VLOG | Last Night on General Surgery

Welcome back to my channel! In this latest VLOG I take you on my last day of General Surgery. And this is why general surgery is widely thought of as the toughest residency. We have a lot of people rotate through us to get their, for a lack of a better word, "generalized" surgical training. OMFS, plastics, ent, ortho, urology, CT, vascular, and more, most surgical subspecialties and even the emergency medicine residents have general surgery rotations built in. But that's the thing, they only do it for a while, in this case 14 months, and it's always their hardest rotation. Where as a general surgery resident is in it for 4+ years depending on how much time their program give for electives.

It's about my upper right side hard palate, there is a bump for last 1 year it's wast painful one just a small one but today I noticed that there is a redness and I can feel little pain when I touch it.im 23 year old male ,can you give me any suggestions? Gen surgery is rough, not sure why they make you rotate through it let alone do a year of it. Seems less relevant, than say, ENT or even plastics.

Dr.; the work your progression is AMAZING; and you have my respect for your determination, etc. THAT said, why do you have the fingernails you do? (That don’t seem appropriate for medical care; YOUR fingernails need to be SHORT; I know of situations when fingernails have contaminated wounds….). 😐👣🩴
