I always thought that the Cancer hook would be a cotton candy color. They are gorgeous and would be perfect for my mom who is a Cancer, she also loves the lollipop flavor cotton candy so it's in her favor.

That's so cool! It took me a crazy long time to get into C2C and idk why because it's such a fun way to create designs

@@AltKnots a really good tip I learned for color changing is to take your contrast yarn and wrap it around a plastic clothes pin and make a bobbin out of it. Then when you are done with that color you can actually clip it to your project and the different yarns don’t get tangled when your turn your project. I hope that’s helpful 🖤

just realized that you collect hooks like I collect dice for D&D. I actually was at a comic book convention this past Saturday and bought a really cool, Trick or Treat tote for my D&D books and dice tray. Oh and they have scented candles for campaigns now... interesting. AS to the blanket I'm thinking the green is perhaps the moon's reflection on water????

I would say the perfect hook to go with the 100 nights blanket would be Borealis, I've only got one of them but i ordered one straight away when the UK Furls seller i use had them in, its gorgeous! 🤩

It'll be a pain but I vote use the yarn from the waffle blanket. Wait wait, that's the cancer hook? I need it. I love purples and blues and my birthday is the 24th so I'm a cancer baby. I stared my first c2c but didn't switch colors. I just wanted to try the stitch and I love it.

I've just switched to the waffle blanket yarn and am slowly working into the chevron blanket. Definitely the best direction so I can use the other skeins for a different project if I want to.

I love that Rave yarn and am making a C2C blanket in Scene Queen. It's been out of stock online though. :( I asked CS when it will be back in stock and the person couldn't give me any info. I hope they're not discontinuing it! I don't live near any Joann's so, I asked my mom pick up the last of the cakes for me at her local Joann's. She then mailed them to me. :) (Thanks, Mom!!) I think it's a good yarn (it has a few issues, but overall, I love it) and I hope they don't discontinue it.

That's so killer that you're going to try the color work! It should be a fun spooky time and we have tons of ghouls that will be working on it together so if questions comes up, we're all in it together 🎃 Really any kind of yarn will work but the size and yarn required will change. With a 3 weight yarn the blanket will be smaller but if you're ok with that go for it!

TBH im so upset that Joanns NEVER restocked that halloween yarn and I feel like they are going to do that with the rave collection. I was fortunate enough to buy out all thw pink. I really wanted to make my SO and I matching Pink and green sweaters (he likes pink and I like the green) But i only found 1 green and 3 pinks. Iv been waiting for them to restock online but i dont think they are if they havent already. Tired of Joanns releasing a yarn, and then just canning it like Cmon, REALLY? 😒🙄
