Legend born was definitely 5 stars for me. I loved the complexity of the story line, the historical fiction aspect and the plot twists!! I didn’t think I would be a fantasy girlie but I feel like this is the first fantasy read that has opened the doors for me to read more fantasy lol. can’t wait to read the next books in the series!!!!!!!!!!! P.S omg the arm and clicker setup looks sooooo cozy lol I need that in my life 😂

It's so funny how books read for different people, I really loved When in Rome and Practice Makes Perfect. The way you described your experience was the complete opposite for me! I personally think that all Sarah Adams books are supposed to be quick, cheesy, not so serious reads, a palette cleanser like you said. Legendborn sounds so good though!!

As someone that was unsure about reading Legendborn I can definitely say part 3 is where it gets good. Things really start to happen and I became more invested in the story and the characters. I’m very excited to see where this first book goes and how it ends.
