I have a Merc e350 6 cyl, it is very comfortable and quite, however you just need to put it in sport mode and it does become a Beemer. I also have a BMW 330i which is also very much fun to drive, however I much more like the Merc seats, steering and the amazing turning radius. My son left his C300 with us for a few months, and that was a BLAST. It had sport and sport + ; paddle shifters and drives like mad. All of them Petrol engines. Merc E-Class is so smooth in comfort mode, and becomes a beast in sport mode.

I had ride once Mercedes Benz GLS 350D. It was an SUV type vehicle. Believe me that was my best ride in my life. It was a short trip from Durgapur to Kolkata (around 188 kms journey).

I wont consider the A series or even the BMW 1 or 2 series as they are front wheel drive, the real merc and BMW are rear wheel drive and for Merc it starts with C Class and for BMW it start with the 3 Series.

Hey Ranjeet I like ur car reviews and I wish u keep on doing these vlogs and drive impression on more cars One Question : do u feel that one needs to spend the 3-4 lac premium over the expression variant of the e class for Burmester Audio, Tablet and Wireless Charging ?

No but on the exclusive you get the ashwood trim interior which looks better. The wireless charging pad on the mercs are very slow so doesn't justify the premium. The burmester system does sound really great and the quality gap between the standard and the Burmester is noticeable. When we were looking for an executive sedan, we were torn between the A6 40 TFSI Technology Pack and Expression e200. The dealer in Guwahati gave us a 2 lac rupees discount whereas the MB only offered us to compensate the price by adding the star package. We went with the former since the Ambient Lighting looked better on the A6 and costed us almost 3 lacs less.

If you want a sporty competitor of your bmw 330i m sport then go for the AMG version of E class. That is even more powerful than bmw 3 series M sport.

I did drive the mini copper earlier about 2 years ago. I didn't find the punch in the regular version but the S model had the punch and was a hoot to drive and handling was amazing..... it was so nimble and fun to turn it in corners.

sir i thought of buying but one issue is the ground clearance is only 123 mm , so it may touch the hump whereas volvo and bmw has more than 150mm . please give your opinion on this issue. So for this price then only option is GLC.

Actually it's good like the camera comes on display if you in city traffic for surrounding check very comfy to drive around in city the torque from low range is just beautiful in comfort mode i own the same e220d exclusive variant

Merc e class interiors is just a WOW 96 Lakhs onroad , but it's 38 Lakhs more than your 330i , BMW interiors are just meh boring and for your info it's not a sport sedan lol it's just a inline 4 Mercedes is always top class comfort and luxurious interiors and supreme badge value 😘
