it upward of 8 months. She's the size of a 6-8 month old already haha so it makes sense. We already switched her to her convertable car seat and she loves it!

You look absolutely beautiful!! Your little belly will go down more and it will be like one week you will be like wow it shrunk especially after 1st baby!! It goes back down after second baby but you start showing earlier second time around!! It is like those muscles know how to loosen back up lol!! You have a healthy mindset regarding the whole diet deal!! Anything you put off limits automatically makes you crave it and if you deprive yourself it sets you up to binge on it later!! Dieting is definitely what causes binge eating!! I never had problems with my weight until about 40 then it just gradually started creeping up because I have a thyroid disorder but it stayed within 10 lbs and always wore with 2 sizes of clothes. Then I went on crash cleanse and diet and lost down to size 2 and within 1 1/2 year all the weight and more came back with it!! I am more comfortable in my on skin now even with extra weight than before!! I wouldn't mind losing the weight but I accept myself either way!! You should watch some of WeightLossApocalyse you tube videos!! They are great and help so much with not only accepting your body but all of you!! I am sure those sessions aren't for everyone but they helped me even in other areas of my life!! Btw Tiffany you seem like such a sweet little momma!!

So basically balance! I gained 45 pounds but I was kind of overweight so I got huge and right away lost 35 pounds too then over a year of not even trying I lost the remaining weight. BUT I was overweight when I got pregnant so it doesn't even feel amazing to be on my pre-pregnancy weight. So I'm now really working towards getting down to a healthy weight, and the same way, if i want to eat I'll eat but I don't eat fried up stuff every single day. I cook at home, fish, chicken and pasta, and go on walks and get on the elliptical a little longer or a little faster every other day. then there are days when I don't feel like exercising, and then I start up again the next week.

@MakeupByTiffanyD9 жыл бұрын
samantha carpenter yes we do sometimes! Not every time. We have a lot of dogs and families and people out and about in our neighborhood and he pulls and gets away easily. Brad has to be the one to hold him especially when I was pregnant and now recovering from the csection after baby although I'm pretty good now. But he has a big fenced yard that he runs wild in every day so he does't "need" the walks daily like some dogs would. But we still bring him when Brad is up for the extra workout ;)

My dogs a puller too! He's only 10.8kg so a lot smaller than Waylon but he's strong! I have a little girl who just turned 2 last week and a boy whose 13 weeks and I can't take my dog, Scruff, out on my own with them because my little girl likes to walk everywhere now and my dog is an antisocial, grump old man so my partner has to be there if I take him. I used to like the pulling when I was pregnant because I went overdue both times so hoped it would hurry things along...hehe! Thanks for replying. Xx

So, breast feeding contributes to shifting things back into place, something about the hormones. I had a C-Section too, and my midwife and OBGYN advised that I wear granny undies and high waist bottoms for about a year, and it worked. I have no visible scarring, but is still feels kinds weird when that area is touched and it had been nearly a decade since my little girl made her debut.
