Hey - viennese here! just FYI, taking the bus in vienna is the same price as trams and the underground. In fact, you pay per trip (a to b - so with one ticket you can combine using the bus/trains/trams to get to your destination)!

Thanks for the video and I'm heading there next week and I think I'm going to the same opera at the golden hall Muzikverain - is that the one you were at? if so my ticket says black tie dress code is this compulsory?

@@andrewguy1525 hey man, tbh I (Josh) wore a black shirt and black slim smart trousers & this was absolutely fine. Also yes it was in the Muzikverain. Disclaimer- I’d suggest you listen to the ticket and have a shirt on and have a tie to hand… just incase. Also have a great time :) !

For anyone else watching this, don't bother with the green CAT train.. just get a normal train for ~€4 each way!

@@VenturewithJoshandMina no worries, was a surprisingly good video tbh!! You guys seemed to be quite educated and well informed about Vienna!! The green CAT train is quicker, but only by about 10 mins or so.. the normal train is much busier too, so if you wanted the VIP treatment then you took the correct option! :)

@@jguthrie100 thank you for the kind comment. Ok that’s interesting and definitely something to note. Tbh we are from London so we are use to busy trains. Next time we will defo grab the less expensive option! I hope you give us a follow as we’ve got a really cool travel Vlog coming out in a few weeks :)
