Hey Nneka, I also want to renew my passport. Is the $50 money order different from the $50 you paid online? If yes how much was the total you paid? Canada Post regional envelope how do I get that (new in Canada)? Also, can we drop in anytime after making those payments or must we have a confirmed date, cause all I'm seeing there is July upwards. Finally can we use a debit card to make the payment online or it must be a credit card?

1. The online payment is 109usd while the money order is 50cad. 2. Canada post regional envelope can be gotten from any CANADA POST office 3. No you can’t just walk in. After your payment is done, you’ll receive a payment confirmation and then you can pick a date online. They don’t allow WALK-IN’s 4. Not sure about this but I used a credit card. I’m guessing you can use any……don’t quote me on this!

If you are a student in the UK, can you apply for Canadian study visa or PR from there? Or can a dependent apply instead? Or would you have to go back to Nigeria to process the visa.

Hi sis, in your previous video about officer and mean behavior towards you, you mentioned "you can't work in Canada" on arrival because of that mean officer. That makes me to ask this question, if you have a 1yr study program, and eventually get study visa; is it possible that you might not work while you study (can you work while studying) or it just that officers thing? I went for my renewal in Ottawa March 22 2022. Still waiting on mine… Lol.. we were also told the same “Passport booklet shortage sub story”… Lol. Naija sha. My brain still can’t process why an entire embassy is experiencing passport booklet shortage. Thankfully they didn’t try to sell us the no electricity/connection issue they said back when I went 2012. They’re getting better at their sub stories 😂

I just got an offer letter to study for a one year diploma program at a Canadian college, but my problem is program starts January 2023 and ends January 2024 but my passport expires November 2023. Please do you know if I will be issued a one year visa regardless or just up till the expiration of my passport? And can I apply for further studies while renewing my passport in canada?

Hi Grace, I'd advice you get your passport renewed before you start your visa process as the duration of your visa is highly dependent on the expiry of your passport. So no, you won't be issued a one year visa, you'd likely be given a 10months visa.
