I totally relate to your happiness about cooler temperatures and even better lower humidity. I live in Florida and we have had a long very hot and very humid summer! So I am ready for cooler weather. I looooove candles!! I pretty much stick with the same sents all year round. My classics are vanilla and cinnamon. But i love the idea of following the seasons! I'll definitely try it this year, thanks ❤

Loved seeing what your day looks like! Will definitely help in planning out my daily schedule during NaNo. I love candles too, but between my kids and dogs I started selling Scentsy as a safer alternative. I love very similar scents as those bath and body works candles, like Painted Leaves, Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl, Quiet Grove, and Orange Clove Pomander.

My parents just got back from New York and I put in a request for the Leaves candle. I got it. I love it. It's proper got me in the autumn mood. Gutted bath and body works isn't available in the UK, but we have Yankee candle. Candles, books and stationery are my weakness!

I just started following you but I love how much care you put into your fans and writing! I am excited to read your books as well. I also LOVE love candles. Have you tried the Fireside Marshmellow from Bath and body works? It's my fave - I saw the same sale and stocked up! =) I also am reading Stalking Jack the Ripper! haha so fun! I don't know if you have a Michael's craft store where you are, but here in West Virginia they have Ashland candles. They are nice & strong, smell great, and long-lasting. Anyway, I think they're normally $10 for the large candles, but they have sales a lot for $2-4! It is crazy amazing. I stock up on Autumn & Winter scents as well. Right now they have them for 3/$10 here. :) My favorite are the autumn scents, but I think all they have here are the winter scents. Still, they're still really nice. I love the editable-type scents like cookies, pies, etc.

You should check out Avon's candles. They have a lot of fall/winter candles (I love their Christmas pine, spice wreath, sweet pumpkin bread, and peppermint). They also sell candle sleeves and stands and since their candles are the same shape/size as bath and body works you can't go wrong.

I am obsessed with the coco candles from Bath and body! And the Home sweet home candle from Yankee candle. It smells like earl grey tea and cinnamon. :D Wonderful. Also if you cant figure out what the smell is in the candles just flip them over and read the fine print on the label and it lists the scents used in each candle. Just found that out last weekend!

Oh! regarding the candles, you should try the PartyLite ones ;) They are the best and so much better than any candle you can find at stores. "Cinnamon woods", "Blackberry Cedar Leaf", "Berry Vanilla"... ooooh my... so many amazing fragrances!

It's all your fault, Kristen. I just spent about $45 at Bath & Body Works. The candles I got are Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and Fresh Balsam. They also have a deal right now where you can purchase 4 hand soaps for $20. I got Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Crisp Morning Air, Twisted Peppermint, and Japanese Cherry Blossom. Between the sales and the discount code, I'm all set and didn't do too much financial damage, lol. So, okay, I'm letting you off the hook. ;)

I have chemical induced asthma and if something is stronger than orange ginger or a light lavender I suffocate... for ten minutes or however long it takes to clear my lungs. It's horrible. I'm also picky on scents. The two that's listed above are the very few I can handle :( also, I cannot have candles anyway because my cat loves to catch himself on fire :/ yet... I don't know if Bath &a Body Works has an orange ginger candle... if they did I would love them.
