I really enjoyed my LA trip also 2 years ago. It was my first time there and had a great time. I did Pink’s , the TMZ tour, Santa Monica Pier, Venice beach, the Grammy museum, the Observatory and saw a few celebrities.

I don't blame you. I did the same thing last month. It started off as a solo journey. I flew to Dallas, picked up my girlfriend, stayed in Dallas for a day. Then we flew to L.A. (we both use to live there). Rented a car and drove to Vegas the next day. Hooked up with another friend of ours. Stayed in Vegas a few day. Flew back to Dallas and stayed for a few day. Then flew back to VA. We had a ball!!

Lol about the ‘good morning’ on the elevator. I’ll say it’s not necessarily the tone of your voice saying good morning but the fact that you said it. I’m from jersey. Born & raised. On the east coast, especially up north, it’s not common place to speak to strangers AND if we do it’s just a head nod or a how you doin’ in acknowledgement of a person’s presence. So the fact that you were polite and friendly gave away that you are probably from the southern part of the country. My best friend is from Virginia and she speaks to everyone and finds it irritating that I don’t. Lol. I’m not rude just was raised not to talk to strangers while she will tell them all her business if they respond to her small talk.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Probably didn't expect a good morning. I will say in NC they speak and tourist spots in SC but a lot of the south can look you in the eye and not speak. Im more of a smile and head nod but from the south lol guess I have an up north attitude lol

My dad who travels and shops all the time told me a trick, that if you shopping hard, and you cant fit it in your luggage -- find a post office girl and pay them lil extra coins and have it shipped to your house. :-) Or either he mails his dirty clothes home , that way he can fly back with the new stuff!

I saw Winnie’s twin at the airport. Surprisingly it didn’t seem too crowded in LA for a holiday weekend. Question: when you are walking towards your camera, you don’t worry about someone snatching your gear?

Yes!! I had to grab a pic of Winnies twin. Honestly both coming and going the airports were very quiet. It was not very crowded at a lot of the places I went so I wasn’t really nervous about anyone taking my camera.

Seeing solo travel 🧳 to LA makes me want to solo travel to LA. I didn't think that would be possible. I was wondering were you going to rent a car 🚗 but looks like you manages without a car. And you are right about SC not having a mask mandate 🙄. When I go out, I feel like I am the only one that wears a mask. Sometimes I feel like there is no point in wearing a mask.
